Horrible costumer service. Not to talk about the things that were in the site but were not literally MADE anymore - that could happen.

What made me mad was that they took out an item from my purchase - that I already had payed - without my consent, because they thought it was not fit for the use.

I mean, can I decide what can I order and not? They had no idea of my intended use! And after that, again, without my consent, I asked if they could simply put it back in the order (since I never gave them the permission to took that item out of the order) - they replied with 'then do another order'.

Rude, and absolutely frustrating. If I could, I'd give them a 0. Again, I don't want to appear like an entitled costumer, but damn - at least ask for my consent before removing stuff from my order. Stuff that I already payed for, and that is not easily available where I live.

Awful service. Ordered product was not really in stock.

I’ve bought a few Lanshan tents from Collinsoutdoor in the last few months and couldn’t be happier - the prices are great and all my orders (four since September 2023) have arrived via Royal Mail, all taxes paid, within 10 days. Tents are well packaged and 100% genuine - I’m one happy camper!

My girlfriend purchased the knot strong breeze tent for my birthday this summer as I had a backpacking trip. The tent arrived and to my surprise the tent was not 3.5lbs as advertised it was 4.2lbs. I actually wanted to get something around the 2lbs mark but because it looked like a great tent and had all the features I liked I was ready to sacrifice and carry the extra weight but 4.2lbs was just too heavy for me so I contacted collinsoutdoors and they told me it was an error and to send the tent back. They gave me an address and I said to my girlfriend to wake me in a couple of hours because I wasn't feeling well and after my nap I would send the tent back but my girlfriend took it upon herself to send the parcel back she sent it to the address that was on the tent (labeled return address) it was sent recorded delivery and was received by a man with the name JAMES..... I contacted collinsoutdoors and asked have they received the tent, they said it hadn't been received. I explained to them that my girlfriend sent it to the return address and asked why the return address was different to their address they wouldn't answer me and blamed me saying I should have sent it to the address given and that they couldn't do anything they later came to me and said it was in a post office in Aldershot. I rang around all post offices in Aldershot and the sorting center it was never received. They won't give me a refund untill I return the tent to them and as we don't even remember the address that it was sent to parcel force won't do anything about it. I understand I should take some of the blame for my girlfriend sending it to that address but why was there a random return address on the tent I suspect that they are dropshipping from James... But that would also mean they would know the address it was sent to and they refuse to give me the address so I can make a dispute against parcel force. They are conmen in my eyes and I would advise to stay away from the company because their consumer service is abysmal and if they can treat me like this god knows what else they are capable of..

Was a bit skeptical after ordering as I didn’t receive an emails to tell my order had been placed. But you can track your package through the number they provide you with and it came on time.
So great website for bits of camping kit for great prices!
