I wanted to clarify that when applying for an insurance policy, it is standard practice for insurance companies to check the CUE database to access any claims history. CUE is a central database that holds information on all insurance claims and incident reports made by policyholders regardless of the vehicle the claim occurred in. If the information disclosed does not match what the database confirms, we ask for you to contact us to discuss this in more detail. When updating the information to match the CUE database, this can affect the premium you were originally quoted. We apologise if this was not made clear to you during the conversation you had with us.

Best prices, though the excess was pretty high but seeing as my bike is just for a bit of fun in the summer and despite having no no claims to help, I’ve ridden bikes regularly for a lot of years just a shame the experience doesn’t help but I’d had a gap of about 3 years

Okay so I couldn’t just change my bike…
Okay so I couldn’t just change my bike on the policy online because I didn’t realise it was a Classic policy I held for my 30yr old ZX7R Ninja and now sold it and wanted to insure my Triumph Tiger so had to phone up. It took me 45 minutes from start to finish Because in all fairness the bloke had to first find out why I couldn’t just delete my old bike and insure my new bike and then take out a new policy which was very competitive
Overall satisfied with a very competitive premium top marks.
