I bought a book with a 3-5 day delivery from fishpond. they never sent a confirmation email to me.
They did however take money from me.

I am now over a month out, and no book.

I can't call fishpond, as they wont allow phone contact.
I cAnt email them, because I need a order number - which they never sent me.

My credit card holder says I need to call them. but I can't.

This is a terrible situation as I have Zero Recourse.

I have exhausted methods to contact Fishpond.
This is perhaps the worst online transaction,, as fishpond hide behind a cloak of secrecy .

TERRIBLE COMPANY

Ordered a CD over a month ago and was advised that a confirmed delivery date would be provided by 19 August. NOTHING. They now advise that they will have to re-order from their supplier and could take up to 20 days for them to get it. NO THANKS. I have requested a refund. This has happened to me a few times.
Their customer service is in the GUTTER.

A 1 star rating is the lowest. They need to include negative star ratings.

I received my groceries with a wet box - the ice pack had leaked badly and was almost all water. The ice pack was sitting on top of a box of crackers and crushed the box, as well as soaked it with water. Why would something that could potentially leak and is also heavier than the crackers, be put on the top of the box? Then I find that some of packets were about to expire. This was never noted in their description, which means that the items have to be consumed straight away, which is totally unacceptable.
I've emailed Fishpond twice, with photos for them to see the boxes, etc, but I've received no answer.
Their customer service is crap! I wouldn't recommend buying from them.

Massive delays in shipping.
Tried to stuff shipping orders around to make it seem like they had sent $80 worth of product they hadn't .
I would call them fraudulent as a company. If you use them keep track of what you order as I've been back over mine since hard issues and found several items that were never sent. But when it got to $80 worth of product in one shipment it was all to obvious.. I am still trying to get my money back .. do not use this company unless you want to be ripped off

Placed an order on June 13th for a book. No update/communication sent at all. Have just found out (now 7th August) that it’s been re-ordered from supplier and estimated to be shipped on 20th August.

19 Jun: Ordered 13x copies of a book, charged $300+, ships from UK eta 31 Jul to 14 Aug.

27 Jul: Update that there is a delay. Will wait two weeks

5 Aug: “Oh no! Something has gone wrong, and our supplier is now out of the book”

Pretty terrible service given the length of time.

Finally cancelled my book order after months of waiting. There were exhaustive email communications to try and get an open and reliable response about the delay and an endeavour to get a delivery date that was not continually being extended into the future - but to no avail.
All my attempts to get an understanding of why Fishpond could not be more specific about progress status updates between them and any sources were completely ignored.
This is completely unacceptable in today’s world of logistics technology.
Their business model is obviously to simply resubmit your order to a source they have on a register and then just wait to see if they receive a copy that they then forward on to you.
It will be interesting to see how long the refund process takes from the many complaints I have now read about.
Won’t trust Fishpond with any further orders.

Order got cancelled because wrong stock but they were very communicative about it and I got fully refunded.

I've been buying from Fishpond for years. They have great prices and products I can't find easily elsewhere.

Price was excellent. Shipping was a little long, but I didn’t need it right away, so I didn’t care. I hope to order this product again.

They give you a date to expect your item, but when that date comes up they email saying to wait another 2 weeks.

I dont mind waiting for products but this is rediculous! Its more than a month and still no delivery date!

I buy a lot of my music through various channels and I find Fishpond to have great prices. Delivery price is sharp. If an item is not available a refund is usually in the bank within 3 days.

The bread is always super fresh. I love love love my faux fur bed cover throw. I enjoy the variety I'm experiencing atm. Delivery is excellent.

Ordered a product over two months ago. I had to enquire after the first month to hear was not completed. No communication. Now it's been reordered. Iv waited about 9 weeks. Alli espress shein ebay or any place have been within the two week period, even from Europe and states. I'll never buy from fishpond again. Cheaper prices don't mean good service at all or communication or fast delivery. They literally had it on a boat. Unbelievable..Update it arrived today. 2 and halve months later. DAMAGED. How's that.. DAMAGED

Made 3 separate pantry orders over 2 months and all 3 had been packaged terribly. Crushed biscuits and cereal because heavy goods put on top. Also open shower gel which leaked throughout box. Products that have been cut with a knife and placed in box with contents all spilled out. No care given at all! Even when contacted they didn't really care and state it is an isolated incident (3 times?)

I ordered from the pantry menu, little did I realize that three weeks later I would be still waiting for all of my product until the 7th of July this is still not guaranteed to arrive.
Do not order from this store, you are wasting your time and money..the refund process is also flawed and there is no notice that products will take a month to recieve.

Great company. Anything that is out of stock gets an automatic refund. Perfect for music lovers

Abysmal customer service when trying to locate a missing order. I have used Fishpond a lot over the years but recently they have really dropped the ball, shifting blame for a missing order, not supplying requested information and not adhering to their own refund process. I am highly unlikely to use them again.
