I used to love Duda but since they removed their live chat support for lower tiered plans I cannot recommend it any longer. It was always a bit clunky but overall it was super versatile and easy to use for a non-techy, but without live chat support the clunkiness is too much of an issue to wait 1-2 days for a response by their email support. If you're getting a plan with live chat then I'd say go for it, otherwise don't bother - you'll just end up frustrated.

Scammers, I cancelled one month ago and they unpublish the site but keep taking the money. Also don't get fooled those websites are not responsive at all.

I’ve used a lot of web builders over the year, with Wix being my go to. I’ve noticed over the last year or so Wix has become very sluggish so I tried out Duda. I created my new site in a few hours, unbelievably quick compared to Wix. It looks great and it’s very responsive. For a simple website advertising your product or service this is ideal.

I'm very happy with Duda, their approach and their future plans. I've already developed over a dozen sites on their platform and it is much easier than WordPress.

Plus, with 25/7 support, it's a no-brainer. If you're an agency who wants to make money from hosting or maintaining other comapnies' sites, Duda is the way to go.

Duda has no second factor authentication, which is a shame from a security point of view because all professionnal tools provide this security feature. Without second factor authentication, the risk of a Website built with Duda is very high and shouldn't be considered. Unfortunately another more secure Website creation platform should be used if you don't want to be hacked.

The WORST .. I have created many websites in my life. I decied to try out Duda.. Well, firstly.. After clicking the Google login option the page never let me into my profile. I then clicked on the confirmation email link which allowed me to access my profile.

I spent HOURS building my site.

Then the next day I attempt to log in.. screen never moved after accepting my google email one-click login.. Then I complained to support.
They sent me 3 links to try and use. Non of which included any Google linked account login.. was just a page with email and password login.. DUMMY this is not going to help me..

SO I decided to click on forgot my password... it send me an email.
Click the email link.

It sends some to the EXACT same login page asking for email and password, umm... dummy how can I change my password if it needs me to log in to change the password.. I would never click forgot password to begin with..

A circle of support emails and multiple link sending me to the same dead-end pages.. email and password please..

Fu*ck* off. this is the dumbest website in the history of the internet.

Been using DUDA for about five years. Really makes web design and updates easy and fast for a business owner to control their own destiny. Great product. Great support.

I love this web design platform because allows us to build a site exactly the way we want with performance and uptime previously only available to large firms.

I switched from Word Press and GoDaddy several years ago. Duda is simply superior in everyway and they have the best customer service. I even switched one of my websites from Shopify to Duda. You cannot even talk to a live person at Shopify and you have to wait 30-40 minutes at GoDaddy now. The main reason I switched to Duda is for security reasons. I was having to many issues with Word Press and their plug-ins being out of date or vulnerable. I have not have one security issue with Duda and the sites are very easy to build. But again, their customer service is the very best in the industry.

Always provide reliable and quick service.

There are many web builders out there that are very well known such as Wix or Weebly, and I've experimented with most of them. Duda, being one I found later, it's too bad I did not find it sooner. Duda is for both beginners and advanced users. While it is not a website publishing service, only for building, it is very feature-rich.

Theme and Layout:

The first thing I look for in a web builder is whether or not I can get the exact theme and layout I am looking for as oppose to the choices that come available. There are many customizable options for widgets such as rounded corners, animations, but also advanced spacing options for people who are more into the graphic arts. With other builders, both the desktop and mobile layouts would not be equally presentable in layout. But with Duda, I can make changes independently for different devices. This also includes choosing which pages I want to have shown in the navigation for specific devices. In other builders, not having this feature would create too much clutter. Additionally, there are options to set global design changes for buttons, images, rows, and others as oppose to changing each individually. Having control over layout such as this is very well needed.

Safety Control:

Undoing changes and restoring websites is crucial. Weebly does not have an option to undo changes, but Duda does. There is also an option to create website backups. This happens each time a website is published, or I can create custom backups manually with the name I assign it. There were many instances I noticed unwanted changes but could not undo since the option refreshes after going to another page, and so the backup saved me many times. I can also unpublish the website and republish any time I want.

Privacy Control:

I have a new shop page I am working on, but because it is in beta, I have the option to set a password to it. Each password can be accessed in the page settings in case it is forgotten. This gave me the idea for a method for when I get around to hiring a team to work on pages not visible to the public yet.

Widgets and Features:

Duda has a wide range of widgets as is expected for a web builder, and it features lightboxes for gallery images. As basic as a feature that is, it is not always available in other competitors. Something else that I really love is that Duda feature accordions designed for an FAQ page and also with Google analytics. I can even create popups, anchors, rules for different devices, and organize my files.

Since I started working with Duda back in 2018 and experienced their progress, I have noticed that they take user requests very seriously. Requested features have been added over time. One of them is a custom search that features voice recognition for desktop users, and it is now on my site. I can even add my own keywords for Google search, or add tags for pages independently to help make my custom search work even better.

Marketing:

At first, I was not too interested in the option to use the e-commerce feature because of having to ship products to different customers, but then I realized that there is also an option to sell digital products. This is a feature I will need to explore more before reviewing, but it certainly sparked my interest.

What I Don't Like:

The reason Duda is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because of layout issues and slight buggy performance that is increasing. Before clicking and dragging widgets, all must be placed inside a container called "rows." The default spacing for those rows are not set up to proper margins. This involves having to adjust the spacing to different rows or widgets individually, or change the defaults globally. Each row also has an option for multiple columns, but they cannot be placed inside others, whereas Weebly can do this. This means that having a particular table-like grid cannot be achieved easily. More frustratingly, multiple widgets or layouts cannot be copied at once to make a duplicate unless they are all in a single row. And widgets cannot be placed inside tabs and accordions. All of this leaves lots of room for layout improvements.

However:

Flex Mode is a new feature designed for layout, but it is too early for me to share my opinion on it yet since I have not played around with it enough. It could very well have a feature that I am looking for to help solve my trouble.

Verdit:

8.5/10 for "Beautiful" is the rating I give Duda for a web builder.

I've been using Duda as my primary website platform for over a year now and am very pleased. Although it's primarily aimed at website-creation agencies, it's worked great for us and our business (we are in a different market and are not an agency).

The website editor is extremely easy to learn and use. It has all of the features I need. Plus, there is a very active support community on Facebook. Support has responded well also.

Excellent customer service, innovative tech, tons of learning material - only thing in question is your own dedication. So roll your sleeves up, grab the energy drink, and get ready to immerse yourself in the biggest thing in web development since javascript or bacon for all that matters.

The learning curve took all of 2 days to overcome with Duda. I was up and creating sites in no time. The editor is intuitive and incredibly functional. You can create almost anything you can think of for your sites. I love that you can edit mobile, tablet and desktop independently. Duda takes no-code to a whole another level. And the support, when I needed it, was super fast via chat/email.

Web building is great. But SUPPORT IS SLOW!

I pay a premium for the Agency Plan, so I expect to receive feedback to my support emails in under 24 hours max. But, instead, support can take days to reply.

Duda, please make support response FASTER by email, or install a phone system. I need a web company I can rely on to be there when I (and my clients) need support.

I know very little about website development, but thanks to Duda and their FANTASTIC help desk team I have been able to create a beautiful site that is also functional. I had pretty sites with other software but could never get them to work or had zero to terrible customer service when I had an issue. Duda is making my business profitable again! And Jairo at Customer Support is just FABULOUS! When it was urgent he just went into my site and quickly fixed it. Then later explained what I had done wrong.

I love the Duda platform. Designing sites is incredibly easy and the sites convert VERY well! Clients love them and the best part is the customer service team absolutely rocks!

So far it has been a good expierence. The reason that I did not rate a 5 star is do to recently have requested support by requesting a call back and have not got the call back or response to them. This request in mention have over more than 4 days and still waiting.

Excellent customer support. Needs whitelable branded help files section., not multiscreen.
