sold our car to clutch and can't say enough about how easy and straight forward it was. Was able to upload everything they needed online. they called to walk us through how pick up would go and what to expect when they came. Driver called 15 min out and whole transaction took 10 min. Bill of sale was sent while driver was still there and money in our account couple of hours later. Would 100% recommend.

Everything was good until I had to handover the keys, they scanned my truck and made up a story....the guy said , 30 kms ago you erased a code... reduced 1000 dollars . Never again. Don't trust them blindly

As soon as the vehicle showed up I noticed undisclosed rust on a newer truck the delivery driver ignored my questions and said you have 10 days bro. Then trying to exchange it, I’ve never had worse service dealing with anything else ever. They are scammers. They do anything to push it off and ignore you once they have your money. Do not ever use clutch.

great concept..terrible execution. the car i bought was full of undisclosed damage. car was also filthy and full of dog hair despite being charged for "detailing". there are also added fees of $1800 plus for which you get no actual value. when questioned customer service ignores your actual questions and just makes excuses as to why they didn't have to disclose things or why they didn't meet their disclosure standards...not quite a bait and switch, but make sure you fully inspect your vehicle before you sign anything because you will get no customer service after the fact.

Tried selling my van to clutch. They gave me an offer. Took the van to one of their locations. They demand documents and then inspected the vehicle. After the inspecting they decided to deduct a thousand dollars from the original offer. They should have inspected the vehicle first before wasting every ones time. Spoke to an employing who was supposed to follow up did not return my call. No good.

I did not buy from clutch .. but tried .. it's a cool concept, but the time it takes for cars that are coming soon is crazy. And the fact they have established the price and won't let you reserve it doesn't make sense . If you purchase what they have , would be quick, but waiting for something you want , is line the second coming of Christ.. the business model is cool, but the easy of buying what you want is seriously broken. It's to bad, they lost a sale simply because the vehicle I really wanted I waited 3 + weeks to become available and still wasn't ... Best of luck to them, they need to get cars in line quicker , it's a I want it now market , not a I'll wait three months business

I requested an online offer from Clutch and came away with no confidence in how they price vehicles.

The intake form doesn't ask enough about the car to produce a meaningful number, so I used their messaging service to fill in the gaps: bought new from the dealer, ordered with the factory upgraded wheels, factory tow package, factory roof rack, and a 10-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.

I was told none of it affects the offer, and that I could remove the tow hitch and roof rack myself because they want the car "stock."

Those parts are stock. They were installed at the factory and are listed on the original window sticker. Stripping them off is the only thing in this scenario that would make the car non-stock. I'm not upset that the options didn't move the price — I'm upset that the person quoting my car couldn't tell the difference between factory equipment and aftermarket accessories, and told me to take a wrench to my vehicle on that basis.

That's the whole product here. You're asked to trust a sight-unseen valuation from someone you never meet. This exchange gave me no reason to.

If your car is base trim, this process will probably be painless. If it's optioned, expect the offer to ignore that and expect whoever answers your message not to know why.

While there are definite benefits to Clutch (online convience, no salesperson hassle, firm price), the customer service was bad enough that I will never use them again. I emailed my representative twice with post-pick up questions and he absolutely ghosted me. Couldn't even bother with some BS response - just didn't even respond! He was previously very responsive leading up to pick-up day, so I know I had the right contact information. Very disappointing.

This was a surprisingly easy process. I was handling an estate sale. I was able to load the appropriate documents and discussed the process with the service representatives. All went well. There was only one hitch. When Clutch tried to deposit the money into the estate account it could not go through. The bank gave me incorrect information. Clutch was able to send me a cheque by courier which I was able to deposit into the estate account. I was very pleased with the overall process and the help they provided. Clutch was very proactive and responsive through the whole process.

The whole experience was stress free for selling my vehicle. Alisha was great to deal with. Highly recommended selling to clutch.

Just incredible, absolute zero friction experience this is the only way to sell used vehicles, zero drama, exceedingly efficient process. I've had more complicated experiences ordering pizza online by comparison, this is the only way to do business when it comes to the used car market.

I want to leave a negative review about my experience purchasing a car from Clutch in Mississauga.

Just 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery, I received a phone call from their office informing me that the vehicle I had purchased had been damaged at the last minute. By that time, I was already on my way to their office.

This shows a complete lack of respect for their customers. The staff were unprofessional, incompetent, and demonstrated no sense of responsibility or customer service.

No one took into account the time I had wasted or the money I had already spent on arranging insurance for the vehicle.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

To make matters worse, they added an extra insurance package worth CAD 4,200 without my consent.

It was a simple, fast and seamless process. Every person we dealt with was polite, friendly and professional.

The price was fair.

The vehicle was picked up when and where they said it would be and the cheque was deposited to my account before the vehicle was loaded on the truck.

I would definitely use them again.
