Completing the Professional Certificate in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with CFI has been a rewarding and transformative experience in my professional journey. As someone passionate about financial planning, business performance, and strategic decision-making, this programme has helped me strengthen my technical skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the role FP&A plays in driving business success.

I've earned the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) certification from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). Three-statement modeling, valuation, budgeting and forecasting, and scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Seniority carries a quiet risk: the further you move from the spreadsheet, the more you depend on models other people built, and the less able you are to interrogate them. In a market where one currency move can rewrite a business case overnight, that is not a comfortable place to sit.
Going back to a blank workbook was humbling. It was also the most useful thing I've done for my technical work this year.

I recently completed the CFI FPAC program and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructors were the real highlight, especially Duncan, who was my favorite. He explained complex concepts clearly and broke them down step by step, so even the more technical topics felt approachable. He didn’t just show what to do; he explained why, which made the material stick.

The lessons were well structured, each building on the last, and the practical examples made it easy to see how everything applies in real work. I came away with skills and confidence I can use right away in my role.

If you’re considering the FPAC, I highly recommend it. It’s well worth the time and investment.

The FMVA program helped me strengthen both my Excel skills and my understanding of corporate finance and business valuation. The courses are practical and directly applicable to real-world financial analysis. I also particularly appreciated the flexibility of the self-paced learning format, which made it easy to fit the program around my professional commitments. Overall, a valuable and worthwhile certification experience.

The breakdown of the various topic is digestible efficient and effective. It allows to really learn at your own pace. Altough some of the lesson seems to be repetitive it is still quite useful to remind the learner the previous lesson.
