I have been following James for quite some time. I play in an original power trio so learning covers is difficult for me. Writing comes easy. I was stumped on a couple and so I came to James and he was giving a lesson on one of the tunes so I joined and got all I needed for the next night. The show was a great success. Thanks James.

I will make this simple. Pay the $30.00 or so. You will be a better bassist when you are through. And this is going from someone who has years of playing live experience.

I've been a member for over two years and this is my go to place for anything bass.

James & his tutors are great at what they do. The lessons are well paced & easy to follow and the content is relevant and clearly explained.
Any emails are answered promptly and when I stopped my subscription for a while there was absolutely no problem canceling it.
I would have no hesitation recommending eBass to anyone starting out of wanting to get a deeper understanding of bass playing.

Ive been learning from James and eBassGuitar through YouTube,books and courses for a while now and what I like about them is... the lessons are broken down into chunks thats so easy to undertand AND to apply directly into my playing. There are tons of great bassists out there but only a few is a good teacher and James is certainly one of those. And im blessed to find him in YouTube. My overall technique was improved AND also my understanding of theory is now rock solid. Kudos to James and Team EBG

EBass guitar are responsive, helpful and affordable.
The books are well structured with digestible bite size lessons presented in a logical sequence with an audio backing tracks for each “micro” lesson. These are really helpful.
Highly recommended.

EBass is great for growing bass players, and I don’t mean it from an age perspective, but people who is growing their skills. I know James could play really complex line, but he is able to break it down to simple pieces so people like me, expanding the skills, can pick it up and learn it. Highly recommended.

James teaches in a straight forward manner with plenty of explanations to help me stumble though my playing. I am 75 and his methods are truly an understandable gift as I walk the learning path for the Bass Guitar. Because of James, I am able to have the courage and skills to be a contributing participant in the musical areas of my life.

Fretboard Freedom is a very well thought out program that literally starts at step one and takes you to infinity. My favorite section is the one on Pentatonics. This has really helped me see shapes and understand how they connect to each other! James did an outstanding job on this book! I am so glad I got it! Give it a try!!! It is well worth it!
