Following on from my review of this scam company' on 11 September 2026. I received a chargeback from my bank following me contacting them having not received my order and rather 'after the event' reading the dreadful reviews about Elaine Hart of London. Oh how I wish I had read and done my homework before.
I emailed them and requested to return the items and to receive a full refund. NOTHING. No reply and no details on how to return.
Today I noticed that I'd had a payment for 1 part of the order (2 dresses) re debited from my account £71.91. I queried this with the bank and they explained that 'the company' had notified them, following the charge back and that I had received the goods. Due to this I am unable to make another claim for the goods not being as described. I'm furious with myself and want everyone to take heed and DO NOT touch this 'company' with a barge pole.
I'm fully expecting them to re debit the same amount for the other 2 dresses. I had ordered 4 dresses. 2 different colours and 2 different sizes. Shocking. Why when banks are being notified of companies like this can they not do something and take them down? Beware. I've leant a hard lesson.

As so many have said, wish I could give 0, and I had read the reviews first! This is just a sham, a con and I cant get details to get my money back. I reported them to my bank who luckily have refunded me, also reported to google, trading standards & anyone else I can think of to get the website removed. Please do not buy anything from this site.

It is more than a month since placing my order and only one communication has been received. I have had no responses to any emails asking the whereabouts of the goods. I do believe this company is a scam company and I am in the process of applying to the bank for the payment to be rescinded

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY!! The cardigan I bought was nothing like the picture presented. It was thin and shoddy enough to see through double layers. To add insult to injury Temu was selling the same thing for less than half the price a couple of weeks later. They don’t respond to email and don’t offer refunds.AVOID THESE CON ARTISTS !!!

I wish I had read the reviews!
My order never arrived and my emails are being ignored about a refund!
Lesson learned, Do not buy from this company.

It is everything the previous reviews have said - not what the website described - not replying back to how to return item even though i have emailed them repeatedly - no contacting my credit card company to get the money refunded ! I should have looked at reviews first - lesson learnt

I am writing formally about my order, attached.

I received this order but it is not as described: This is not a chiffon dress and it is 2 sizes larger than ordered. Therefore, as the fabric and appearance differ greatly from your website's labelling and the garment cannot be worn because of the wrong sizing, this constitutes false advertising; this makes this purchase null and void as it is not fit for intended purpose.

As I have previously contacted you through your contact form and replied to your delivery email, but have had no response, I am now exercising my consumer rights to reject this item. 

Please provide return instructions and cover the cost of return - as the error is not of my doing. I expect a full refund.

If, within 5 working days, I do not receive a response from you - there is no communication from you regarding this return, I will be obliged to refer this matter to  my card provider and request a charge back.

The item ordered was shoddy, and had obviously come directly from China. There were no labels on the item of any description and it arrived in a ziplock plastic bag.
The colour was a washed up version on the photo.
Very disappointed.

I received a cardigan yesterday the buttons were on the wrong side for a female.There were no washing instructions & impossible to return awful finish.Do not buy complete waste of money.Not a British firm but looks like it on the website.I should have looked at the reviews before ordering.

Just received a cardigan from Elaine Hart. Absolutely trash!! Not a bit like the picture and I would not be seen dead in it. A real SCAM! DO NOTBE FOOLED INTO THINKING THEIR STUFF COMES FROM LONDON!! Its Chinese tat abd you will never get your money back.

I deeply regret buying from this website. The product I received is cheap, poor quality and NOTHING like the item shown in the photos. It arrived all the way from China, despite the website giving a completely different impression.
And the worst part? Trying to return it is a nightmare. You are told to contact them by email to get return instructions. I contacted them and have received NO RESPONSE.
I paid a lot more than the product is worth and now I’m left trying to get my money back.
⚠️ DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS ON THEIR WEBSITE. Based on my experience, I do not believe they accurately represent the products or customer service.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING. I wish I had seen genuine customer reviews before placing my order.

The three jumpers that I purchased were of exceptionally poor quality and did not resemble the photographs, they were synthetic cheap material which did not come from London more like China.
I have been scammed before and lost money on these sites as the cost of postage back outweighs your loss

I purchased a cardigan which looked very good quality. It was shipped from China and was of the poorest quality, wrong size, had holes in the material. After a lot of back and forth via email they offered a 25% reduction and I could keep the item which I refused. I've now been told to return the product to China at my own expense and once the poor quality has been accepted then they'll refund. Please don't be fooled by their website. They are scammers.

Very happy with item purchased but delivery was a bit slow.

Easy enough to order online although I haven't received my order as yet so unable to comment on that for now.

These are scammers as the linen dress I ordered is different to the nasty, cheap version l received which looked like it was hand sewn with hanging thread and not the one on the Elaine Hart London website. Disgusting scammers, someone needs to put a stop to this.

The dress arrived late. Nothing at all like the one advertised. Cheap Temu knockoff. No embellishments whatsoever and very disappointed at the lack of decent quality. No response from the company when asked for return label and refund. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Avoid like the plague.

Cheap shoddy pieces of plastic sewn together to resemble a dress. Feels like a shower curtain. Do not not touch this company - they are nothing to do with London - they are a Chinese ghost company. You cannot return the goods as you would have to send them back to China. They offer 25% of your money back and you can keep the goods.

Do not use this site. Fake dresses , cheap pathetic copies not worth even £10 arrived.
