I have not yet received the items I ordered, and any returns need to go to Hong Kong. This is highly, highly suspicious and now I am quite concerned about them having my credit card number. I will need to get it changed. The same items I ordered (advertised as local) have clearly been mass-produced based on the reviews from others.
What a joke. Snoopy Crash and Burn
What a joke. The snoopy plane spinners in the advertisement looks like a 3D spinner. It's NOT. It's flat pieces of metal that need extensive assembly.

Would give zero stars if allowed !
This is a scam company in Hong Kong that runs fake "articles" about master craftsmen somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains, or in the deep south, that are retiring after 50 + years of honing their craft.
They then send you cheap knock off chinese garbage and refuse to comply with their own so called "refund policy"
You will have no choice but to go through the hassle of filing a dispute with your own credit card company just to get your money back from these crooks.
I would give them a zero if I could
I would give them a zero if I could. What I was shipped and what I ordered was not the same. This site is definitely a huge scam. Do not buy anything from them !!!
The bee house ordered was completely…
The bee house ordered was completely different from the item received. It was very cheaply made, had properties it expressly indicated it would not have, absolutely false advertising. Very sorry I didn't see these reviews 1st. I would never have ordered it. I'm going to see how much it costs to return. Probably not worth returning. I see they've made yet another identical, yet false story up about a bee house maker. What a rip off..
VERY disappointed-plastic-VERY small in size
I was VERY disappointed to find that these bee cups were minuscule in size and made of plastic, NOT ceramic.
I feel like I’ve been scammed!
DO NOT ORDER FROM CRAFTFOLK
If you are thinking about ordering from CRAFTFOLK, DON'T. Search "is CRAFTFOLK a scam?" Is it impossible for you to cancel an order for a refund? Know that you've been scammed. Before you do anything else, dispute the charges with your credit card issuer or bank.
My story: Saw on-line backstory about Frank, an elderly American artisan who makes high quality, hand-made yard spinners in the USA. Without searching (stupid me!), ordered four of them. Got cold feet & researched CF. Yikes!! A well-designed (perfect?) on-line scam. I immediately emailed CF to cancel my order and issue a refund. Phone number was bogus. Received breezy email from "Julia", CF's customer service rep, 'Sorry. Your order is on its way and can not be cancelled." It was a lie since I hadn't received a shipping notice. Amazingly, hours later received shipping notice from CF with name of shipper and tracking number. Deceptive email. Called shipper and found out only shipping label has been created; CF had NOT handed over package. Therefore CF could have canceled the order. (Package is still pending, shipper has still not yet received it.) Notified shipper that I didn't want the package. Emailed this info and third request for refund to CF. Told them I'd refuse the package. CF has gone dark on me and won't respond to my emails.
CF's refund/return policy is to ship everything back to an address in China, at Buyer's sole expense. (Made in the USA. Right?) Cost of return shipping is more than product itself. Screwed? No, I have disputed the transaction as fraudulent and expect a full refund.
Do you want to do more than post a sad 1-star review? Search "how to report a fraudulent storefront website with no us address" Response will allow one to report CF's activities to the right government agencies and to protect your finances. I hope this review helps at least one person.
I was taken by a story of an old woman…
I was taken by a story of an old woman in North Carolina building bee houses. TOTAL SCAM. The design is NOTHING LIKE THE BEE HOUSE SHOWN in the article. All of the interesting points shown to make her bee houses special, ARE NOT EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT IN THIS PRODUCT. Then, of course your credit card will side with you on this one, once given the evidence. However, you'll be stuck having to send it back to Hong Kong. This has been a tough/expensive lesson to learn. Now, I've noticed that they are scamming folks under another company name. Same story, but with an older man in Arkansas. Don't let it happen to you.
Please save your money and do not order…
Please save your money and do not order from this company. The handcrafted ceramic bee blossoms made in the Blue Ridge mountains were nothing but cheap SMALL resin flowers, which I could have purchased at the dollar store. They do have money back guarantee however they will not refund your money until you ship it back to their Hong Kong address within their 14 day time frame for returns. A rip off!

Item pictured is not what received
Item pictured is not what received. They are based out of Hong Kong, but want item shipped back to Hong Kong if not satisfied. Stay away from this company. Total rip off!!!!
False advertising again.
I just noticed another advert from Craft Folk. Another type of bee hotel supposibly made in North Carolina by a local artist. Do not fall for this scam! If you did purchase this item, dispute the charge and get you're money back. I disputed the charge and got an email from Craft Folk refunding the cost.
Below a 1 star
Below a 1 star. Total scam on the Beewater flower
No metal stem, not glazed, cheaply painted and stunk when arrived.
Return to Hong Kong , cost 75.00 more than product.
Not locally crafted. Total lie.
Do not buy from craftfolk
Better to go to your own local craftsman for the real deal.
complete bait and switch
complete bait and switch. ordered a bee hotel thst was tear drop shaped and supposedly made by an artisan in the states. what i got was a piece of junk that was everything that is wrong with most commercial bee hotels, and it cane from Hong Kong. when I complained they wanted me to pay to ship the thing back to Hong Kong and then they would supposedly refund the purchase price. total ripoff.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. Do not buy their products. All is a scam.
Scam, Made in China... not by American craftspeople
I ordered 2 things that were supposedly made by American crafts people. One of the items came in 1/2 the size shown. Supposed to be ceramic and came as plastic. Made in China
The 2nd item was not as shown at all, different, materials different size and shape.
To return you have to send to China. So no returns essentially. And not made by Americans. Very deceitful
I should have researched this “company “
I should have researched this “company”! Advertisement was very misleading. Product very overpriced for what I received. Items much smaller than represented in pictures. Also appears to be mass produced instead of handmade. I advise everyone to steer clear of this site!

I ordered the bee flowers which were a total ripoff. The product was totally misrepresented. They were not hand made pottery, but a cheap massed produced resin that came with no stems and were truly ugly. I contacted the customer service sending them pictures of the website version and what I received. I wanted my money back. I was told to return the product at my expense to Hong Kong! Fortunately, I used Pay Pal and the reimbursed me for the amount paid. The website claims to have high rating from Trustpilot. This is definitely a case of bait and switch and buyer beware.
deceptive scam by Craft-Folk
deceptive, bait and switch, advertising. You do not receive the product pictured but instead a cheap, poorly made knock-off. Company asks you to return merchandise to Hong Kong if not satisfied when merchandise is purportedly made in the US . Phone number and email linked to UK yet supposedly, it's all from the US. Huge scam
A complete scam
A complete scam. Was supposed to be individually hand-crafted, ceramic, etc. The website said like 5 times in 5 different ways that it was hand-crafted by an artisan, who was based in North Carolina. Received resin, Dollar Store quality mass-produced crap. The site said something along the lines of "if you're not happy, send us an email and we'll make it right." So I send them my email and they tell me I have to return the Dollar Store mass-produced crap to Hong Kong, at my expense, and THEN they will refund my money. Why would I ship anything to Hong Kong when the product I ordered was supposed to be from North Carolina? 100% fraudulent.
Rip off
Rip off! Item was neither as pictured nor as described. Totally false and misleadingly described as made by artisans in the Appalachians. It was a fraction of the size (unless people next to it are 3 year olds whose hands hold it). 'Satisfaction guaranteed' involves sending it to Hong Kong. Buyer beware!
