City Removals have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They patiently stuck with us as we had to keep rescheduling our move. Once we had our dates , they came and packed up our house and garage. We had a long distance move from Essex to Somerset. Three days in total, Packing, loading and delivery. A great team. They packed so fast ! and delivered the other end fast too. We cannot fault them. Their prices were great, compared to many other well known companies that wanted to charge us almost twice the price !. We made sure the team had plenty of refreshments if they needed. These guys work really hard for you. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a great removal firm that do not rip you off and deliver a fantastic service. Well done to them all.

I chose this company as it was local and recommended by Which members.
They were very professional, informative and competent.
Everything was packed with great care, lots of boxes and paper were used.
The washing machine and fridge were installed and the boxes were left in the correct rooms.
Nothing was damaged.
The staff were fast, friendly and capable.
The cost was competitive.
Almost 3 weeks later, when all the boxes had been emptied, they came an collected the boxes and the paper.
I highly recommend this removals company as they helped to make the move a lot easier.

City Removals was amazing with our recent move. Pricing was transparent, they organised parking with the council and were very responsive to questions before the move in date.

The 3 movers were fantastic the day of - everything was done incredibly quickly and efficiently, but care was taken that everything arrived safely. They also dismantled and reassembled our furniture and supplied garment boxes so we didn't have to pack up all our clothes.

I would definitely reccommend them!

I was recommended City removals after a request on Facebook.He turned up dead on time and was polite and helpful,especially when I realised that part of my bed frame was too big to take down my stair case, and he dismantled it without complaint.The move to Alton went extremely well and I would highly recommend City removals. City Removals completed our move and i could not be happyer with how everything went.
Lawyers and banks were a nightmare but at least i did not have an aditional stress with the move.The chaps arrived early on the day , they were in good spirits throughout and also polite.
We got the keys to the new house quite late but despite this they managed to be polite and worked with a smile untill the end.
10 out of 10 from me.

its taken a while to get round to this review we moved in January but sadly were not very happy with the company. arrived on time. 2 vans etc. but left half our stuff so we didnt get our garden stuff in as promised and then felt rushed and pressured to get to the new house . pretty much just dumped stuff everywhere and left. we later found broken furniture desks etc . nice enough crew and got us moved . but ive had better removal companies. sadly wouldnt recomend

Very pleased with their service.
You never notice good service when things go well but when things go wrong, out of your control it is vital.
They put together our furniture and bed fell apart. They drove 100 miles up the A1 to fix it straight away. Very impressed.

Used City Removals for our recent house move. The guys worked extremely hard and everything was carried out efficiently. Would highly recommend the two day service as it takes a lot of the stress on moving day. Great company to use and I recommend to anyone moving house.

On the actual moving day, the 4 movers who turned up were so efficient, polite, respectful and helpful. They made our move way more relaxing than it should have been! In my past experience, moving has always been incredibly stressful: unprofessional movers don't arrive on time, argue about the scope and/or price, break things, etc.

But none of that happened this time.

I had the exact opposite experience with City-Removals: they arrived early (around 6:30 AM) and were ready to start at exactly 8:00 AM, the agreed-upon time. They moved me from Essex to London and managed the entire project professionally. Furthermore, instead of arguing and making everything a big deal on a day when I was already extremely stressed, they were flexible and solution-oriented. Working with City-Removals was a real pleasure.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that next time I won't pack anything myself and will use their packing service so I can focus my time on other things I can do better than packing.

In short, I highly recommend working with them: City-Removals was a real pleasure.

I cannot recommend City Removals enough! They are true professionals. They came with two (!) vans, which made it easier to find convenient parking near the house. I had a couple of precious (and heavy!) items, like a big mirror and some antique furniture, and they came fully equipped. They took the big mirror in a special padded bag, and all the wooden furniture was carefully wrapped. They were super nice to us, kind, and maintained a good mood while moving everything with a smile. Nichola from the office is so sweet and patiently explained everything. Thank you for the smooth and professional removal!
