Wish I’d read the Trust Pilot reviews before ordering…….poor quality items that are not representative of the website images, slow response when communicating with them and very expensive returns process due to having to ship back to the Netherlands. Still waiting for my refund a month after returning the items.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY...I would rate no stars if I could.
The outfits look lovely online, but you never recieve them and its HELL to get a refund!!!
I didn't get the item and they took ages to respond to my emails, so I raised a dispute with my bank and that was when they responded and asked me to close the dispute so they could refund me....RUBBISH as they stalled giving me the refund in the first instance.
I should have checked the reviews, as they are CLEARLY A SCAM COMPANY!!!!

**Order placed on 2 July – still nothing received almost two months later**

I placed and paid for an order with Ellmont London on 2 July 2026. Today is 31 August and I have still received neither the shoes I ordered nor a satisfactory resolution.

What concerns me most is the way the company has handled the situation. On 20 July, after I complained about the delay, I was told that the order was “on its way” and that I would be kept updated. More than a month later, nothing had arrived and I had received no meaningful update.

I contacted Ellmont again. Their latest response was another vague message asking me to allow them to “verify the status” with their team and promising to update me “as soon as” they had further information.

After almost two months, I still do not know where my order is, when or whether it will be delivered, or when I will receive my money back.

I can only describe my own experience, but based on it I would strongly advise potential customers to be extremely cautious before ordering from Ellmont London.

A company that has taken payment should be able, almost two months later, to tell a customer where their order is or provide a prompt refund. Repeated apologies and vague promises of further updates are simply not good enough.

I will update this review if Ellmont London finally resolves the matter.

Alma women's loosefit 'linen' blouse turned out to be very poor quality polyester/cotton mix. Unfortunately I had ordered two, thinking they would be perfect for hot weather. No details in packaging of how to return item so I gave them to a charity shop without ever wearing them. The advertising was dishonest. Do not buy from this company.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with! Spent hundreds on a suit and trousers from this company thinking they were a reputable London based company. Turns out they are just drop shippers who take cheap Chinese products and have them delivered. Cost me £70 to return the items to the Netherlands. I’m still waiting for a refund nearly 2 months on. I’m nearly £400 out of pocket now. Absolute scammers avoid this company at all costs.!

The product was over a week late in arriving, despite asking for an updated delivery rate I was met with ‘it’ll arrive soon’.

Once the prince did arrive eventually arrive it was nothing like the photo and awful quality so naturally wanted a refund.

Trying to return the product and get a refund has been a nightmare. Initially they offered 15% refund, then a 20% gift voucher and after a week of back and forth they eventually offered me a full refund, BUT they won’t confirm the return address details and I am having to return at my own expense - international tracked delivery isn’t cheap!

Avoid at all costs.

Ordered 3 shirts, expecting a UK-based brand given the "London" branding and marketing. Delivery took 18 days and arrived from overseas — the company is actually registered in the Netherlands, not London.

One shirt was significantly more sheer than shown in the product photos, and another (different item) had a noticeably different, shinier fabric and longer length than pictured — not what was advertised.

When I asked to return two items, customer service repeatedly tried to talk me out of it with escalating partial-refund offers (15%, then 30%, then a 60% gift card) instead of just processing the return. Once I insisted, the return process was slow and communication felt automated — generic, repetitive replies that often didn't address the actual points raised.

The return parcel was also held at customs for weeks and ultimately sent back to me, seemingly due to a lack of proper returns/customs paperwork on their end.

Nice product photography and website, but the actual items and the returns experience didn't match the branding.

Definitely avoid!!

This is a proper scam company. The item ordered on 26 June 2026 has not arrived. The track record only shows that the label was created. The IA generated replies to my emails were strangly abrupt. They even said that if I am not happy with the packaging I could sent the packaging back. My pointing that I did not received the item and have a proof in a form of a track record remained unanswered. What is more, all their replies have dissapeared. Stay away !

Absolutely terrible. I payed £69 for the cheapest looking sweatshirt ever, it’s basically nylon and revolting

Dreadful quality items that look absolutely nothing like the images on the website.

When I requested a return due to the product being completely different to their listing, they wouldn’t cover the cost of postage.

Avoid at all costs.

Item I received was from a Chinese company not a London based one as I’d expected. The material was cheap shit. The pattern didn’t even look the same. Requested a full refund as soon as I saw it.

I ordered a dress for an important occasion it didn’t arrive and 2 months later still hasn’t despite me calling them their number doesn’t work I’ve sent numerous emails and they’re very surface level not really answering my questions the tracking number doesn’t work it’s a scam do not order here !!!

Hi, I placed my trouser order on 6 July, and it has now been over a month without receiving my order or any meaningful tracking update.

I contacted the staff members last week, and I was told that my order would arrive this week. However, there has still been no update or delivery, which is becoming very concerning and is making me question whether this order is legitimate.

I have also requested a refund, but my request was refused. As the order has already been significantly delayed, mo one either provide me with a valid tracking update and a confirmed delivery date, or issue me a full refund.

Don’t buy clothes from this store , it’s a scam

I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from this company to think twice.

I ordered an item from Ellmont London based on the photographs and description on their website. Unfortunately, what arrived was significantly different from what was advertised. The neckline was different, the garment had a very different overall appearance, and the quality and material were extremely disappointing for the price paid. It also arrived without any swing tags or labels.

When I contacted the company to request a return and refund, rather than simply arranging the return, they offered me a series of alternatives — initially 15% off, then 30% off if I kept the item, or a 60% gift card. I declined these and continued to request a full refund.

They eventually confirmed in writing that they would accept the return and issue a full refund once the item was received. However, I was told that I would have to return the item to the Netherlands at my own expense.

I took the parcel to the Post Office to find out the cost. I was quoted approximately £15 for tracked postage, plus approximately £15 in customs/duty charges — around £30 simply to return an item that I believe is not as described.

I asked the company to provide a prepaid return label or confirm that they would reimburse these costs. Instead, I received repeated, generic responses telling me that return postage was my responsibility, without properly addressing the points I had raised.

I have now provided all of my photographs, correspondence, order information and return documentation to my bank and asked them to investigate the transaction.

I am extremely disappointed with this experience. In my opinion, the product I received did not reflect what was advertised, and the return process has been unnecessarily difficult and expensive.

Based on my experience, I would advise other UK customers to avoid this company and be particularly careful about the potential cost of returning goods internationally.

I will update this review if and when the matter is resolved.

Proper scam site, I really wish I’d seen all the reviews first. They added items and extra charges that didn’t appear in my basket, only appeared AFTER my payment had been processed. They are useless on email and despite having a cancellation policy they won’t actually initiate a cancellation .

Steer clear. It's been 3 weeks and I havent received the item nor has there been any update at all. Just ridiculous.

Honestly so bad. Makes you believe it’s a luxury company with expensive items being discounted and pictures that look impressive. Shipped from China, quality is awful and getting any form of refund was impossible. Not only was the dress horrible, it was too big and their contact service was atrocious. I ended up getting 30% refund on my item, and even that was difficult to get. Don’t do it!

Utter waste of my time money and effort.
Infuriating trying to deal with them ( 5 weeks - no delivery) They do respond with AI generated placating emails
(more rage-bait). In the end I approached my bank for a charge back.
( HSBc) who couldn’t have been more helpful.
This company is a Scam-Merchant plain and simple.

I ordered an item, money taken, but I have not heard anything at all since. No reply to emails and the phone number that they supply is not recognised.
I would not even give them 1 star.
Other than writing to an address in the Netherlands, I am at a loss as to what to do.
