Really positive experience with my consultation. The psychologist was very kind, patient and reassuring, and made me feel comfortable throughout. I felt listened to and supported and came away feeling more confident about the assessment process.

From my initial free consultation with Rebekah I felt completely at ease, the whole process was explained thoroughly to me and a run through of the symptoms and problems I had been experiencing were completely validated and I felt Rebekah was so kind and understanding and she gave very sound explanations about my symptoms and why these things can be a struggle for people with ADHD. I knew from this point that I wanted to pursue my ADHD journey with Diverse Diagnostics. I had booked my assessment which was a few weeks later and was conducted by Dr Dantanarayana. Dr Dantanarayana was very friendly, non-judgemental and very understanding of everything I had told him, I received diagnosis at the end of my assessment and was alerted on the next steps. It was a very fast turnaround between diagnosis and receiving my diagnostic report, which Diverse Diagnostics ensured I was happy with the content before sending it to my GP. The communication in the aftermath was absolutely outstanding and I was offered follow up care whilst awaiting commencement of my medication titration. Overall, it was a very smooth process with very fast but also thorough turnaround. I would recommend Diverse Diagnostics to anyone seeking neurodivergent assessments and can’t fault a single thing throughout my experience.

(Internal/Diverse Diagnostics) I'm not certain if this is all the staff I've been in contact with at Diverse Diagnostics, but so far they've all been a credit to Diverse Diagnostics and the wider profession. They answer my queries and concerns, clarified concerns before I decided on pursuing a diagnosis and remain helpful points of contact:

Dr Alan Cross, Consultant Psychiatrist (ADHD Assessment) - I still need to do a full review of Dr Cross alone, but during the assessment he was patient, professional, and thorough in his assessment, able to offer explanations of symptoms and common experiences. Going into the assessment I wasn't 100% convinced I suffered from what was being assessed. I brought a family member to corroborate symptoms/experiences from childhood, offer additional information. Both myself and the family member each filled out a thorough questionaires in advance which Dr Cross was able to go through the results with us alongside a family medical history.

Dr Szymon Zimirski, Consultant Psychiatrist (medication reviews) - since my diagnosis came with a medication recommendation, Dr Zimirski has conducted my medication initiation and subsequent reviews. During these he has been diligent, patient, friendly and honest. Due to family medical history, he did the right thing and requested I have blood tests done before initiating medication. During reviews he has been a great resource to have. Eventually, I would hope to transition to GP Shared Care. If this isn't possible, I'd be happy to stay with Diverse Diagnostics and Dr Zimirski.

Upsides:
- Credentials: HIS Regulated, Accepted by NHS & HSE | GMC & IMC Registered Consultant-Psychiatrists.
- Assessment Diagnosis thoroughness: able to walk me through what I need for the appointment, or what would be handy to have (e.g. a person who knew you from childhood who could corroborate/offer additional info). I was uncertain whether certain documents would help. DD staff were able to attach documents to my files for review by assessor (consultant psychiatrist). Following diagnosis staff offer an aftercare call to go through outcome with you.
- Staff: friendly, professional, proactive, patient.
- If I require appointment reschedules they're able to offer to explore additional availabilities.
- Local organisation: I've heard that it can be better to have a clinic based locally as opposed to elsehwere in the country. DD are based in Bearsden, Glasgow, which when eventually attempting Shared Care with the NHS may be more helpful. Additionally, they are credited by HIS which is relevant for the Scottish based patients.
- Ethics: my only concerns have been from the stories I hear about edge-case clinics in the news where everyone is getting a diagnosis for this. In no uncertain terms have staff been pushy, insisting, selling me on anything, etc. There are options available. Staff can help explain what these are, help clarify any follow-up queries, offer additional psychoeducational resources. As far as I can attest to my interactions, the staff and their consultant psychiatrists have came across as you would hope if you were uncertain about symptoms about getting a diagnosis and if recommended what treatment options are available, such as medication/therapy.

Downsides:
- Costs: I have no private health insurance. Have to pay out of pocket and is a bit expensive. However, if you're recommended medication & stabilised on it medication review meetings become less frequent unless you need it. Consequently, costs come down.
- Website/fees: fees of individual items (e.g. Assessments/Medication Reviews) are available. However, could be helpful to have a monthly estimator/calculator/tool to visualise monthly or recurring costs. (DD staff are helpful at explaining cost breakdowns in advance of committing to anything).
- Although financing options are available, the interests rates were a bit steep for me (might not be a DD problem so not going to hold it against them).

5/5 stars because downsides I've listed might not bother other people.

Excellent team, all staff members are both knowledgeable and understanding to the needs of a neurodivergent person. From my family member researching the best clinic to discuss assessment to having medication reviews and receiving my prescription via a signed for Royal Mail Delivery this is a fine tuned facility that is supporting many individual's.

I had my free 15-minute consultation with Robyn at Diverse Diagnostics, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. From the very beginning, she was so easy to speak to and incredibly validating of my feelings, experiences and concerns.

Seeking an ADHD diagnosis can feel like such a vulnerable thing to do, especially when you’ve spent so long questioning and trying to make sense of things. Robyn made me feel completely comfortable, listened to and understood, with absolutely no judgement.

So far I've had the 15 min consultation with Cara and it was fantastic. Considering it's only 15 mins they made sure they listened to everything I wanted to say, answered all my questions thoroughly, and explained everything so clearly. I appreciated that they said they'd put everything we'd discussed in writing too and that was received very soon after the call. Any emails were promptly replied to and i just felt so comfortable and happy with every interaction with Cara. I'd highly recommend 😊

My recent real lived experience with DiverseDiagnostics! Awfull experience with this company, ongoing . No care or thought given to the communication needs of the neurodivergent people , children and adults, that they are diagnosing and starting on medication. Im 50 years old . I have never experienced a company, especially not an ethical health care provider actually abusing me in every sense. I feel its important I share this information. THEY DISCHARGED me without warning care , thought or aftercare. They were not happy at me saying out loud during communication that the way the choose to communicate with me was the hardest for me . I was using food banks to pay my medication,Diverse Diagnostics were aware of this whole time !this was my experience for whole year while They took highest possible price route for me at every point of my experience. When I found out that another private company provided same service for 6 × less price if you could actually believe that price difference could exist . When I drew this to their attention on call . They waited just over a week to get bk to me . Then they dismissed me as patient in the most awfull insensitive way causing great stress and well heartbreak really , I had stupidly trusted them .FEEL ABUSED& VIOLATED IN EVERY WAY BY DIVERSE DIAGNOSTICS. IN ACTUALL SHOCK AT THERE TREATMENT OF ME! HOPE IT SAVES SOMEONE 🙏 😌 so Diverse Diagnostics as you can see have responded to my review with a large printed piece of txt that implies I was abusive , a very clever way of making sure this negative review of their care of me or lack of care will be unbelieved . Yet again Diverse Diagnostics a massive failure to take neurodivergence needs into consideration when treating or communicating with your neurodivergent patients . Im so lucky I have support right now . Ive had to reach out for it after your companys treatment of me . Now your trying to suggest , publicly on trust piolet that I was abusive ? TRIED TO REARRANGE THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, INITIALLY THE CLINICAL CARE ADVISOR WAS RELUCTANT TO HELP, BUT HAD GREAT RESPONSE AND ASSISTANCE FROM SOPHIE

I made my initial appointments based around my work commitments at the time. When this changed Emily went out of her way to ensure we could find a solution to a tricky scheduling situation. Excellent customer service.

Myself and Paul recently spoke with Dr Imran, Toni, Abby and Caitlyn after I became extremely distressed following an ADHD/ASD course that brought up a lot about both myself and my daughter. In one of the most overwhelming moments of my journey, this incredible team responded with a level of compassion, clarity and professionalism that genuinely grounded me.

They listened with patience, reassured me with kindness, and helped me begin to understand the complex overlap between ADHD and ASD in a way that felt safe, human and deeply supportive. Their willingness to step in urgently, without hesitation, showed me once again why Diverse Diagnostics has been such a constant source of strength.

Throughout my entire neurodivergent journey, there has never been anything too big to ask of this team. They consistently go above and beyond, offering expert guidance, emotional understanding and unwavering reliability. Their dedication has made an enormous difference to both my confidence and my ability to navigate this path for myself and my daughter.
