Asked for a quote. Surveyor came, gave me price, said company would be in touch within a couple of days. Chased after waiting a week, and again a further week later. Nobody has been bothered to ring back. Do they care about their work as much as they do about customer care?

Installation was great but it was a bit messy

Recently had Cavity Wall Insulation at our Bungalow. The whole process from initial enquiry to completion was excellent.
Installers (Arak and Shane) were outstanding. Arrived early and completed the work within 2 hours. They have a great work ethic and were very personable, keeping us informed the whole way. They demonstrated great teamwork and worked in tandem , including complete tidy up.
We were extremely impressed and would highly recommend.

Another company left the job of applying external insulation unfinished, ghosted me and caused damage to my home. Ecohome cleared up the mess the first company had left and did excellent work. They always turned up when they said they would, communicated well and the care and precision with which they worked were very impressive. They were friendly and thoughtful about the care of my home. On top of being happy with the work, it's cheered me up!

A very professional company. I was given a quote very quickly. The man who provided the quote arrived on time and explained the whole procedure to me providing, photos of the loft space. I never felt like I was being pressurised into giving them the job. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant and polite. The people who did the insulating were quick and efficient and even cleaned up afterwards.

We were warned that foam extraction can be problematic but everything went smoothly. The guys tidied up as much as they could - foam extraction is messy. They checked for obvious gaps indoors but you wouldn't belive the places it comes out as it doesn't need much of a gap! The install was done the following week with no issues. Our house is rendered and they even went round with what paint we had from a previous painting. Really friendly bunch.

We asked Ecohome to help improve the insulation in the bedroom areas of our home. what a fantastic job they did! the surveyor was extremely helpful explaining the internal wall insulation process and the workmen were very quick tidied up nicely after. it's made a huge difference now the temp has dropped! highly recommended!

They sent large rolls of sodden wet insulation that flooded my living room, they claimed it could be installed wet, the material had black mold on it so they eventually swapped it, they failed to sufficiently book a plumber so new radiator pipework wasn't done by their plumber, I was left to find an emergency plumber and had to pay myself, they begrungingly discounted the bill from my Eco Home bill but said they wouldn't be hanging or plumbing in my radiators as they claimed they were out of plumbing budget, they used bathroom silicone around the windows that is impossible to paint, they rushed the 2nd room to squeaze in the job into the defined dates due to loosing days from the wet material, one wall is buldging at the bottom, holes around the edges of the 2nd room, I had to point out missing insulation material where cold spots could have formed. The worst thing though is that one side of the studwork needed to fit a radiator is missing, yet Peter claims it's there despite his photo showing clearly it is not! I now have two radiators unfitted and it's getting cold! He refuses to admit what anyone with eyes can see - that there is a stud on one side and not on the other! My plumber cannot fit the radiator! You cannot fit a radiator to a 10cm void! Absolutely shocking customer service! Not one single apology from Peter! He denies he failed to sufficiently book the plumber! Denies there is missing studwork! Refuses to rectify this issue! Court action coming!

Wet Insulation: The insulation was delivered wet two days before installation by the system manufacturer. The customer was asked to store it before the team arrived. We never stated that we would install wet insulation. Upon arrival, our team had the insulation replaced by the manufacturer immediately.

(I had to put it outside because it was flooding my living room with yellow liquid. Peter DID repeatedly say it would be installed wet! He said 'it would dry out eventually. It was only when it was found to have black mold on it that Peter was persuaded by the installer to replace it.)

Radiator Relocation: To install internal wall insulation, we cap radiators. The customer requested that their radiators be moved to a new location, so they instructed their own plumber. As a gesture of goodwill, we paid the plumber's bill.

(Peter was instructed multiple times to organise the re-location and re-plumbing of the radiators. Multiple times I stated what I wanted and asked him if he had organised for the new pipework to be installed prior to the wall insulation being fitted. Multiple times he assured me, in a dithering way, that it was all organised. I only booked my own emergency plumber because Peter failed in his duty to book one to do the job! Now, you're making out it was my plan all along to book my own plumber! Lie after lie! Do you want me to contact Grange Plumbing in Leominster and ask them to make a statement confirming the conversation I had with them on the morning the installers and your sub-contracted plumber arrived to cap off the radiators but not install the new pipes? Had you booked the plumber correctly and sufficiently, you wouldn't have had to cover the cost of an emergency plumber!)

However, the cost was four times higher than capping the radiators, so we emailed the customer to inform them that any future plumbing work would incur additional costs beyond the original estimate.

(100% your fault! Next time, do your job properly! Book a plumber to do the pipework!)

Unfortunately, this means we have now installed your project at a financial loss to the company.

Our internal wall systems are installed according to manufacturer design, using all materials supplied by them.

We document this process with photos to demonstrate our adherence to system specifications.

We offered the customer multiple solutions for mounting their radiator and provided photos of the system specifications.

We consulted with the system manufacturer's design team, who also offered the customer the option of seeking their own second opinion.

Unfortunately, the customer did not accept any of these options and instead sent us abusive emails followed by this review.

All of our installations are carried out by qualified employees who hold NVQs in system installation.

We follow a recorded system and document the entire installation process with photos.

The team turned up on time, were polite when they had finished left every as it was clean and tidy . And are coming back to put a second coat on the walls as one was not enough. And I can feel a difference all ready and they came back as promised

A representative of Eco Home was in the area and knocked on my door and was pleasent and helpful with the information that i needed to then book an appointment for a quote to be carried out.
Once the quote had been completed it was hand delivered by Eco homes and was explain to me in detail that i felt happy with.
The two fitters that installed my windows were polite and professional in the work that was carried out and the windows looked good.

Eco home were easy to deal with from start to finish. There’s a lot of bureaucracy with the eco grants and they took care of everything and made it very straightforward. The job they did was excellent, I couldn’t even tell that there were any holes drilled. All surveyors and tradesmen were very professional and did a proper job. Would definitely use again.

The work team were very polite and completed a clean, efficient job. I would highly recommend this company as they work to a high standard.

The guys who installed were brilliant. Respectful, professional and really quite lovely. They cleared the existing loft insulation (if you could call it insulation) arranged for someone to collect all of the refuse and cleaned up behind themselves. They were brilliant. I have had a few trades/ organisations in during this project and I can honestly say that ECO Home were the best with regards to communication, flexibility and professionalism.
At every point I have been impressed by the staff and their attention from the surveyor through to the refuse collectors.

Eco Home UK contacted me following my trawl through the BARK platform searching out a loft insulation contractor. Following a survey a detailed quote was issued and accepted and suitable dates for the work agreed on. Eddie and Luke arrived on the hottest day of our summer and in full protective gear spent three days sorting out the loft in 30 degree heat. They shifted three skip loads of old material down our stairs and cleaned up and vacuumed as they finished each day.
The job completed as quoted and the last skip removed when promised, I was entirely satisified with Eddie and Luke's work, they were a credit to the firm and I have no hesitation in recomending this contractor to anyone seeking insulation specialists.

The work was completed within a day and half.they have done a good job. The only thing is that the company they had to put the scaffolding up have not yet come to take it down. This is now coming up to four weeks. Apart from that I was pleased with the work carried out.

I’m not saying having the loft insulated was a painless process but the workmen doing the job made it the best it could be. They worked cleanly and efficiently keeping the area safe and tidy. The only painful part was having the main door open and it was a freezing day. The benefit from the work done was instantly noticed throughout the bungalow. We now have minimal loss of heat and our energy bills have reduced by 40%. The benefit if the installation is amazing
