I had a fantastic and easy move with the guys from Citymove. Friendly, efficient and well organised my movers from Citymove knew how to get the job done. I would highly recommend Citymove to anyone that wants a stress free move!

I didn't give myself any time to organise my move, but these guys came in at the last minute and didn't take advantage of my circumstances. They were professional and hard working. Consulting me all through the move to get the job done well and make my side easier too for unpacking. I have no hesitation in recommending these truly reliable boys for your next move. Not one scrape on the wall in or out during the move. Top job, thoroughly impressed.

3.5 hours late and 3 x the quoted price

Booked a 1pm arrival on a Friday afternoon as we live on a clearway (which was advised). All of this was no problem with the booking agent. Until the day of arrival and I had to chase the chase where the removalists were, only to be told we were booked in a 'guide time' of 1pm - 5pm. This was not explained on booking. Once they eventually arrived at 4.30pm there was no parking anywhere nearby, we missed our booked move in slot at our new building (located one block away - which took them 35 minutes to drive to) and were charged an additional $250 'out of ours' fee by the building manager. They then took 4 hours to move 31 items of furniture from our 2 bedroom apartment (no boxes included in the move, we had already moved them). This number includes small items like bedside tables and 5 dining chairs. This came to a fantastic total of $800 when we were quoted $350. They also dragged our $3,000 mattress through a car park and shredded the cover and 2 sides of the mattress.

So a total move cost of $1,050 to move a few items across the street, and destroyed a $3,000 mattress.

Worst mistake I've ever made when moving house. I should have followed my instincts when I saw only positive reviews here - SMH has actually exposed them for posting false reviews twice before if you care to search for it. If only I had done that beforehand. I felt sorry for the guys moving, who had obviously been booked on way too many jobs that day and didn't get to finish till 8.30pm on a Friday night. 0/100 - AVOID.

Also contacted the company twice before posting this review to give them a chance to compensate and explain - to no reply after waiting 2 weeks. But I can guarantee they will call you to book in within 1 minute of placing an online quote request.

Booked them twice in 2 consecutive days because they are very reliable, professional, friendly, helpful and very accessible. Was desperate looking for a reliable removalist in a short span of time and when I called their call centre for the first time, I got all the answers, quote and confirmation I needed. The guys (driver whose name I can remember as Hugo and 2 other staff who carried all my stuff were very helpful, patient and polite). I will definitely get Citymove again should I need a removalist in the future and recommend them to everyone looking for a reliable mover.

The moving guys were great, everything done quickly and carefully. The boxes delivered on time and the courier even called when he was in the area to make sure I am at home. The support staff on the phone is a bit slow with resolving issues (Still waiting for the refund for the services I canceled), hence only 4 stars.

Solid 9 for Bruno and 7 for the other guy mainly because he couldn't speak English. Over all 9, very happy with the move and the service.

After dropping off all the items, we couldn't find few Things, Bruno was happy to take our after hours call and told us where to find it - great memory. Good sense of humour as well.

The Guys where friendly and easy to talk to they worked very carefully with our belongings and quickly not stopping. I was impressed with the service

These guys were fantastic! They were very friendly and they worked efficiently. I had my boxes all ready for them and they just came in and shifted them out to the truck and then at the other end they worked just as efficiently to unload the truck and bring everything indoors to the new place. They also helped to dis-assemble and re-assemble the bed frame too! I was very happy with the service provided - friendly, professional and efficient!! I highly recommend this company!

10/10!! Vinnie and Marcos were fantastic. They worked hard but carefully. They put in extra effort to place blankets on everything to keep it all safe and we were within the expected time (around 4hours). We have used citymove previously and will definitely do so again
