Bingo Event is random.. but great fun!
Went to a Bingo Event and found the format to be a really enjoyable one (even just for the bingo!) The combination of random event helped to instantly diffuse any potential awkwardness that might come along with the traditional speed dating format, and also just made it much more fun generally. Some nice, if random (hence the bonkers name!), prizes too! (e.g. a banana; a model car etc!) Affable fellow attendees who all seemed to also enjoy the novel format.

Very positive experience
I was initially hesitant to try again speed-dating after a negative experience couple of years ago. Nevertheless, I was very positively suprised. Firstly, the host was so much fun which made me feel at ease. The venue (at London Bridge) was absolutely fab. The turnout was great and I laughed so much. I'd definitely recommend DateinaDash.

A fun night of speed dating
I have had the opportunity to participate in speed dating events organized by this company on multiple occasions, and I have always found them very enjoyable. From selecting good venues to the actual speed dating process. The organizers create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere allowing you relax and be yourself at the event. If you're looking for a memorable night of speed dating, I highly recommend choosing them.

Amazing speed dating event
Went to a speed dating event in Shoreditch and had the best time. It was well organised and I had a lot of fun! The girls stayed at the table while the guys moved around every 5 minutes and 5 minutes was a good enough time to talk to someone! I stayed after and even tho I didn’t meet any guys I liked I made friends with a lot of the girls and had a great time! Will definitely be doing a speed dating event with this company again! Thankyou Rob for the event!

It was nice seeing people in real life (better than the dating apps). Well organised. Perhaps these kinds of things could have an ice breaker and I also think there should be one for 27- 35 year olds too.

THEY CANCEL AND THEY DONT WANT TO REFUND
They advertise as you will meet 200 singles in a party which is really untruth, they cancelled the day before the party after noon and they didn't even informed the venue the event was cancelled. No employee at the venue knew that this party was booked or going to take place. Therefore, certainly there was no proper booking and obviously that 200 people didn't exist either. I asked for a refund and they declined saying I should check my email at all times . So it is now my fault for not spotting their cancellation with such short notice. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform the venue that if someone turned up they informed it was cancelled. I went to one event before of this company and was incredibly boring. I still want my refund because other companies organizing this type of events always refund if they cancelled.

Firstly, Sara was refunded before this review was published. We do not decline refunds but we do offer to transfer guests to another event first. Unfortunatley this event was postponed due to a general lack of interest in this particular venue and age group. We did not sell enough tickets so we decided to cancel it a few days before the event. We did send an e-mail explaining this to everyone who had booked but unfortunately Sara did not check her e-mails and turned up to this event. We always asks guests to check their e-mails on the day of the event incase of any venue changes or cancellations. It is also very helpful if guests can provide a correct phone number when they sign-up as this is the preferred method of contact for us. Of course we informed the venue that the event would not be taking place but if you spoke to a bartender then the likelihood is they would not have known about the events that are going on that night. I am sorry to hear that you found the previous event you attended 'boring' which does make me question why you would book again but I do hope that you will give us another chance to leave you with a positive experience. DateinaDash is a blast! Attending their events was an absolute joy. The organizer is friendly and creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to connect with others. I highly recommend attending for a fun and memorable experience!

Cancelled four times in a row!
Oh dear ... this stretches back months!!
Booked for Richmond, 14th March. This was cancelled on the day "due to circumstances beyond our control".
Rebooked for Guildford, 3rd May. Cancelled the day before, this time "due to lower numbers than expected"
Rebooked for Singles Quiz Night in the City (Cornhill) for Friday 19th May ... cancelled on the day "due to lower numbers than expected" .... and apparently "will now be taking place on Friday 26th May"!
I wasn't going to be a mug and make any effort to get myself there for the evening of Friday 26th, as I knew what would probably happen. Sure enough, what did we get on Friday 26th May at 10:39am? "Unfortunately, we have not managed to confirm enough attendees for our Singles Quiz tonight so this event has now been cancelled ... []...We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused"
All the above communications were sent by email. Bear in mind that I've got two email addresses, and the one that is associated with my Trustpilot profile is not the same one that is associated with Date in a Dash. Never mind ... if D in a D shamelessly try to use this as a way of wriggling out of responsibility for this, then that will just show them up even more. They can find all the records of the events I've listed above, with exact dates etc., and they will see that they have done exactly what I've said, i.e. cancelled four times in a row.
Keep my money. I don't care! I feel sorry for you. You have sunk so low. Speed dating is obviously just old hat now, and you can't sustain your business. However, you could've found new ways of organising events. The quiz night might have turned out well if you'd signed up enough people, but why couldn't you sign up enough people?
Not good. Avoid this lot, people!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am sorry to hear that you had several cancelled events in a row. We do host approx 30 events a month but naturally some are cancelled when we do not have enough people. I'm not sure what you would like me to do but when I haven't got the numbers we cannot run the events. We have to wait until the day of the event to see if we get any last minute bookings so cancellations will unfortunately always be on the day. I will say that the Richmond event that was cancelled was a one off (we had the numbers to go ahead) but they had a wake in the function room and were unable to accommodate us (to my knowledge in 10 years of hosting events in Richmond this is the first one to be cancelled). Guildford is a brand new area for us so it will take a few months to get established before we can start running the events and this was to be expected (certainly from my perspective) so it's not a case of the event was cancelled because we don't have enough business it's just a brand new market we are entering and it will take time. I am not sure why you say 'You have sunk so low', if we don't have the numbers what do you want me to do? Speed Dating certainly isn't 'old hat', we had over 1,000 people go to one of our events in May. Obviously you do care about your money because you've left a war and peace review. I am more than happy to recommend you some events that will go ahead and then we can get you booked in and hopefully leave with a positive experience. I have attended a few now and I am really happy with the quality, organisation and calibre of dates that turn up. I would give the events 5 stars and a big thumbs up !!
