I ordered two sets of allegedly 100%…

I ordered two sets of allegedly 100% cotton sateen sheets on 4/23/22. CD charged $22 shipping and it took 3 weeks to get the order. These are the nastiest, roughest sheets I've ever experienced. They feel exactly like fine sandpaper. I even tried to wash a pair of the pillowcases to see if that helped--they only got rougher. Now CD wants $10.50 to send them back! No response to an email sent to customer service. SO DISAPPOINTED. NEVER AGAIN.

WORST COMPANY EVER

I love the products I have bought over the years from Cuddledown - 100% cotton blankets and duvet covers in vivid colors and prints. My only complaint about the actual products is that the duvet covers are white on the flip side - if I wanted white, I would buy white. I want the print. Literally every single other thing about Cuddledown is the worst I have ever encountered from a business: Shipping is unreasonably expensive, and returns are at your own shipping expense. It takes 1-2 months to recieve an order (if you ever actually get it). Their website is a mess - at one point recently it was down for over 2 weeks. There was an issue with my last order, placed 3 weeks ago, and it is still unresolved after 7 phone calls, confirming my info 2-3 times each call, promises that I would recieve it by a certain date (come and gone - no order received), told 2x that the order was being expedited and shipped express as a courtesy (didn't happen), told a Supervisor would fix the issue 3x, transferred incorrectly 7 times today and still could not reach the Level 2 Support which is who I was told could help, and no confirmation emails of their commitments. I had read all of the other reviews and decided that I could try to manage any challenges that might arise...but NO. It simply is not possible. I will be canceling my order.

I think the VIP program is a scam

I think the VIP program is a scam. After a purchase in August 2021, I never got a VIP welcome package despite 3 follow-up calls, and could never send in the receipts--yet a monthly charge appeared on my credit card bill in September. A long back and forth via phone w/Cuddledown and VIP-each telling me the other could resolve. The Catch 22 is never-ending. I have sent email complaints to both, and not doing the same on the web.

I have had nothing but trouble and…

I have had nothing but trouble and incompetence from this company. I like the products that they sell but if there is a problem, it’s not easy to fix. This used to be a great place to purchase bedding but they must of sold out to other people. I am done dealing with Cuddledown.

Its absolutely a disaster the telephone…

Its absolutely a disaster the telephone service 2 times I was calling trying to purchase a duvet for 750 Pounds and ask few technical question , twice times they say they will call me back , of course nobody call
I ask to talk with the manager ......no the manager don´t receive clients was the answer
I can´t imaging if we have a problem..hahaha
Worst company ever see ....

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered a featherbed which arrived in a box looked like had been run over by a truck and returned it. Got a refund of less than 1/4 of what should have been. Called and spent a great deal of time on the phone twice with customer (no)service and was promised a refund after demanding to speak to a supervisor on 9/23/21. To get refund 24-72 hours. It is now 10/1 and no refund. Avoid at the peril of your sanity!

Worst company ever

Placed order 08/23/21. Tried online verification. Canceled. Called CS, told card not authorized. Placed order again. Canceled for same reason. After 4 repeat orders over a month, and speaking to innumerable persons, was to be transferred to a manager but was sent to an unrelated vitamin company. I will be watching my card for billing. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

Bad product and even worse customer service

Some years ago I purchased the temperature regulating comforter. After one season of normal use, and one dry cleaning at a green cleaner, it started bunching up. I contacted the company. Nothing. I tried again a few weeks and then months later to ask them to stand behind their statements and glitzy website advertising. Nothing. I uploaded pictures to show that I was not inventing a story and posted a review on their website. Nothing. I wanted to buy quality and Made in the USA and got completely burned. I loathe these types of companies that simply think they can ignore you. In fact, they likely remove negative comments and only leave the glowing ones on their websites. I’ll continue to warn others because this is an expensive product. Disappointed and angry.

I needed to return a pillow that I ordered. It took me 5 days to receive from their customer service an address to ship back to. On top of that they made me pay for the return shipping at my cost due to their not including a shipping label in the pkg. like they said. Than they said that it can take up to 3-4 weeks to credit my credit card once they receive the pkg. They are a nightmare to deal with. Never again!

Beware a sneaky automatic subsription policy here.

I ordered sheets here then saw an additional charge from them months later that I'm sure I didnt add on.

The sheets I got were not even that good compared to the sheets I've gotten otger places. I will not buy here again.

Avoid Cuddledown

I ordered a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases. Cuddledown apparently ran out of the flat sheet and pillowcases, cancelling those. They did not contact me but proceeded to ship the fitted sheet. Obviously I did not want it! I returned it immediately and asked for a full refund (including shipping) since in my opinion I should have been contacted and would have cancelled the whole order. They refused and, between the original shipping and return shipping, the experience cost me almost $40. To add insult to injury, along with the return refund I found a $14.95 charge to my credit card for Cuddledown VIP that I did not ask for.

I placed an order on May 17 and…

I placed an order on May 17 and received confirmation. It is now June 5 and I called to find out why it showed as still processing. They asked me a bunch of questions about my creditcard and said I had to confirm all of these details. Didn't email me to let me know. Horrible customer service. I've been ordering from them for 20 years????

Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced

I purchased a $375 comforter in November, 2020. I like the comforter but there are too many feathers coming out of it. So I called Cuddledown and they said I could exchange it for a new comforter. They said they would mail me a return label with 10-14 days. I never got a return label. Since then I have called Cuddledown every 14 days and they say they'll send a label and they never do. I've elevated it to supervisors. Still no label. Three months of this and still no return label! Horrendous!

Cuddledown is a scam DON'T BUY

I ordered one item from CuddleDown and the company illegally subscribed me to their b. s. "v. i. p." service without my authorization. Not only was the enrollment involuntary they also provided no actual service in exchange for the monthly charges. They illegally charged me over $16.00 monthly. I called multiple times to remove myself from this program THAT I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR and yet they continued to charge me month after month. They finally released me from the scam after stealing a total $162.80 from my account over the course of 10 months, ALMOST A WHOLE YEAR! DO NOT ORDER FROM CUDDLEDOWN! It is a scam. They will rob you! Also the item I purchased was garbage quality made-in-China!

Shoddy badly stitched pillow cost £18.95 I sent 5 emails l was told they hadn't recieved any complaints l said how have you replied to emails you didn't recieve they avoided that question l sent photos of the pillow then deleted them l showed the bad stitching the snags l since unpicked and resewed the pillow l won't buy from them again lve bought other items to but that's it no more l will buy from a different company

Is this a scam ?

I ordered close to USD1,000 worth of bedding in Aug 19. It’s now Oct 18 and I’ve not received my order. My credit card has been charged. Placed a number of calls to customer service but no one could give me an idea what happened. They just said it’s been shipped and there’s no tracking number. I’m beginning to wonder if this is a scam. I’ve had high hopes given the positive reviews I read but now it seems that the bad reviews are warranted.

Not the place to buy goods for…

Not the place to buy goods for international shipping. I called before I placed my order which needed to ship to Costa Rica. Customer service said "yes we do", so I placed an order. Did not hear anything for 2 weeks. So I called. They never got the order as it went into their spam. Customer Service verified they had in fact received it, as an account was made in my name with correct shipping. CS said, place order again, so I did. I called to verify it was received right after placing it and they said, yes it was. I still got no verification of the order. Called 3x, finally CS in the USA (they outsource) said, they got it, however, they don't ship to Costa Rica. Asked to speak with International shipping manager, and Monique was conveniently unavailable. I found similar items elsewhere by companies that will ship international. They say they are into premium service, yet that was not my case.
