A complete nightmare - avoid at all costs.
My experience with EnergyServ was incredibly stressful from start to finish. While the system is finally on the roof and working, the treatment I received as a customer was completely unacceptable:
1. Incomplete Work: They initially installed only some of the total agreed-upon panels then refused to discuss the reasons why, demanding close to full payment.
2. Malfunctioning Equipment: When I refused to pay for an incomplete job, my inverter suspiciously began disabling itself.
3. Intimidation: During the dispute, management threatened me with debt collection, threatened to void my warranties, and even had personnel enter my property without my permission.
4. Grant Paperwork Delays: After citing consumer law to get the physical installation finished, I paid the final balance. They immediately ghosted me for a few weeks and only processed my SEAI grant paperwork after further legal threats.
All in all, it took about six months to resolve everything from initial incomplete installation to recieving the grant application documents.
I was taken aback by how hostile I was treated for attempting to be treated fairly after EnergyServ failed to deliver what was promised. I would not recommend them under any circumstances.
