Absolutely wonderful holiday enjoyed it so much did not want to leave we just love the sight, it is central for travelling around Devon towns there is plenty to do on the family friendly sight. It is a clean attractive sight with the option of catering options, play areas and entertainment.

Arrived at DV around 12.00pm enjoyed a coffee in the boathouse taking in the great view! Checked in around 12.30pm to be greeted by a very pleasant receptionist called Helen, was told caravan might not be ready till 4pm but would call us when ready. She called at around 2.30pm to say our caravan was ready for us, we had booked a bargain offer holiday a few days earlier so did not know our accommodation only that it would be a van. We was so pleased with our caravan it was clean tidy with a decking and a partial view of the estuary a bit of wear and tear In places but that was to be expected due to age of van. We had Fish and chips from the takeaway very tasty a bit pricey but nice size and nicely cooked. The pool was great lovely clean changing rooms and kept very clean made the most of the early morning adult swim. A fully stocked shop on site which wasn't to overpriced for a convenience store on site. This is a full facility site with play area, games room, and nightly entertainment, but not to big a site to loose its peace and tranquility. Great staff great views and will definitely be back. We was booked in for 4days leaving on the 26th July... We left early evening on the 25th July to miss early morning traffic our next visit will be longer to enjoy this site more!

Stayed for 4 nights in a caravan which was away from the main area's as I am a carer and needed some peace and quiet and that is exactly what I got. Was really close to the river and I could hear the laughter of the other residents in the main section but it was faded and did not disturb me. The Caravan was pleasantly decorated, clean and had everything in there you could need. Did not attend any entertainment sessions nor eat at the Boat House so cant comment on them sorry. This is a nice clean Holiday destination and loved every minute of it.

I love this place and it would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the constant mix up's at meal times.
Our chalet though clearly old and with a shocking view was spotless and served perfectly well as a base. Before we went I requested one that was as near to the facilities as possible because I struggle to walk and they did the very best they could for which I was grateful.
As always, the view from the park was amazing and as usual the staff were super friendly.
Meal times were a mish- mash of good and bad. I am a vegetarian that doesn't eat meat substitutes so I had the choice of beans, egg and fried bread. Personally I don't feel that's good enough. Where were the Hash Browns, tomatoes and mushrooms? A selection of three items every single breakfast is a very poor offering and most disappointing. Evening meals were again a bit hit and miss. The fish and chips were lovely as always and on the whole the mains were ok. The starters were pretty awful. I ordered pate and it arrived with un-toasted bread and no butter. I ordered egg mayonnaise, it arrived as a whole egg on a plate with a blob of mayonnaise and toast, a very odd combination. In the end we ordered something off the menu that you had to pay a supplement for because the starters were so bad, we shouldn't have had to do that really.
When we ordered sides they were disappointing too. It advertised 8 onion rings, one day we had 6 the next we had 5. Someone ordered garlic bread at £3.50, one slice arrived which we did complain about.
Puddings were always wrong, whenever we ordered an adults ice cream they send out a child's portion. Hot puddings arrived with cold custard. Why didn't we keep moaning until they got it right? To be honest we wouldn't have stopped complaining the whole time and it would have been an embarrassment. We're not like that and don't like to complain, we just expect things to be right.
I probably wouldn't go for half board again because I felt a bit like a second class citizen as we had to wait a long time for eggs to be cooked while those that had paid separate for their breakfasts had them served before us. I do expect the same level of service particularly as half board are your "bread and butter" customers who are going to eat there every day and therefore are more likely to buy drinks too.
Going back to other things I have to say that our bedding was deliciously white and crisp and a pleasure to sleep in and sitting on the terrace was a great joy.
I think it's time chalets were upgraded so that you don't have to pay separately for electricity, it's an inconvenient and dated concept.
My daughters family stayed in a fabulous caravan with breathtaking views from the balcony but alas as a dog owner these options are not available to me which is a shame. I understand that not all dog owners are respectful but the majority of us are and I think the £25 extra a visit I have to pay for the dog would more than cover the insurance should they do any damage.
I would go back but I'd love to have somewhere spectacular with a view and I wouldn't pay for half board.

Excellent park staff very friendly and helpful , beautiful scenery , food is good . Very good with children's entertainment, shows are good . Caravan was very nice and comfortable .

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay with our 2 little ones. It was fab and would definetly recommend it and would book to go again. Plenty for the kids of all ages to do. Staff are great with the kids and really helpful. Facilities are brilliant. Just what you want for a lovely relaxing break away.

We were a group of three aged 5, 46 and 79! We all enjoyed our week at Devon Valley which suited all our age groups. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was varied and good value, the takeaway very useful!
DV is in a beautiful setting, quiet and very green with the river on the doorstep! Another plus is that Teignmouth, Torquay and Exeter are all just a short drive away.
We all hope to visit again in the future and will recommend it to all our friends.

First time going to Devon Valley and will definately go again. Fantastic accomodation and park. Nothing was too much for the staff. The kids entertainment was brilliant as was all the facilities. Would definately recommend.

Fantastic holiday! The staff are so friendly and amazing!! They really made our holiday one of the best we have ever had. View is fantastic!! Food was great lots to do. If you go make sure you look up the smugglers tunnel (2min drive) Sheldon and visit the secret beach. What a perfect location to stay!!!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend break to the Devon Valley Holiday Village. Ideally located , just far away from town to make it a quiet break but close enough for the town and links to other villages.Reception was nice and staff really helpfull and knowledgeable, Our caravan was ready even though we were early so we could settle in and then head out for a drink in the pub, again great choices in drink and food and staff really nice. Sat outside with drinks looking across the river just perfect, couldn't have dreamt of a better location.The caravan was perfect for us and was better than i expected.Spotlessly clean and smelt lovely and clean.Had a great nights sleep but i must say the mattress was a bit firmer than i would like, but not an issue.We left the car by the caravan and opted to either walk or use the local buses, and buses leave regularly and are close to the park.I loved this park its one of the best i have stayed in and would love to go back soon.Perfect break

Great location. Excellent service. Comfortable & clean accommodation. Great entertainment for all ages (if that’s your thing) or piece & quite if you choose. I highly recommend.
Tiny quibble - the mugs provided were so small ! Next time we will take our own.

Have been to Devon Valley quite a few times over the years we had one bad experience last year which involved bad holiday makers but this was resolved very quickly by the team members.
Visited last weekend and had chalet big disappointed as was really dirty no bed linen left and fridge freezer door full off ice and broken BUT once I went to see reception this was sorted out straight away which was amazing 😉 well done Devon Valley you turnEd this around and made it a much better stay.
Will come back but hopefully get a caravan 😉

Just returned from another weeks stay at Devon Valley. Nice to see it hasn't changed in the last 20+ years we've been coming. Lovely way to spend my birthday. Staff were really helpful and quick to help moving us to a different chalet when we had a problem with our first accommodation at the beginning of the week. Also lovely to see some friendly faces back on the entertainments team. Sam was really friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome into the park. Great entertainer who is a real asset to devon valley and the entertainments team. Fantastic location and looking forward to returning in September!

Excellent service, very clean. Great restaurant food and value for money. Very peaceful. Surrounding areas I.e Dawlish warren, Teignmouth and Torquay only a 10 15 minute drive away.

Fantastic 7 night stay from 5th July. Stunning location, absolutely spotless accommodation and friendly knowledgable staff always available to help. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go again!

We have just had the most amazing week here at Devon Valley.
Our accommodation was a Gold static with the most amazing view across the Estuary, our accommodation was exceptionally clean and well maintained and offered everything we needed to have a comfortable week.

The entertainment on site is fantastic and offers something for everyone with the staff being friendly and engaging with the guests.

The facilities are all clean and well maintained and there is plenty to do for families or if you just want to sit and relax the views are amazing.

The holiday village is ideally placed with so much to do locally off site if you wanted to venture out.

We came to Devon valley pre season starting for the summer and yet we felt that the work ethic and enthusiasm of the staff even when faced with only a handful of guests at the end of the evenings was brilliant.

Overall we can’t fault this site and we will be returning.

This was a Sun Holiday package. Stayed in an Otter Bronze Caravan, which was lovely & clean. I have mobility issues & asked to be placed nr the dog exercise area & have a shower. These were both provided & as DV is a very hilly site, they made a big impact on my stay. The site was peaceful and my accommodation was in a beautiful location. Check in & out was great & the booking team very efficient, helpful & cheerful. I never visited the club house or restaurant, so am unable to comment on these. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay & think I will return next year.

Just returned from Devon Valley after 4 day stay. The accommodation was absolutely dire. We stayed in a chalet which we paid an update for. The floor was sinking and the entire place was damp. A tree was probably 6 feet away from the chalet entirely blocking out the daylight and any sunshine so we were in perpetual gloom. Also it was shedding millions of seed pods all over the decking and into the chalet. There was also no where to put a chair that would have been in sun around the chalet.
We updated to half board on arrival and I have to say the food was less than average. They ran out of corn flakes, brown bread, prawn cocktail etc. The floor of the restaurant was sticky all the time, as were many of the tables. Also saw chefs handling meat without plastic gloves and handling bacon, sausages etc, putting chips on plates. Oh yes, we had a constantly barking dog next door as it was left for many hours alone.
On a positive note the location is superb and views of the River Teign and surrounding countryside wonderful.
