I used Extend’s warranty for my Oura ring. I’m so glad I did. After having a battery life issue, I contacted Extend to make a claim. Everything worked seamlessly. I’m so pleased.

UPDATE: Extend looked into my specific situation in more detail and was able to help me get information from the tech about what parts are needed. Additionally, they issued a second gift card for the amount of the original warranty to help offset the increased cost of the unit (I should note that, by the terms of the warranty they absolutely did not have to provide anything beyond what they already provided). Beyond that, though, they acknowledged that the process did not go smoothly for me, apologized, and took the time to talk to me on the phone, understand my concerns, and noted ways in which they were going to use this as a learning experience to improve their processes, which I really appreciate as a customer. I've come back around full circle on Extend and will likely use them in the future.
OLD REVIEW: I've had problems with my product since April (it is now August) and had extend send a tech out to look at it and provide a fix. The tech said they didn't have the parts needed and would need to order them, but apparently never did. I tried to work with extend to get a tech back out to figure out what parts they needed, but 4 months later of back and fourth and out of the blue they send me a gift card so I can buy a new product instead. The problem is that the card only covers the cost of the original product. In the mean time the cost from the manufacturer has increased $200, sales tax is $185, and shipping is $218, even before I decide if I want to add another warranty, so instead of getting my device fixed under the warranty I paid for I am out a minimum of $600 if I want to get a new device. Overall I would not recommend getting an extend warranty. They put you through hoops, waste your time, and in the end it still ends up costing you an arm and a leg to replace the equipment.

I ordered enough from bed bath and beyond’s website (ordering enough to get free shipping), and signed up for Extend's shipping protection. One item was lost in the mail. It never arrived. The amount I was given on my card doesn’t cover shipping for the item AND bed bath and beyond’s website doesn’t give me the option to pay for the difference like Extend's FAQs says that the website would … I would happily pay the extra bit on my end at this point to avoid this headache... without being able to pay for the balance, my attempts to reorder my item with the card provided have failed (“we’re sorry, an error has occurred with your payment method. Please try a different card”). Extend's customer service is very poor, and they often copy in canned answers into the chat -- it seems that they do this especially if they don't know the right answer.
At the end of my experience I'm out $30+ dollars for the lost item, $2 that i paid for the Extend, and a fair amount of time and frustration. I would recommend that no one trust this company. And I'm disappointed that a company like Bed Bath and Beyond would work with a company with 30% poor reviews.

They took over the warranty from another company for Ashley furniture warranties. Claimed that they could not see any coverage file. Called Ashley beforehand, who verified I did have coverage and upon relaying that information was told to call them back and have them email the invoice for the furniture from an official Ashley address, couldn't take it from me. Called Ashley customer care center back and they claimed not to have the invoice, Even though they could see exactly what I ordered. Perfect! Just fixed the one year old furniture myself.

I purchased a body panel for a vehicle I was working on. Site/company from whom I made the purchase is affiliated with Extend and offered insurance for shipping. Normally I don't bite, but for a little over $3.00, I did. The part arrived on July 3rd. The box was damaged as was the contents. I messaged the Extend site, filled out a few questions and filed the claim. The next morning -- July 4th -- I had an email from Extend with a pre-paid VISA card loaded with the value of the part I ordered. That shocked the snot outta me. So yes, I would recommend Extend and I will use them again.

Always get the warranty!! My Oura ring cracked after a year of having it. Filed a claim and within days got a response and now I am getting the Oura Ring 4 as an upgrade for $50. I definitely got the 3 year Extend warranty again.

This company is an absolute scam and will go out of their way to deny a claim!!! TERRIBLE customer service to boot. I will NEVER get insurance through them again. They only cover "a stain" not the cushion on the couch being sunken in after less than a year. Also they don't cover anything on top of that either (seams, tears, non food or drink related stains, etc.)

I rarely purchase extended warranties, but I'm very glad I did this time! The claim submission process was simple and straightforward and within a short amount of time I was able to order a replacement for my damaged device - I added the extended warranty this time without a second of hesitation.

I’m writing to express my deep concern about Extend’s current policy of charging families for booked sessions even when a child is unable to attend due to illness.
While I understand the need for consistency in operations, this policy feels unfair and ethically questionable. Illness is unpredictable, and when parents make the responsible decision to keep their sick child home—for the safety of all children and staff—it’s incredibly disheartening to be financially penalised.
This puts additional pressure on families during already stressful times. A more compassionate and reasonable approach—such as offering a credit or refund for absences due to illness—would go a long way in showing that Extend truly supports families and prioritises child wellbeing.
I sincerely hope this policy is reviewed and reconsidered. Many families, including mine, would appreciate a more thoughtful and family-focused solution.
