Complete scam. The sweater I ordered versus the item I received is an absolute joke. It doesn’t even resemble the photos in any way, shape or form. Do not purchase from here!

Ordered the asymmetric draped jumper in light grey, looks more like dirty white. Quality is subpar and looks more like a poncho. Doesn't quite look like the one the model is wearing. They say 100% money back guarantee and easy returns. Requested to return it, and here are their responses:
1. We can issue a 15% refund on your order, which will be applied directly to the total cost of the product. Additionally, you may keep the product as our gift to you. Feel free to consider giving it as a gift to your family or friends.
2. Alternatively, we can provide you with a gift card that is equivalent to 25% of the product cost. This gift card can be used for future purchases from our store, giving you the flexibility to choose an item that better suits your needs.
3. Please note that we do not provide return labels, and the shipping cost for the return will be shouldered by the customer.
Their return policy states that "they" will provide a return label.
They had the audacity to say I could keep the product as their gift to me, even though I paid for it. Of course I'm keeping it, they won't let you return it.
I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Doesn't sound good for them as AMEX checked their reviews while I was on the phone filing the complaint.
I am so disappointed
I am so disappointed! The swimsuit took almost a month to arrive. It's supposed to have only spandex and polyamide but this has 10% cotton. There's supposed to be a 1 inch elastic band in the top portion for bra support - this has NOTHING! The site is a complete lie!!!

Absolute scam! I received the wrong size so I decided i would rather return it and request a refund. I was informed I need to pay for the return shipping and they would only refund me 20% of the cost of the item. :(

RUN! Do not order from this company! I ordered two romper bathing suits as I was between sizes and planned on sending one back.
I never received any order or shipping confirmation and had to contact them to get that information. Finally, after 3 1/2 weeks I received my order and I was immediately disappointed. No support in the bust and no lining in the bottom. I felt like as soon as the bathing suit got wet EVERYTHING would be revealed. Also, there were no tags on the bathing suits.
I spent over a week emailing back and forth answering the same questions over and over. They also kept asking for pictures to better understand how they could "exceed my expectations."
Today I was told that since they moved their shipping and return operations to China they could not provide a return label. Instead, they could offer me a 15% partial refund or store credit of 25% of the original amount.
If a clothing company cannot afford to handle the returns process they do not need to be in business. This is not the customer's problem. I hope they go out of business.

I ordered two sweaters and received two fleece HUGE shirts. I ordered charcoal and black -- received a silver/light gray shirt and a black one. I wrote to request a refund and they offered 5% off my existing order and did not even acknowledge my request for a refund. I've since wrote back 4 times and no response. Very disappointing. I would not recommend doing business with Curvy Waves. Feels like a scam. $88 lost!

SCAM! Ordered two of the rompers for me and my sister....you could only wear them if you wanted your "ladies" to be showing because there is nothing in the suit to hold up your girls...just some flat pads and no elastic to hold anything in place. There is thin elastic around the waist but the top part has nothing that fits. Do not buy anything from this company. If you call the Customer Service line, they hang up. I'm telling everyone I know about this scam and I'm a teacher with lots of connections. Ya'll do the same and we'll cut into their profit margin.
Not following their own return policy
Product is extremely poor quality and took weeks to arrive. Immediately inquired about a refund after reviewing the refund policy on the website, which states “ To start a return, you can contact us at info [at] curvywaves [dot] com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.” despite following these steps, customer service gave me the run-around. They would take days to respond and then asked me twice for the reason for my return. Finally, over a week after requesting the return, they told me they do not offer return labels and that they “ recently relocated our shipping warehouse and returns department to our office in China” and it would be my responsibility to pay for shipping the product back to them. What a scam.

Just don’t! I am over this company all I want to do is return it and I can’t even do that. We will give u 5% off your order? Nope I can’t do nothing with what I bought. Then they say read the description, I did I still don’t like it.
Upset and disappointed customer
I ordered a swim suit romper from Curvy Waves on Facebook. I had seen great comments from people that had purchased one and was so excited to receive mine. It took almost 3 weeks to arrive. To my disappointment the suit did not fit in the top or bottom so I immediately inquired on returning it for a refund. I was ignored, given the “run around” for weeks. I emailed them at least 10 times asking about how I return my item for a refund before finally being told that their company is US based in California but their shipments and returns are done in China. They don’t give return labels and suggested I get another item at a discount or pay to send it back to China myself. No thank you. I paid almost $50 and have nothing to speak for it. I will never order from this company or others I see in Facebook. It was a complete disappointment.

I stupidly ordered $200 worth of swimwear before checking how trustworthy this website was. Normally I check, this time it slipped my mind. Now we are going round and round and round about how they won't refund but will offer 5% because "they stand by their online description". I don't care what you stand by, 5% off of $200 and I'm still expected to keep this poorly made swimsuit? Who makes a romper without lining?
Um no. This won't work. They're purposefully dragging their feet until post 30 day mark so they can say "sorry but not my problem", I know they are. It's obvious when they take days to issue a robotic, auto response.
They don't care about their bad reviews. Yay for China cheapies. I absolutely loathe this company.

Doubling down on most of the other reviews, this place is horrible to deal with. My order took forever to be processed and then delivered and when it got here it was after the trip I was planning to take it on. "Easy returns" don't apply to most things as advertised. Like another reviewer there is no way the romper I ordered is considered swimwear as the bottom of the shorts are completely open and would require an actual swimsuit bottom. 0/0 would not recommend.

I ordered a swim romper for a trip. Took forever to get here, and not in time for my trip. When it finally did show up, there were no tags attached, it wasn’t truly meant for swimming (unless you want your ‘bits’ hanging out), and the return address on the package was in New York. When I requested what I thought was a simple return, they gave me the oh so enticing options of A) a 50% store credit or B) 20% off the cost of what I ordered instead. When I said that I wanted to return it, I got some BS line about the company being US/Canada based, but their warehouse was just moved to China. I’d give less than one star if I could
Everything about my order was bad. Ordered the shark blanket in November. Email says it ships in 3 days, delivery in 2 weeks. It came mid January (too late to be a Christmas present like intended). Not only did it come too late, but it was falsely advertised and garbage quality. Pictures of it depicted separated legs so the wearer could walk in it, and holes in the fins for hands to go through. It had neither of these features and essentially was a cocoon death trap to wear. The return policy says they will provide a shipping label - also a false statement. They gave me some excuse that they “just” moved their warehouse from California to China (yeah…I'm sure that “just” happened…) and that all shipping costs would be shouldered by the costumer. That or I can get a measly 15% back. Complete garbage - never buying from here again.
