In my experience, I truly recommend using CFI for learning about finance.

The courses were more than enough and on spot. The instructors were highly educated and very caring about delivering the information and explain the material in the best way it be explained.

The course is really structured in a way it keeps grabbing your attention making you want more, even the way the learning is so detailed that even if you didnt understand some of the terms or subject you would get it at the end of the chapter, I really enjoyed learning about financial modelling and valuations and have been applying what I am learning to my work.

I really enjoyed my experience with CFI. The content was practical and closely related to my day-to-day work in finance. Completing the FPAP program was a valuable addition to my professional development, especially in FP&A, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling. Highly recommended for finance professionals.

CFI FMVA is the best course I’ve ever taken, the experience provided a deeper understanding of how finance professionals evaluate businesses and make informed decisions. But, I think if you give us more information about how you take the information(outputs). If you do the model from scratch by taking the companies information that could be helpful for beginners.

Extremely disappointing service. Took an annual membership out of my account and refuse to refund it despite me contacting them within an hour of the transaction and despite the fact I’ve never used any of their services over my last year of membership. I advised that I really cannot afford this payment now and they had no empathy whatsoever. Just responded with the T&Cs. What kind of organisation takes people’s money for a service they aren’t engaging with and refuses to refund and cancel the account? Not cool.

Very helpful course with clear, simplified explanations. It helped me gain a much better understanding of three-statement financial modeling and business valuation. I would definitely recommend it!

Extremely corrupt business. They automatically charge your card with no warning, and will not refund you. They just want the money, and not satisfied customers. Never used the product, and never will with such poor customer service. Appalling.

Considering my background in accounting, audit, and finance, FMVA is an excellent complement to my existing qualifications. It helped me to learn new skills and transition from traditional accounting and auditing into higher-level financial analysis, corporate finance, and management.

The courses are technically rigorous and hands on, Materials are well organized and the exam is a fair test of what you've learned. Highly recommend for anyone wanting real, applicable financial modeling skills.

From Excel Novice to Finance Pro — CFI's FMVA Delivered Real-World Skills!
I enrolled in CFI's FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) certification hoping to sharpen my Excel and valuation skills, and it exceeded my expectations. The course structure is logical and beginner-friendly, starting with Excel fundamentals and progressively moving into complex topics like DCF valuation, LBO modeling, and M&A analysis.
What stood out most was the practical, hands-on approach — every concept is taught through real-world case studies rather than dry theory. The instructors break down complicated financial concepts into digestible steps, and the templates/models provided are genuinely useful even beyond the course.
The flexibility to learn at my own pace was a huge plus since I was balancing this with a full-time job. The final exam is challenging but fair, and it really tests whether you've absorbed the material.
Since completing FMVA, I've noticed a tangible improvement in my confidence building financial models and interpreting company valuations at work. If you're serious about a career in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or FP&A, this certification is a strong investment in yourself.

I wanted to get some hands on experience in financial modeling as well as looking to break into the industry in the future. I loved the courses. They are very practical, hands on and relevant for the industry with course curriculum updates happening periodically. This made me feel that CFI is a very forward looking organization. I would recommend CFI courses to anyone - experienced or starting out. I have had a fantastic introduction to finance from CFI.

Great experience in the learning journey

The course content is well structured, logical, and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated that CFI provides practical templates, which make it easier to apply the concepts learned. The instructors explain the material clearly and present it in a way that is engaging and easy to understand, making even complex financial modeling concepts easy to understand.

The practice exercises, with complete answers really helped a lot to understand the whole process. Fast informative to the point videos made it completely easy to learn. A good course to gain practical knowledge !
