Kilkenny to Dublin bus . Don't get this bus if you need to be on time for anything and save yourself phoning customer care because they don't answer.
Absolutely no air on the bus,disgusting, my wheelie bin smells nicer.

The drivers are very courteous and drive really well.The TFI app is usually accurate.The frequency has improved.

TFI Transport for Ireland really? Yesterday 25/6/2025 waited from 3.50 until 5.20pm in Swords main street at Stop 3678 for a 102 bus to Portmarnock. 3 busses disappeared off the app. 1st said due in 9mins but never arrived at the stop and the following two just disappeared off the app. A number of elderly people waited footsore and weary with no shelter from heavy showers or seats to rest. This is a non service! Totally unacceptable. How can a transport company leave people stranded for nearly two hours with 3 bus no shows and call itself .... Transport for Ireland?

I was helped by the gentleman who worked for the bus company at the weekend. Terry and two of his colleagues assisted me to getting on the right bus as the Dublin express had miss informed me of Their timetable.

These gentleman helped a very stressed lady get on the right bus to the airport at 2am.

Reason #1 why I want to leave Ireland: Dublin Bus. At this point, it’s not public transport — it’s a public guessing game. I’ve genuinely considered starting therapy because of it. One minute there’s no bus for 30 minutes and the next, two show up like they’re on a date.
My absolute favourite moment? Realising that a 15-minute drive somehow becomes a 2-hour odyssey involving 4 different buses and a small existential crisis. The city is so badly connected, it feels like someone designed the routes by throwing spaghetti at a map. It’s a shame as for a capital! If there’s ever a protest, sign me up — I’ve been here 3 years and the only thing that’s changed is my blood pressure.

Look Dublin Bus is the best in Europe.
They even run a fantastic night bus service and their buses are big warm and very comfortable. The staff are caring too.

If I could give less stars, I would. Incredibly unreliable, I have spent the last 2/3 years using the same route and constantly in the last year have resorted to reporting late buses, no-show buses etc. in the hope that something would change. The majority of people I spoke with didn’t care, after many calls they eventually opened a case to investigate the constant delays. After weeks of no contact, I found that the case had been closed with no investigation. Dumbfounded, I have decided to resort to a much more financially crippling option and simply get my drivers licence so that I don’t have to deal with the disappointment of being late or the annoyance of being insanely early every where I go.

I put my hand for the bus to stop once and the bus driver didn't stop. So when it came closer I put it again and then he stopped very far away somewhere where I couldn't get into the bus and then started swering at me with no reason.
He was also very late.
Very disrespectful honestly. Not happy with the service.

When I was running to catch my bus I was out of breath and the bus driver told me to say thank you so I did then he was going on about how rude I am and how shocked he was then when I went to my seat I’m not 100% sure what happened but the bus driver didn’t let a man get off even though he pressed the stop button and told the bus driver he wanted to get off the bus moreover when a old lady put her hand out at the bus stop to stop the bus he just drove by mind you the bus was not full;I am very disappointed in the bus drivers behaviour; so you people know it was bus 3815 at 14:15 27th of may 2025

Worst service ever bus is N4 supposed to be there for 15 to 30 min but I literally waited for More than one hour for the bus it's worst service hope officials may follow up. #Wotst Dublin bus service

I was on a Dublin Bus today a 27 to be EXACT and i had the WORST expiernece EVER first i got on the bus and the bus driver let 1 YOUNGE girl named nevaeh radford on for free!!!!! then we got to the odeon and he GOR OFF THE BUS and ran across the road🤔 after 5 minutes. he came back???

The 70 to DUNBOYNE is the worse service that’s when it turns up ..DUNBOYNE has exploded in population with lots more houses but still only has 1 bus every hour which is ridiculous…the amount of time the bus doesn’t turn up
Is unacceptable…my son finished work in town tonight at 8pm had to wait just off pearse st fir 8.40 pm bus which did not turn up ..he had to stay at stop till 9.40 ..absolutely disgraceful service..bus service in Ireland is disgraceful

I’d give 0 if I could. Buses don’t stop at bus stops (not even full!), are delayed or don’t come at all and don’t stick to the timetable. Embarrassing! I often have to get taxis as can’t rely on buses to reach my destination on time, even if I leave early. They also start and brake very sharply. Embarrassing! Dublin is the worst capital city in terms of public transport. It’s just horrible, frustrating and unreliable. No wonder people here prefer to drive!

Another day late at work. Cannot understand the people in charge of public transport still keep their jobs. Route 151 running low and late... when it runs

Ghosts buses that never arrive. I've never seen such an uneffective and mediocre service in any other capital city of the world. It's just pathetic!

Shit service. Was waiting 40 minutes with an elderly couple on the side of the road while 4 “not in service” jobs drove past. Shame on yous.

My car broke down yesterday so had to depend on Dublin Bus from Skerries to get me to work at the Airport this morning.
It arrived at 6.15am exactly on time (I was panicking since last night!) and the driver was absolutely lovely and friendly. Bus was spotless.
I even had time to get a coffee before work!
As a footnote, the scenery along the coast was breath taking!

Possibly the worst thing ever, is meant to follow traffic as it’s on public roads and then decides to pull in and wait for ten minutes at bus stops to get the bus on a time schedule which should be based on public traffic and then will get caught in actual traffic later and then the bus will be behind schedule, this is just one of the latest things the bus is going which so painful to sit in especially when the next stop is yours. I can’t describe how awful Dublin bus is, this is aside from the not showing up on time never being on schedule and going 10km and going 10km/ph when it needs to slow down because again there is no traffic so it’s going slow on purpose. I honestly can’t ask Dublin bus to stop doing this, it’s a public transport that doesn’t follow a rail so should be able to follow general traffic but instead bus drivers are told to pull into stops for 5/10 mins at a time or slow down at green lights and wait for it to go red so they can kill some time. Bus drivers are being reprimanded if they don’t catch up to the schedule but it makes no sense considering it follows general traffic and makes everyone hate the bus
