Service disconnected for payment yesterday morning. Payment was made the day before and was seen in the system by every cs rep that I spoke with during the day. My 80y.o mother who's O2 dependent 24/7 wasn't able to use her O2 concentrator. Albeit we had a few portable tanks, they don't last indefinitely a few hours at best. So from 9am until 6pm they couldn't get anyone to return and reconnect the power. Total BS and very intentionally cruel. They waited exactly 24h to restore the power and my mother is now in the hospital suffering from hypoxia due to lack of appropriate oxygen. Thanks Eversource (I know you don't GAF)
Worse customer service EVER
Worse customer service than ever. I asked home they turn someone’s power back on and the rep said she didn’t know????
Unnecessary and frustrating billing errors
The frustration that I feel towards this gas company is so unnecessary. The last bill said we owed $288 for 4 days of gas service with a thermostat locked in at 62 degrees. I called and explained the error which they quickly acknowledged and said to check back tomorrow and you should have your fixed bill. Well it's been a few days and still no fixed bill. Now asking for a week to fix it. But this is not the first mistake they've made with billing. A few months prior it took him 3 weeks to put the meter reading and the amount of a bill on the website. By then, the next month's bill was due. So frustrating. It took several weeks for them to fix it. Something is off with their billing department. Eversource, you are a large company with a lot of resources. please fix your problems. It's very frustrating.
Most of the time the customer service reps are very courteous and helpful.

She helped me create an account for my new home and patiently helped me navigate the online process to complete my account. Awful company- Harassment
I am filing a complaint because this company’s billing and customer service practices are unacceptable.
Their billing is consistently incorrect, and despite providing full payment information each month, they continue to send harassing shut-off notices threatening to terminate service. This happens repeatedly.
Trying to resolve the issue is nearly impossible. Customer service is essentially unreachable. Today alone I have been on hold for over 90 minutes, and previously I waited over 30 minutes with no resolution. It is extremely frustrating and wastes a significant amount of my time every single month.
The constant shut-off notices, despite having valid payment information on file, feel like harassment and create unnecessary stress.
This company clearly needs to improve:
• Billing accuracy
• Customer service accessibility
• Resolution of recurring account issues
I am requesting that they correct the billing problems, stop sending unwarranted shut-off notices, and provide a reliable way to reach customer support.

Terrible company that raises rates and has awful customer service. Always a long wait time and when they call back it's quick and then it takes forever to get them again. I'm sure the long wait times are because of everyone else complaining. They don't do anything to help you with the high bills or rates. Worst run company around.

I just received my gas bill and it is out of control. This is not acceptable. How are people suppossed to afford the massive increase we are seeing. How much bonus did the CEO receive this year?

If I could give minus number I would. I called because I got a letter in the mail saying I had a past due? I had processed payment with the last customer service person I talked with because I was not receiving any bills in the mail?. No reason why I was not being billed? Ok move on. Can I get my bills mailed, OK. Month goes by no bill? Now I get a letter pasted due. Why? No mailing of invoice but I do get past due. Called Eversouce on the number given in the letter, 6 minute wait just to get someone that can not help, Kevin, he takes credit card info? But then says he can't help? Letter gives the phone number to call. Why can't the people who I am told to call help? Worst customer service 1.3 stars, they get that because you have to give one star to write a review.

We were given a mailed letter about a repair that included my address. My electric would be shut off from 7?8? To 3 pm. I called to check on that date and it was confirmed the work would be done. Most of the day we by with no lose of power . I called only to be told it would now be done the next day after I waited all day. The excuse they could not get enough workers for the job. My remark was what?? You don’t have enough workers ??
Today is the reschedule and once again 3 hours have gone by with no electric shut off.. I am now waiting for a call back!

I have been calling for over a month…
I have been calling for over a month for a street light out right in front of my home and the next house down. It is Pitch black on half our street. Have pictures of my car parked right outside in front of my home and you can not see the car because of how dark it is.
Reps that can’t rep
The power to our house partially went out. I reported the outage online. My husband identified the problem as a wire coming from their green box in our yard. The rep that called continued to ask questions that could not be answered by a customer and my husband got a little frustrated with her ( it really was nothing more than, that’s not my job). When we looked online there was a restoration estimate for 12:45. At 2:00 I called eversource and explained that I’d reported an outage in the morning and she told me it had been canceled! I get that customers can be pains in the ass but if you can’t handle customers, don’t get a job in customer service. The 2nd rep was very professional and the crew showed up within 30 minutes. This negative review is for that first rep only. Unfortunately, the company will probably never know who it was and there’s no way it’s her first time being petty!

I've tried to call multiple times and Eversource always gives me a minimum 45 minute wait time... MINIMUM. There is no email address, no way to speak to a human being, and no way to get into my account, it is infuriating. I can still pay by phone, but I cannot see the bill to make sure it looks right. Criminal negligence, non-existent customer service.

Customer (non) service line was useless
Customer (non) service line was useless. All I needed was for someone to explain my bill and check that my Solar production had been properly credited. The customer service rep could do nothing, but transferred me to hold with the renewables dept. There I got a recorded message and estimated 2 day wait for a response call. All I needed was a knowledgeable person who could explain my bill; all I got was the runaround. And.... the promissed quality followup on my original call never came, so this is the only way I can provide feedback for such poor service.
