Simply the best, BUT ........
I have been buying Edelweiss duvets and pillows from 'Cuddledown' for many years, and have three things to say about their products.
Firstly, and most importantly, they are fabulous duvets and pillows, absolutely magical. I cannot imagine that there is better quality bedding on sale in Britain today. Absolutely the best, and I very highly recommend them to any prospective purchaser.
Secondly, and less impressively, their prices are absurdly high. You will need very deep pockets if you are going to be able to afford to enjoy them. Yes, I know that 'you get what you pay for', and that one expects to pay a premium price for the best quality. But I have just considered buying another four of their standard size 'Edelweiss' pillows in their '30% off warehouse sale' and was horrified to learn that the total price of the four pillows would be £588, reduced from their apparently 'normal' price of £840.
Come on Cuddledown, you're having a laugh!! My firm view is that their '30% off' promotions are purely a dishonest marketing scam, i.e. the company falsely 'marks up' the price of an item by (at least) 30%, simply so that it can offer an (almost permanent) 'sale price' of '30% off'. Don't fall for this marketing scam!!
Even at '30% off' these duvets and pillows are outrageously expensive. I strongly advise the company to offer genuine sale reductions. i.e. their 'sale' prices should be their normal prices and their honest 'sale' prices should be 30% less than their current 'scam' sale prices. I believe that this would be so much more honest than their current marketing strategy.
My third observation is that the 'Edelweiss' pillows I have purchased from the company down the years have very annoyingly had different amounts of filling. In my opinion the company should ensure that their identical products have identical weights, and that the weight of all of their products is clearly displayed on their web site as part of the item description.

So I finally bought the Canadian goose down 13.5tog quilt that I looked at for so long. All I can say is ‘fabulous!’ I am a woman of a certain age, who had not slept properly for a few years. However, from the first night with my new quilt and matching pillows, I have slept like a baby for weeks now. Do not hesitate in buying this little bundle of luxury, you will not regret it.
