​I took a while to write this review because I simply couldn't find the words to express how impressed I am with the service from Dr Derda Özer and the team. My mum's journey started overseas where she began to experience sight loss. I contacted several places in the UK, Mexico and Turkey for second opinions, but none gave me the reassurance, patience, knowledge or empathy that Dr Derda Özer did. He accepted her case and immediately provided the supporting letters to aid our visas. Every single question I had was answered and broken down so I could fully understand it.

​Mind you, he was the only doctor in Turkey I sent her referral to; I felt so drawn to him compared to the others, who seemed very money-driven before even understanding her situation. My mum has visited twice now, the first time for her pre-surgery injection, and then for the surgery itself. She is due to return to have the silicone oil removed, and I am so incredibly grateful and pleased with the service. The care I saw Dr Derda Özer, Zeynep and Hasan offer to my mum makes me so emotional and filled with gratitude. I want to shout it from the rooftops and share how thankful I am.

​When you or a loved one is unwell, kind, caring and knowledgeable healthcare is vital, and you get all of that here. I was not paid or asked to write this review; it is straight from my heart. I will write a follow-up after her final surgery, but trust me when I say, as someone who felt completely hopeless, these people helped prove that God is alive and well. He is still healing and working miracles so do not give up or loose faith.

I am 47 years old and chose to have PanOptix multifocal lenses implanted by Dr. Derda Ozer at BHT Tema Hospital in Istanbul. These lenses allow me to see near, intermediate, and far, giving me freedom from glasses that LASIK could not have provided for my vision needs.

I was hesitant at first, but Dr. Derda took the time to clearly explain all of my options in English. A translator was also available if needed. He reviewed the latest research, explained the facts about the procedure, and tailored his recommendations to my specific vision and lifestyle. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism immediately put me at ease. He is a highly respected surgeon, and I truly believe he is a gem.

I also want to recognize Zeynep, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She answered every question I had through WhatsApp and made everything incredibly easy. She arranged my airport transportation, hotel accommodations, hospital appointments, and aftercare. Every detail was handled seamlessly, allowing me to focus on my surgery and recovery without any stress.

The entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the exceptional medical care to the outstanding coordination and hospitality, everything was first-class. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Derda, Zeynep, and the entire team at BHT Tema Hospital. Thank you for giving me the gift of clear vision and making this journey such a positive and unforgettable experience!

I am very happy with the new multifocal lens fitted at the clinic 25.6.2026. Everything was managed by Hasan and everyone involved with the care and accommodation. I came from the uk and would recommend this clinic to anyone thinking of having the operation. My Vision is 100% better after 2 days. Thanks to everyone at Eyeglow for making it possible for this.

The experience overall was first class...all the information I needed was given to me very prompt... airport pickup was outstanding hotel was amazing.....I was told what was happening at every stage of the process...BHT clinic was outstanding and staff was very friendly the procedure its self was painless both eyes new lenses about 6min each eye and could read my phone after new lenses where in eyesight gets better day by day all medication was given when leaving clinic.....next day morning check up all transport to and from clinic is included which makes life easy....so a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in changing my life for the better would 110% recommend

I had strabismus surgery and the process was very easy from my side, all I had to do was bring my passport and buy plane tickets.

Transportation, hotel accomodation, exams, paperwork was all done by the EyeGlow Health.

I made 6 inquiries for cataract surgery based on positive reviews of the doctors to get some info on the procedures and cost, and the first and most thorough response was from Hasan. I heard from a few other doctors’ offices but their responses were brief and trite, and I didn’t feel like they were as interested in my business. Hasan answered all of my questions, was very flexible with the scheduling and was by my side throughout which was an immense help given the language barrier with the different departments. The airport transfers went well, the hotel accommodations were good, and my procedure was very successful thanks to the doctor and his staff. He was also kind and accommodating to my sister who traveled with me. It’s been a little over 3 weeks since the surgery and I’ve had no problems at all. I can’t begin to imagine what this would have cost in the US where I live, as this would have been an out of pocket expense for me. I highly recommend this company for cataract surgery and I’m sure all of their services would be just as good. I have been wearing glasses for the past 53 years and I can now see all 3 ranges of sight with no assistance, which is mind boggling. Thanks again to Hasan, who is the first point of contact for EyeGlow Health, and who made all of the difference for me.

All elements of the package were high standard, the facility the dentist and Hassan who was very professional on all the logistics.

I underwent ILASIK surgery at this clinic in Istanbul, and the experience was excellent. From the very first moment, the treatment before and after the operation was very kind, attentive, and professional. I especially want to highlight the translator, who was very friendly and helped me at all times, making the whole process much easier and more comfortable. The speed of the service, the cleanliness of the clinic, and the good organization gave me a lot of confidence. Furthermore, the final result has been very satisfactory. I had my laser eye surgery with Eyeglow Health and the experience was excellent from start to finish. From the moment I arrived in Istanbul, everything was well organised and I was looked after straight away. The communication throughout was clear and consistent, which really helped put me at ease. Dès le début, j’ai été accompagné de manière très professionnelle par Mlle Zeynep, directrice de EyeGlow Health. Son sérieux, sa disponibilité et son implication ont été remarquables. Elle a su organiser chaque étape avec précision et m’a mis en confiance du début à la fin.

Un immense merci également au Prof. Dr. Muhammet Derda Özer, dont le professionnalisme et l’expertise sont tout simplement impressionnants. On sent immédiatement qu’on est entre les mains d’un spécialiste expérimenté, attentif et rassurant.

Concernant la lentille choisie (Clareon PanOptix), je suis extrêmement satisfait du résultat. À seulement quelques jours de l’intervention, je constate déjà une nette amélioration de ma vision, tant de loin que de près. C’est un véritable changement de vie : retrouver une autonomie sans lunettes est une sensation incroyable.
