Great prices and the sales staff was excellent at answering questions and helping to adjust order after encountering some backorder issues. I would use FireplacesDirect (Spotix) again and will recommend to anyone I know whom might be in need of a fireplace or wood stove.

the part was not indicated for LP GAS…

the part was not indicated for LP GAS and I needed NAT> GAS I figured it out at the customers house .
So when I told you all you. you said I will have to buy the nat gas part and PAY even though your sales rep said it saw their falt. and return the other one before I get a credit .

Thank you for the feedback. Because this order was placed online manually, and you realized that you received the incorrect part, a new order had to be placed. We do not have the ability to swap out parts or do exchanges on web orders. A new order had to be placed for the correct item that you needed, and a refund will be issued once you send back the incorrect item to us. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

WiFi unit doesn't pick up accessories

WiFi unit doesn't pick up accessories. No info on how to "pair" them per the instructions it came with (also says in the same instructions the accessories show up in the app naturally?) and any reply to customer service returns to us as undeliverable. Oh, and that 100% satisfaction garauntee? Well, that'll cost you the shipping to send the item back, minus initial shipping costs, and a potential "restocking fee". $200+ to turn up the flame in our fireplace 1/2inch without any other functionality. Not worth it. Honestly feel scammed.

We were unable to light our pilot or start the fireplace for the season. I called Terry and he stopped by at the end of his already long day and got our fireplace going as well as educating us on what to do! Highest recommendations for this guy!!! BD 42 bi-fold door WASTE OF MONEY

We bought a BD42 door for our WT3042 wood burning fireplace. We immediately noticed that it didn’t fit the fireplace. It was about 1-2 inches too wide so we could never fully close it. We kept it because this was specifically the model we needed and we needed it urgently. After a few uses, we noticed the panes of glass slightly sliding out of place. We slid them back in place. Now, one of the panes of glass completely fell out and shattered on the ground when the fire was lit. This product doesn’t fit and it doesn’t work. I would appreciate if a rep would reach out and offer customer service.

Damaged!

I had a delivery i needed asap, the one that arrived was damaged but they did everything they could to expedite my new fireplace, i love how quick they were about it, i will buy again.

Thank you for the feedback. This item was not shipped damaged. This item was delivered on the 13th but we were not notified of any damage until the 24th - 11 days later. We only have a set amount of time that we can report damage with our freight carrier to file a claim with them. Unfortunately we could not file a claim because we were not notified until outside of that timeframe.
