The experience of dealing with FGC Ltd From the very first phone inquiry to Jodie right through to the installation has been nothing short of superb.
The showroom is fantastic and the Frameless Glass Doors are really quite unbelievable.
Jodie handled the whole process very professionally
from start to finish, nothing was a problem for her.

Barry (the surveyor) was equally very professional with a great eye for detail and accuracy and so glad we went with his recommendations for minimizing the visibility of top and bottom rails by making channels in the floor and ceiling for that added minimalist look!

Liam (aided by Barry) installed the doors very professionally and with great care.

The doors look absolutely fantastic and we have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending FGC Ltd.

FGC helped me with aluminium doors that they hadn't installed but were happy to help resolve. Very impressed with their level of customer service when there was no financial gain to them. Thank you!

We had the frameless glass bifold installed recently and everyone from the surveyors to the fitters and those at the office were fantastic to deal with. The bifolds itself are the best in the business in terms of functionality and quality of design

From agreeing to meet out of hours to discuss our project (thank you Amanda) to timely communication, reasonable quote, reliable when it came to site visits, excellent customer service - even agreeing to drive for a couple of hours to collect a piece not provided by the supplier - and professional installation team (thank you John, James & Liam), we have been impressed by FGC and would recommend.

I have had my FGC doors for a number of years now, and I am very happy, having done my due diligence before committing. However, there is an issue with the handles which have an integrated lock and I am now probably going to need to resort to legal action to resolve it.
My doors have been fitted since before Covid. I had a door shatter, which was surprise surprise, not covered by the warranty because they claimed it was an impurity in the glass. Aside from the issue not being discussed beforehand so that I was aware, these doors cost more than £2000 each and I had to pay to replace this one. So much for insurance.
Now, I am on my latest handle on one set of these doors, they say 3rd but I think that they are not counting a temporary one which was fitted for a month or so. I have waited since June, they say, until yesterday to have the exact same handle replaced yet again, even though the last time that it happened, I was told it would be changed if it happened again. I understand that they have had to re-design the handle and they don't want to replace it on mine due to the cost. Yet, they have not even offered me the choice of paying for it myself.

Great staff in the showroom,very good surveyor and efficient installers.

Before deciding to invest in new patio doors we visited the FGC showroom twice. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the doors looked good so we decided to proceed. Everything went well from the survey through to installation. Even when we had a slight problem post installation the team came out promptly and were able to make the necessary adjustments. Very happy with the whole process and I have no issues in recommending them.

Having visited the showroom and decide that the Frameless Glass Curtains on offer would meet our requirements, followed by the survey to fitting I could not have been happier. The fitting team (father & son) were excellent and kept dust to an absolute minimum when cutting into the floor. Our solution of 3 glass panel fitting into a gap between the kitchen/dining room and winter garden is great allowing us to use the winter garden space for longer periods of time on the colder days with minimum heat loss from the space. I would recommend them.

Communication between customer and client was good. Workmen arrived on time and completed the installation of a door and 2 glass panels the same day. They were tidy and cleaned up after them. I would recommend the company to others.

Amazing product which has given our home the 'Wow' factor. The aftercare is second to none. I had a problem closing one of the windows/doors - six years after they were fitted - and the maintenance man drove all the way from Maidstone to Bournemouth to resolve the problem the next day. And what a lovely cheery chap he was. And no cost to us. This company deserves 5 stars for everything.

Our experience with FGC was excellent from start to finish, they were professional from our first contact right through to completion and we are delighted with the end product - it has added real kerb appeal and has exceeded our expectations.

The installation didn't work more often than it did work over the three years we put up with it. It failed numerous times and whilst they repaired it every time it sometime took months to get someone on site. The maintenance crews were great but the build and installation quality was poor and I suspect they should have advised our location was not appropriate as it was directly facing the sea and got very windy and salty. Many of the components got corroded and had to be replaced. We got so fed up with this we gave up in the end and we asked them to uninstall it all and just take it away which they did. A major investment that wasn't worth it. I never got to speak to a manager about these problems despite asking to do so on several occasions. Overall a complete waste of a lot of money with a very poor attitude towards customers although the staff I did speak to were fine. Based on our experience this is a company to avoid. I would have given no stars if that were possible!

Despite your reply using the guarantee period as an excuse, the build quality was poor and the reason for my reply this week is the fact that the door handle came off!! The fact remains that my experience of FGC is poor. Any folding patio door company would expect their product to last longer than 5 years, so clearly your product is below standard and not worth the considerable financial investment! Terrible experience 2 windows failed a couple of weeks short of the original guarantee! They were replaced but within a year they failed again ruining my brand new carpet! Difficult discussion and NOT resolved. Just this week the indoor handle came off!! Be warned and go elsewhere

Excellent product, friendly and helpful staff.

Had two double doors fitted ( matching)
the amount of light is great and the runners look decent and run pretty smoothly.
I'm not sure about the brushes (curling) and there are a fair few screw holes along the bottom that no doubt will pick up all sorts of muck.
To early to say how they will last, but manufacture seems good.

The locks are a different story, they are high security and to open and close is a bit like unpicking a bank vault.
The Lock bloke even demonstrated the speed we should be turning the key (?!) it also seems unnecessarily complicated on the number of twists ...and I have other high end cen 6 security locks (dimple) that aren't so attention seeking.

First fit, one worked really well one was ok, two were really bad. The doors didn't shut properly so I had two further visits to sort out.
Second fit FGC no show.
Third fit (with both fitters and lock smiths) 3 hours and everything back off and back on to remove the need to slam the doors shut and 4 different key twists.
I have now have 4 locks the same (all are adequate/ok) but complicated (the first one that worked well was replaced to keep them the same).
And now after realignment there's minimal shoving to close. Overall , ok.

Bought doors six years ago, love them - minor problem reported to company, fixed in less than a week. Thoroughly recommend this company!
