Very up to date with lots of useful bits even for experienced developers

I just finished taking a microservices course taught by Julio Casal and I am thoroughly impressed. Julio's teaching style is engaging and effective, he was able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. The presentations were well-prepared and visually appealing, making the material easier to understand. I came away from the course with a comprehensive understanding of the subject and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in this area. Julio is truly a gifted teacher, and it was a privilege to learn from him.

Great content, useful details and presented in a step-by-step manner. Easy to rewatch too... since very few unnecessary words are spoken.

I have not completed the course, but I have been extremely satisfied with the course thus far.

The content quality is great. Although, the media player utilized in the course can be improved.

The instructor provides multiple options for discussion/help and responds back in a timely manner.

The instructor provides lesson scripts, roadmap, and lecture handouts which is very helpful to reference.

While searching for course on microservice's I couldn't really find any decent ones (well some but nothing compared to Julio's), I really could not believe what he had put together (I thought this is too good to be true), so after reading through what was involved I went for the ultimate version to learn everything there is to know. He has put so much effort into this course, its very well put together. The tech, the support, the guidance, his roadmaps, everything really its second to none. Do not hesitate getting this course you will learn so much. The ultimate course will take time to complete but its really worth it. Looking forward to his next course when that comes out sometime early next year (I'll be purchasing for sure).

This is the best course anyone can find around the web. It’s based on the C# and Asp net core. The course teaches end to end system on micro service. The tutor has a knack of teaching complex subject easily. If someone wants to learn the distributed system practically then it’s a course to go. The instructor implements everything from scratch and refactor for the azure cloud stack use case. You will get to learn on: Synchronous, Asynchronous messaging, event driven architecture, fault tolerance, distributed transaction, authorization, nuget packages, docker, kubernetes, service bus, api gateway, certification, cicd, logging, tracing, monitoring, key vault and many more. I want anyone to get the course and follow along with the tutor. Do not just watch. You will learn a lot.

Instructor was very good. There was a lot of content to cover and overall he did a very good job of explaining why you are doing each step. You will defiantly learn a lot with this course and get a good understanding of Micro Services. My only nit picks are personal preferences and how we code.

Course is a little out dated but I knew that going into the class. As I was going through each section I converted everything to .Net Core 6 with no startup.cs file, just using the new standard of program.cs only and upgraded to the latest packages to match.

Would have preferred a way to have everything in a solution and used a full blown IDE like Visual Studio or Rider, but I do get why each micro services was its own repo, to handle the CI/CD process. I actually used Rider on my MacBook and created a solution and made each micro service a project with its own repo to keep it together and make it easier going between projects. I also would have preferred using Azure Dev Ops Repo instead of GitHub since there is no way my company would allow me to store our code in GitHub. It seemed strange using Azure to host the Kubernetes cluster, secrets, Docker Container Images and such but not use it's repo.

Overall I am glad I took this course. One of my main confusions was all the pieces of IdentityServer and although the implementation here is small, the way it was done made it much easier to understand the pieces needed to use IdentityServer and how to modify it.

I know the instructor is looking at making an updated course, when that is release I will definitely consider taking it as well.

Julio's precision, structure of the entire curriculum is just impressive. The patience demonstrated and level of detail provided at all times is humbling.
Everyone's knowledge bucket is different, for me coming from .net MVC architecture this was the perfect curriculum to get situated with microservices and the related new tech.
While the road ahead for me is still long, Julio, thank you so much for making it far less overwhelming! I look forward to new modules, keeping up with your posts.

Training course that really help to increase knowledge and allow to créate micro services that fit correctly into IT environment. As Freelance, this course is absolutly mandatory !

The course is complete. It has a lot of exciting information. Now I have a better understanding of where, when, and how to use them.

Unbelievable amount of information that completely helps one understand from scratch the true power of microservices. There's everything you'd need encapsulated into one amazingly well planned out course.
Julio and others are quick to offer help whenever someone gets stuck.
Updates are constantly made to address breaking changes.

Overall course is good. It covers each topic in depth. Highly recommended for a beginner in microservices. The only suggestion is to include more logging and messaging related (Kafka specifically) topics

Over the years, I have heard the concept microservice architecture but never understanding the full meaning of it. Julio does an amazing job teaching the course from start to finish, there is no magic through out the course as he explains all the topics in details, give the most simplistic explanation possible with many different complex scenarios. I have learned new techniques, best code practices and tons of new tools throughout the course. Julio always responsive anytime I have questions.

The best course about microservices. Very simple and clear explanations of difficult topics. I'm glad I bought it.

I have been developing games for not too long and this course has helped me learn both a new technique and to grasp a more complete overview on how to implement a complete app, from back to frontend.
I am still having issues understanding correctly how to properly use tools like Docker or MassTransit, but this tools are a learning path on their own and this videos have sure helped me get to see how they work and understand the fundamentals behind their functionality.
Lastly, Julio is a great teacher who is very willing to help if the project has issues. Thanks a lot, Julio!
