Crooks never got my order but still charged me told me to return order to China, why it was made in the USA. Nope all lies. Do yourself a favor take it up with your credit card company and leave the reviews they deserve. SCAM. Old people you think your helping don't exhist.
If I could rank it zero stars I would
If I could rank it zero stars I would. This is a complete scam. Ordered nice hand made ceramic items. I was shipped machine made plastic junk. No questions asked returns? What a joke. After some back and forth emails with the vendor I was told I could have a 50% refund if I shipped the plastic junk to Hong Kong (cost to me= $20). It was originally shipped to me from Florida. AVOID CRAFTFOLK AT ALL COST!! A TOTAL SCAM!!!
Authentic craftsmanship, zero disappointment
Second order from these guys now and still no complaints. First time i ordered a small garden piece, this time the whirligig. Both times the quality was exactly what you'd hope for when buying handmade. Customer support was quick when i had a question about shipping. Pretty rare these days tbh. Will keep coming back.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE, items shipped from Hong Kong and are definitely not handmade in Ohio. Advertising a 3d chopper bike with spinning wheels, I received a mass produced flat cut out of a chopper bike with wheels
Cheap Chinese Junk
I ordered a hand-woven teardrop-shaped bee hotel, made in my home state of North Carolina. I received a stapled together pine wood octagon piece of crap shipped from China via Florida. Don't fall for their sexy copy; it's all a scam.
Don't purchase from this site!!!
Don't purchase from this site!!!! :( I should have taken the time to look up reviews for this scammer lying website! I would give -100 for deceptive photos that look NOTHING like what I received, and the "Story" behind this "crafted" item. I bought the garden flowers that were supposedly hand crafted and made from clay and look beautiful and delicate in the picture with nice beautiful colors... No! They are a chunky cheap looking dollar store item made of plastic that I wouldn't have even purchased for a quarter! Don't buy anything from this place. It's all AI pics and stories to sell their super gaudy cheap stuff. Scammers indeed!
A very comprehensive product description BUT deceptive
A very comprehensive product description which was one of the reasons I bought Dot's Bee Hotel. How could that be misunderstood?? BUT.... The advertisement description, which was great, is a gross misrepresentation. The most obvious and easiest part of the description to call into question is the "tear-drop" shape, etc. The one I received is machined, (maybe "hand stapled), smaller in size, and it was OCTAGONAL in shape (8 sided, nothing woven about any part of it). GOTTA BEE an intentional deception. I wrote (them) a note, but never a response.

Less than 0. This website is completely fraudulent. Every part is a lie. Their trustpilot rating, product reviews, stories of artisans are all fake. Please do not order from these criminals. This company is based in Hong Kong. My card was charged multiple times. BUYER BEWARE!!
Scam from all possible angles
Scam from all possible angles. Order a mason bee house. Presented as being hand made by a elderly gentleman in North Carolina,USA. Product was mass produced out of the USA.
This is a scam site
This is a scam site. They'll publish a heartwarming story about how an elderly man has been making bee hotels with research and care for 40 years, and is retiring and selling the last of his stock. Story touts the craftsmanship, also noting that the drilled tunnels are "smooth as glass" so as not to tear the bee's wings, etc. The site states all items ship within 2-3 days. Site also states that each "crafter" personally responds to emails. They do not. After waiting two weeks with no response from this fictional crafter, I stated that I intended to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I magically received the bee hotel two days later, and the entrances for the bees are studded with splinters everywhere. Useless scammers, buyer beware.
SCAM
SCAM! FRAUDULENT! Not a US company, small business. CHINA address! Never shipped.
Dollar Store Junk
Dollar Store Junk! These are NOT handmade products made by local artists, these are cheap dollar store Chinese pieces of garbage that you can buy for a dollar! Don't waste your money! Not only that, but they don't even honor their own Return Policy! You have to pay to return the junk to China! Nothing but a giant SCAM OPERATION!
Do NOT buy from this company!
Do not buy from this company. Wonderful ad showing a beautiful Bee Hotel handmade in the USA by an older woman who was stopping making them. Product that arrived a week later is HORRIBLE quality, shipped from China or Hong Kong. And when trying to return it, they say the shipping cost to Hong Kong must be paid by me, or if I don't want to do that, they are willing to refund me 30% of the purchase price. All for a product advertised as handcrafted in North Carolina. It is a scam and dishonest advertising. Do not buy from these people.
The Clayton Dawson Bee Hotel w/Copper Roof
I saw all the videos selling 73 year old Clayton Dawson of Appalachia's "Handmade" Bee Hotel. I sent numerous emails asking about the claim that the roof was a full copper roof but the pictures shown as I was checking out only had a tiny strip of copper covering the roof peak. I kept asking how to order the one with the full copper roof but never received an answer either via their site or when I directly emailed the supposed seller.
If they're not even going to answer an email inquiry about a glaring switch in materials on this item, then I'll bet it's even worse when you receive the item from them that's WAY off from what you were conned into buying.
Too bad there are so many disgusting scammers like this out there and seem to be multiplying daily.
Scam Poor Quality Chinese Made Products
Dot Callaway is apparently a widow from Shrewsbury who is a carpenter and a potter depending on the tat being sold. She also lives in North Carolina for American customers. Strangely her late husband, Earl, has recovered from his death and is now selling his handmade bird baths. The products look great in the photos but in reality are poor quality and made in a Chinese factory as you find out when you want to return anything.
Misconception of products
Misconception of products, they out right lie about what you are ordering!!! Terrible customer service er service and products are dhipped from china,
Finally found a shop that gets it
ok so i was just randomly browsing one night looking for something unique to give as a housewarming gift and i ended up on this site. stayed on it for like 45 minutes lol. ended up ordering two things. both arrived really well packed and quicker than i expected honestly. this is the kind of shop you want to support — real people making real things. already recommended it to my sister.
Total fraud
Total fraud. Paid 100$ for cheap resin beecups not ceramic. Avoid at all cost...
Do not buy anything from CROFTFOLK this…
Do not buy anything from CROFTFOLK this it's a scam they will just take your money it's a complete lie
I have not yet received the items I…
I have not yet received the items I ordered, and any returns need to go to Hong Kong. This is highly, highly suspicious and now I am quite concerned about them having my credit card number. I will need to get it changed. The same items I ordered (advertised as local) have clearly been mass-produced based on the reviews from others.
