Deplorable company and customer…
Deplorable company and customer service. No one answers any questions service reps are rude. You can’t get anywhere with anything thru customer service tried four times 25 minutes on hold no call back except a survey? On top of ridiculous delivery charges that are more than our monthly bill! Time for some customers all of us to stop this mega monopoly grinding us all into the ground with their cost of maintenance they never actually do but charge more for. Disgusted!

I have 2 eversource accounts in 2 different states. Normally, I pay by phone and I am prompted to enter my account number that I want to pay. This past time, I was not. Money was directed to wrong account. Two lengthy phone calls and 5 customer service people later, the money was not directed to correct account. Extremely frustrated.

Worst customer service ever. They overdraft my account by 10,882 dollars twice. Nobody is able to fix it, I spoke with 7 or more agents and they keep transferring me, in the meantime they kept asking me if i'm interested in solar, what a nerve! Horrible company.

I spoke with brandy today regarding a downed pole. She stayed on the phone with my husband and I for over 1.5 hours trying to help us solve our problem. She was knowledgeable, resourceful and helpful. She was a pleasure to talk to. Eversource needs to give her a promotion. Her customer service skills and knowledge about your company is stellar and second to mone.
Terrible company stay away if possible
This is truly one of the worst companies I've ever encountered. Starting new service? Ok there's an option to do that on the website. I try. Doesn't work. Ok I call them. Says I need to upload documents. Ok. A day later, it failed. Please upload more documents. Ok. A day later, it is accepted. Ok. So surely I can start service now right? Nope doesn't work. I call them again. Ok now it finally works. I ask for a confirmation email. They say I will receive it shortly after the call is over. I never got an email.
Only good part is the person on the phone was not rude.
Eversource makes me sick. Example of a company who doesn’t even try to do the right thing.

Give 0 stars I would. Eversource exemplifies what it looks like when a company has no competition and therefore they don’t care. They don’t even try to care. I’ve had several really awful experiences with Eversource with documenting account information I incorrectly. After several attempts and long wait times they needed over 5 times to actually do what it is that they said they were going to do which was simply change account information to reflect the correct account holder. This held up our solar panel project by over 6 months.
Most recently an error on automatic payment happened and we received no notifications. Our electricity was shut off without any notice. Even after resolving the payment issues immediately online they refused to turn the power on until the next day even when a maintenance person from Their company was right in our driveway. They said he cannot help bc that wasn’t their policy. The whole thing is disgusting and sickens me how they would leave a family and people without water, heat, and electricity for over 24 hours even after the issue was resolved and a person from

Worst customer support ever
Worst customer support ever. Not only are their rates incredibly high but no one seems to know what's going on. I have a credit for $371 that is being added to the amount owed, instead of subtracting it. I have spoken to three agents (customer support, credit and billing) to help me understand my bill, but they keep transferring me to someone who can better help me. Each time throwing me back into the long queue. One hour+ later, no one can!!

Phone Robot voice is very annoying. Doesn't understand questions. When will they hire a knowledgeable person?

Customer service is poor
The customer service is poor. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I was sent to the incorrect department, then to the "right" department, and before I spoke with anyone, the call abruptly disconnected. The automated system is inefficient and requires a particular cause for the call; when I offered one, it did not understand and assumed there was a power outage. This was a dead end and I did not have the option to go back. As a result, I had to make many calls and lost over 50 minutes.

Atrocious Phone Support
Horrid experience on phone with Eversource for an hour and 47 minutes. Time I’ll never get back. The greed, the lack of empowerment for their phone personnel. Hideous!!!! Never again. If I can move to a state that doesn’t use Eversource for power that’s what I’ll do, soon as possible.

I called many times for the same issue that they have been billing me the same EXTRA AMOUNT which is +20 +20+20+20 each time
Now I owe like $400 ! WHAT THE HELL
I paid LAST MONTH $500 because of EXTRA FEE AND A PAYMENT THAT “ DID NOT WENT THROUGH “ and I called customer service to confirm that I paid everything and that I will not be charged like this again and she told me that yes I was all set , all issues all resolved ….
Now I see my bill today and I have the same issue again , $400 extra ? I called this morning and the lady was very rude didn’t help me with this issue and just hung up ! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ?????

Eversource is a complete joke of a gas provider
Eversource is a complete joke of a gas company or company in general for that matter. They have been on my street and within a 3 block area working for the past 2-4 weeks..they then disconnected gas to supposedly swap gas lines..they turned off the gas all day today December 7th which was fine while i was at work and my kids were at school and daycare…NOW I get home at 4:41pm with no gas to heat my house or cook..I call and ask why my gas is off and they claim nobody over 18+ was home to allow the gas employee inside to relight pilots and check o things…my whole issue is 1. The meter is outside so what could they need to check inside my house 2. Why were no notices, phone calls, or emails sent out informing customer that someone of age must be home pretty much all day so they can gain access to the dwelling when needed…so here we are my 4 children two of which are under 2 years of age with no way to cook, or heat my home while the temp is now 22 degrees and dropping…I’m extremely disappointed, dissatisfied, and angry with eversources lack of communicating effectively just as they will email, call, text, and send mail when they want their money for the bill…I called customer service and was told that the issue of turning on my gas is still pending due to more important calls being priority…WHAT!!! so customers with children let alone babies are not of the same importance as other calls..I WISH I could give eversource a -5 stars they should seriously be so embarassed

I had to give one star to give a rating! disgusting , ineffective, negligent, careless and inept! It appears to me this companies sole purpose is not to provide a service but to rob people blind! one bill is $32.00, then a letter stating an "error" was made. (I overpay to keep the current amount). Only to then receive a bill for $266.00!!! Absolutely incompetent! I am on a monthly billing cycle to AVOID ANY SURPRISE INCREASE MONTH TO MONTH. I strongly feel this was NOT accomplished.

lenny galarza came out to my house on 9/29/23 to change my gas meter.it's to bad he didn't have a boat lol. it was raining so hard he had to walk through so much water. when he came in my house he even put booties on because i had new carpet and he took his wet jacket off. he was so polite and very helpful. you are lucky to have him on your team. debbie toth

Customer service is very rude, I do not understand how they bill us. I wish there was another company .This is the worse company I have dealt with.There should be an option for zero rating.Consumer Advocate needs to be involved otherwise the average person will not be able to keep their house warm for the winter.Please Help customers are being abused

To me, it's the worst service company I ever had. They are expensive, misleading in service, and liars on billing. But without competition, why would they do anything different? Should be illegal.
