Possibly the worst tan company of have ever seen. Only in Ireland could the bus system be so messed up and awful. As I am writing this I am waiting for a 47 bus which comes once every hour except the bus hasn’t arrived ten minutes after is scheduled departure time. What Orestes me even more is I am about 2 stops away from where the route starts so there is absolutely no excuse for the bus to not turn up. This is a constant experience using this public embarrassment of a service. There is a lot of. Money to be made by a private bus company if they decide to operate in Ireland because anyone with any loyalty to this disgrace of a service as an idiot

It has to be the worst public transport in Europe. Buses always late, or just don't show up. As if drivers are trained to be aggressive while driving. It's an absolute joke.

It's like they hand pick only the biggest knobheads in their hiring process. The signposted times are always and the buses always vanish. The only thing you can rely on is that the driver will be horrible to you.

Dublin bus is the worst bus company with violence staff been employed. The 140 bus employee hitting a child so hard. He needs to be sacked. Charged and removed for ever been any where near a child. That’s Dublin bus for you. Bus route 140.

Not you waiting as an idiot on a fresh 5am wintery Saturday to go to work and being ghosted by a transport company, again. You can trust nobody love.

Worst service, every Friday waiting for the bus 11 who never comes 2 to 3 scheduled buses didn't show up waist of time and stay in cold shit service

BRING BACK THE 17!!!! I was riding 74 and I couldn’t BELIEVE the fact it turns white church and then Glen more park road and THEN proceeds go around a round about and the whole thing again!!!! This has a mistake. The walk from the end of glenmore road to the top of white church road is about a ten minute walk. Why is a big fat Dublin bus turning down this road? Completely unnecessary and unacceptable. There could children playing in the street. The stupid act wastes at least 5minutes of a journey home. Take ONE HOUR on the 74 to get from terenure to dundrum. The 17 took 15. Cop on this is a joke. I will not be riding the 74 again EVER. I’ll be sticking to a classic GOOD bus like the 15a. Ridiculous. BUMPS ARE HORRIFIC. Bus driver slow at driving. How do they manage to fly and crash down after every bump in the road but still go so slow. I will not tolerate this any longer.

Waited at Aston Quay for 40 minutes waiting for bus 145 to Bray, 2 buses showing in “real-time” never showed up! How difficult is it to have the app give accurate information? Surely each bus has a GPS??

I’m on one of the most busy lines of the dublin bus and I’ve waited 30+ minutes for a bus that is supposed to come every ten minutes 5 times in the past week, the reliability is absolutely awful, i don’t know how many times i’ve been late to venues I leave 30 minutes early for purely due to the bus being unreliable

Bus stop 2721. A bus is supposed to pass at 1:11 pm. It doesn’t. Then TWO buses arrive at 1:20 pm, almost ten minutes late. The stop is crowded, and everyone is complaining. This is complete disrespect. Is it so hard to stick to the schedule you set? Why do two buses arrive together? This is the most incompetent service in the world—just look at the reviews online. If we had an honest government, they would have already stepped in to manage this company.

Nothing worse than using the TFI app to plan a journey with Dublin Bus

Last night Tuesday 12th November 2024, I had to be in Dublin city centre at 8PM. Arranged to get a number 37 at my local stop which was showing to arrive at 1920. I was at the stop at 1920, then at 1921 the bus disappeared off the app and as far as I was concerned, it became one of the many "Ghost Buses"
OK, I understand operational issues can affect everything, but just disappearing off the app makes no sense leaving customers stranded

I waited in the freezing cold for the next 37 which was to arrive at 1940, but it was 200 before it arrived, leaving me in the city at 2045 ... so much for using public transport, absolutely unreliable service

I can't praise highly enough the Dublin Bus driver on the C4 bus this morning

I got on the bus at the stop just before the M50 slip road northbound

Got the last bus on Wednesday night on 23/10/24. The bus driver said hurry up it the last bus, proceeded to close the door on my arm and laugh. I’ve never left a negative review anywhere but this man was disgusting. Fire him

If there was a way to rate it as a negative, I would. Hands down the worst public transport service anywhere in Europe for a major city. Utter garbage and zero accountability!

I'm at the bus stop for the 37 Castleknock bus, and 3 buses have already been cancelled at 7:30 in the morning. This is absurd for the people who pay to use the bus. Every day at least 3 buses on the 37 Castleknock bus line are cancelled. Dublin bus is horrible

Where do I even begin…
It all started last night. I was done work around 7 and patiently waiting for the bus. It comes in about 7 mins no problem with that! HOWEVER, we only made it two stops before the bus lights started to flicker. The bus stopped at a traffic light and all lights turned off and the engine would not turn on anymore. The bus driver was empathetic when asking everyone to get off so he could call someone to get it fixed. Nothing was done for the people that had to get off, no bus was sent to replace this one which was full. Everyone had to go to the closest bus stop which was at the end of the quays. The C1/C2s that get to the end of the the quays at any time of the day tend to be full and there was simply no room for anyone to get on. Everyone was just kept waiting and I had to get two extra buses to get home, a journey that should have taken me 40 minutes lasted over two whole hours. Absolutely disgusted!!!!
This was followed by this morning where I was supposed to open my shop at 9:30 and was waiting at my stop at 8am to get in early. A bus was scheduled for 8:05 which got cancelled at the very last minute when everyone was waiting at the stop. This was followed by another bus scheduled for 8:20 showing up 20 minutes late, again with no warning of the delay until the last minute before the bus was due. It’s a joke to have this sort of public transport in Dublin especially in areas where people frequently travel into town from. Dublin bus truly deserves 0 stars for punctuality scheduling and service.
