If I Were to offer constructive feedback, it would be beneficial to include even more industry- specific case studies such as hospitals and hotels and add a separate course about effects of AI and AGI on accounting and finance and auditing. Overall CFI provides a strong learning experience and has been valuable in supporting my professional development.

FMVA and BIDA strengths – These two programs stand out, offering advanced technical skills and deeper rigor.

Certifications outside FMVA and BIDA tend to remain at a freshman college level. While they provide a solid introduction, they lack the robustness and advanced concepts that would better prepare learners for professional application.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with the FMVA course. Most of the content is explained clearly and step by step, with practical examples and exercises that make the concepts much easier to understand and apply.

As someone who doesn’t currently have professional experience in the finance industry, it’s difficult for me to assess at this stage how directly applicable everything will be in a real-world role. However, I feel the course has given me a strong foundation and a much better understanding of financial modelling, valuation and financial analysis.

I particularly appreciated the practical approach of working through models and examples rather than focusing purely on theory.
