DAW Surveyors Bewertungen

I had a very positive experience with DAW Surveyors. The survey was thorough, and the detailed report helped me understand the property’s condition and the issues requiring attention. Professional and helpful service—highly recommended!

Prompt and reliable service. Excellent communication and correspondence.

Thank you!

We needed an expert witness report suitable for court at short notice after realising the reports we had previously commissioned did not meet the required format. After contacting several firms, DAW Surveyors managed to make time for us and completed the report within seven days.

They also identified additional issues that other experts had not mentioned. We really appreciated their thoroughness, professionalism and willingness to help under a tight deadline. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from both Dan & Emily. I wanted a personal service from a local company that knew the surrounding area in which I live. Property survey completed on time, follow up's and email communications very responsive and Dan happy to answer any ancillary questions that I had about my property. Would highly recommend as a very personal service from them both and a comprehensive report provided.

Would highly recommend Dan. He’s a brilliant surveyor, really knows his stuff and is always incredibly helpful and straightforward to deal with. He explains everything clearly and gives you practical, honest advice.

Great guy and very good at what he does.

DAW did a valuation survey and RICs level 3 survey for me. They were really efficient, quick to carry out the surveys and a pleasure to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend DAW Surveyors.

Brilliant service all round - from the first conversation with the team to booking the survey and receiving the comprehensive results. Very detailed Level 3 building structural survey, would highly recommend.

We had a Level 3 survey and a RICS help to buy valuation completed, and we were delighted with both!
The report is really thorough, and gives all the details we need.
Communication was excellent throughout too.

I’d have no hesitancy recommending DAW surveyors - they did a great job for us! Thank you

DAW quoted £810 including VAT for a RICS Level 3 Building Survey. The price covered a drone roof inspection, a market value assessment and a rebuild cost figure. Good value. Before paying, I wanted to be sure the drone was included, so I asked several times and made clear I would use a different surveyor if it was not. I was told the only problems they had met were near Heathrow. On that basis I paid the £810 up front and booked.

On the day, conditions were fine to fly: sunny, light wind, 16 degrees. Afterwards I was told the drone had not been flown because the property sat in a restricted zone near a naval base. The roof was inspected from the ground, so the rear of the chimney stack could not be seen. When I raised the missing drone inspection, I was referred to the Terms and Conditions and told they could not check flight restrictions before a visit. The estate agent who released the keys told me drones are flown on that street regularly without problem, and their logbook showed DAW were at the property for about 50 minutes. I would expect a Level 3 survey to take several hours for a three-bedroom Edwardian house.

I had lost confidence that the service I paid for had been, or could be, delivered. After looking into my consumer rights and the drone rules, I sent a formal letter requesting rescission of the contract and a full refund. The refund was paid in full.

I appointed another surveyor, who completed a detailed Level 3 survey and provided drone images of the roof and chimney.

I don't enjoy writing a review like this. I do it because I read every review I can find when I shortlist a company, and I value the ones that are specific and detailed.

We highly recommend DAW Surveyors. Emily was professional, helpful and communicative throughout - always responding to emails promptly.

Pricing was competitive and the survey was arranged quickly.

Daniel produced a brilliant, in-depth survey report and answered any questions promptly. The service provided we could not fault! We would not hesitate to use them again, in fact we did get Daniel to help us again when our first property fell through 😊

Thank you Daniel and Emily.

Dan and Emily were very thorough, efficient and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Used DAW for a survey on my first time purchase. Was extremely simple and easy to set up with all the information I could ask for provided. They booked me in quickly and the survey was completed without any problems. Survey report was thorough and easy to understand. Over all great communication, reasonable price and positive experience. Would definitely use DAW again should I need surveying in the future

Great survey report - we actually used them twice in quick succession and would recommend. The only area for improvement is communication on timeline for report post inspection. But nonetheless we were very happy with the service rendered.

We recently used DAW Surveyors for a RICS valuation for probate and couldn't be happier with their service. Communication was great throughout and the report was delivered when they said it would be. I would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend DAW Surveyors. Their Specific Defects Survey report was very thorough, and they were quick and responsive when we followed up with a few questions for our builder a couple of weeks later. Brilliant, straightforward service from start to finish.

Overall I was very happy with the communication and result of the survey report. It was detailed and showed clear findings where possible. The report is well structured and easy to follow with useful guidance/recommendations. I had an urgency and the report was issued before the usual timescale. Thank you Emily and Dan , for a great service.

I chose DAW Surveyors to conduct a Level 3 Building Survey and cannot recommend enough and have absolutely no regrets! They were very promt in responding to my request for a quote, which was incredibly well priced considering everything that's included in the survey and very pleased they included the use of drone pictures within the price (something that many other companies charge as an extra add on). Dan and Emily were extremely friendly, professional and were attentive and understanding to my requests! They kept me well informed of the process and the next steps. I never had to chase them and always felt reassured. The entire survey process was very smooth and had the report back extremely quicker (alot quicker than I expected). The report was very thorough, comprehensive, clear and easy to read and follow. It included all the information I needed. I'm so glad I chose DAW Surveyors! I highly recommend to anyone if they want a high quality service with a company that's very friendly, attentive, listens and understands your needs and a competitive price. Emily and Dan, thank you so much!

Very happy with the service and the survey done on the property we're purchasing in Surrey. Highly recommended.

Our L3 survey was expertly conducted. The report is comprehensive and detailed. We particularly like the pictures taken with the aid of a drone and the estimates given for areas that potentially require further investigation, maintenance and repair. We recommend DAW as a supplier.
