Banshee 40 caliber carbine
Banshee 40 caliber carbine. The ejector is flawed. When I called them, their fix is to send me some weights to add to the ejector. I need to do the work with a patch because of their POOR design. I also had a casing jammed in the barrel that I needed to pound out due to the double feeds and dwell time issues. I requested a new barrel and was told that I could send my barrel in to be checked. However, the turnaround time is six plus weeks!!
My advice is to STAY AWAY from CMMG products. The banshee is basically at $1400 paperweight!
Sent the wrong gun
I ordered a 6mm arc that took 2 weeks to get, when it showed up it was a completely different gun then what I had ordered it wasn't even close, I then had to re order the gun I wanted and I am now going on 3 weeks waiting for the second gun that I have ordered and I hope it's the correct one this time.
Horrible customer service.
I purchased a CMMG spring kit for an ar .22 conversion kit from Midway USA.
My AR conversion bolt is at least 15 years old. I got the kit and everything looked fine except the extractor spring was noticeable different. I replaced the springs and it ran horrible. I replaced new extractor spring with the old original and it ran great.
I contacted CMMG customer service by the only method possible. Once they inquiried about my problem I told them the extractor spring was noticeable different, the new style functioned poorly. I told them the old extractor spring was similar to the firing pin spring, only of less diameter. They sent me an extractor. I tried to contact CMMG by phone. Impossible. I wonder why they don't say all sales are final, not responsible for any problems with parts or materials.
It would save time for everybody.
I don't like the idea that I have to give them a least one star.
SO CMMG WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

Where do I start. Paid for a Ultradyne Pegasus Tanker Compensator for $130.00 on cmmg website. Two weeks later and nothing from them. Dont bother calling support number according to them the disconected it. When I called it took 82 times punching in ext. numbers to get help. I had to crash there lines to get help. Dont trust them, they dont care!
Two words.... absolute crap
Two words..... absolute crap. This describes the CMMG Banshee and their customer service. Bought the firearm and after 60 rounds the lugs on the bolt shared off and jammed up the bolt into the receiver. I contacted customer service and was told if I pulled it apart and told them what was wrong they'd send parts (apparently I have to be a gun smith to own a CMMG product) then when the parts came in and I fixed the problem, it started jamming every 4th round. After sending that POS back and tried to contact them to make sure they received it from UPS, and they refuse to answer my emails or phone messages. Avoid this company and it's products.
Dont expect the advertised parts
Just purchased a CMMG resolute and it did not come with the zeroed trigger that is advertised. When I contacted CMMG they said it was one that was already manufactured and it was built in August and they didn't start putting those triggers in until September. That would be great information to have on your website instead of false information. If CMMG was a respectable company they would simply send the trigger that I was expecting instead of not doing nothing about it. If your reading this do yourself a favor buy a Daniel Defense or BCM at least you can get someone to answer the phone and they actually have good customer service.

Wish I would have read these reviews first.I ordered a acro from them added to cart then paid for it.Emailed them on shipping,they told me two weeks!!Im like look you guys shouldn’t sell stuff you don’t have I’d like a refund, oh that’ll be a 15% restocking fee..That’s bad business so 15% restocking on an item you don’t even have???I’m so surprised they are able to operate being so dishonest wish we could leave reviews on Google to warn people of them .One hundred dollars it cost me to learn this lesson
worst support! Avoid!
worst support. I ordered a red dot, the next day they called and said it was out of stock. OK so I said just cancel, they said sure but its a 15% restocking fee. I said for an item that is not in stock your still charging 15% restock fee? Is this a joke? They said no, it is not a joke. So I paid 110.00 restock fee for an item that was not in stock. Avoid this POS company at all cost!
Parts out of spec
I purchased 2 complete 22 uppers that work exceptionally well, but I've also ordered parts from them that were way out of spec and had to return them. So right now I'm 50/50 on cmmg products. I think they should test fit all parts before shipping them out, it's a big waste of time having to return them. Think I'm done with cmmg.
Have to say , Customer Service was amazing for me.
I bought the conversion kit for the 22LR. Problems with it straight away - failure to fire and jamming consistently. Not happy.
Started emailing Tad at Customer Service. He recommended their charging handle and also sent out new spring and connector. Called me to help install. I'd rather the product had just WORKED, but I cannot fault the Customer Service in any way at all.

I am still waiting for you to get an email or a call back or something I have bought banshees three of them at 10 or 40 and a 45 I got rid of the 10 mm I bought a 40 and I still have problems with it you put the screw on brass deflector and it's tearing up the metal on me gun shoots good and everything but your service is terrible and it and trying to get a hold of you or trying to find an email to send stuff is ridiculous with you you got to straighten it out because I like banshees but I'm going to tell you I'm going to start looking other places for pistol calipers because I read too many bad reviews on you and I think if I read reviews and maybe I wouldn't have bought Banshees to have all these problems with them if you can't come up with a good product or at least help fix mine I'll go somewhere else
Cheap materials at mil spec prices
Cheap materials, high prices.This company cuts corners on virtually every part of the gun. The barrel is 4140 steel instead of 4150. The upper receiver is made if cheap, softer 6061 aluminum instead of 6075 and it is not hard anodized! Do not buy from this company. They use cheap materials and charge the same as a quality mil spec riffle. Also terrible fit and finish.the bcg bolt tail had significant wear and tear new out of the box, including deep pitting.
Please do your homework these people take advantage of customer ignorance and profit from it.
good n bad Banshee
Purchased a new Banshee in 9mm. Gun shoots great really accurate. Have shot around 300 rounds so far with no malfunctions. The black Cerakote finish, not so good! It is not very tough, flaking in the upper where the bolt rides. Any minor hit takes off the paint. Have emailed the company with my complaint, so far, no response.
Terrible customer service
Going to echo everyone else on this one -customer service is horrible and they don't seem to care about the customer experience whatsoever. You will be lucky to even get a response from them. Can't see this company staying in business this way.
Banshee Mk4 9mm Ejector Spring and Pin defective
Banshee Mk4 9mm. Expensive useless firearm that will not eject or recycle bolt every 3rd round. Know issues with ejector pin and spring see the many postings ! Apparently CMMG has not upgraded the flawed Ejector Pins and weak springs to create this catastrophic failure right out ofthe box ! CMMG 2022- continues to sell a firearm that is a no-go when you open the box and bring to the range for the first time. I should have done more research before waiting 35 days for a useless firearm that required to be pre-paid before they ship it. Did I say useless- that also goes for the TECH-SUPPORT TEAM which can only be reached by email. No one answers the phone ! They are quick to blame the Mag's which they brand and insert the 9mm followers in a 5.56 Magpul. I have a $1795.00 firearm that is as relaible as a broken broken watch. Should have continued to buy SIG's. I would not have this problem !
Ordered a .22 conversion full upper kit…
Ordered a .22 conversion full upper kit thru my LGS and paid for it. That was July 10 2021. The store owner has since ordered a similar unit from Bear Creek because he could not get a decent response from his CMMG rep. Been waiting about 2 months for the Bear Creek order. Store owner has not gotten a refund f the CMMG REP, nor have I. Just wish someone would buy out the owners so CMMG products would actually be made. Update. Happy with the Bear Creek upper, which showed up about a week after I first posted. Fit perfectlyBill
Good product/Terrible customer service
Their products are top notch. If the review was just for their products, it would be a 5 star. However, their customer service/business practices would be a 0 star. If you are willing to wait for 6 months (or in my case, 10 months) and don’t mind handing over $1000s of dollars AND not have anyone respond for weeks to your inquiries, you’ll be happy. They do not answer their phones and take at least 10 days to respond to an email, if they decide to reply. The worst part was I originally placed the order, I knew there was going to be a wait. I was ok with that, but expected that, if I had a question, it would be answered. Nope, apparently this was an unrealistic expectation. Then, after 6 months of a wait, CMMG told me that I had to cancel my order and put in a new order. I still don’t know why this was the case. I tried to find a similar product, but it was difficult as their website is a mess. Instead of the 4 items I ordered, on the second order I was only able to order 3 items and, even after a “10% discount code” the price was over $200 more. In short, I got less products and had to pay more money. I sent multiple emails, tried to call, etc to get clarification, but no luck. I did not have any other company that I could order the parts from, so I was stuck. Great equipment, but do not expect any communication. Is it worth it? That will be up to you. I am extremely doubtful that I will be a return customer. 10 months was too long in my opinion.

This company is up their with the worst on the internet. I'm tired of companies blaming Covid or that they can't hire enough people. These are garbage excuses! If you cant answer your phones, or return voicemails, or have a chat that continues to time out right when its close to your turn...THEN JUST TURN OFF YOUR WEBSITE AND STOP TAKING MORE ORDERS, UNTIL YOU CAN CATCH UP AND DELIVER ANY SEMBLANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! This place is horrible! They can't ship timely, if at all, and their is no way to communicate with a human being at all. I will never buy another CMMG product and highly advise you stay away from this company unless you want to endure endless aggravation!
Horrible customer service.
I have had 2 complete builds on order for a year. I have sent inquies to customer service. The last response was 4 months ago with a canned reply of it will ship as soon as it is built. I do not see CMMG staying it business much longer as there wait times are unreasonable and customer service is horrible. I would never recommend CMMG anyone.
