We just ordered tiles from this company for our hallway and downstairs toilet. We have just had them laid and they look absolutely spectacular. We really appreciated how quickly we were able to get the samples too so that we could make an informed decision on the tiles. I received a call to confirm the order which I really appreciated. Saves receiving the wrong thing and being sure about a delivery date. We went for the checkerboard tiles and I liked that I didn't have to order separate white tiles and black tiles like many other companies. My only critic is that their delivery service is curbside only and our house is up stairs. This wasn't too much of an issue because my husband was around but if an older person orders or if it were just me I would have struggled to accept the delivery. Would really recommend changing this.

I am writing this review to warn others before they spend thousands of pounds with Floors of Stone. We purchased Light Jerusalem tumbled limestone for our kitchen after being assured by staff that it was a robust, premium, and relatively "trouble-free" product. What we actually received was a batch of stone that I believe failed any reasonable quality assurance.

The Product Issues:
The tiles supplied are not fit for purpose. While we understand that limestone is a natural product, the batch we received is of incredibly poor integrity.

Excessive Pitting: Virtually every tile has 50% to 75% pitting. These aren't "natural features"; they are deep holes that trap dirt instantly, making the floor impossible to keep clean in a domestic kitchen.

Structural Weakness: The stone is alarmingly soft. In several areas, the integrity is so poor that the stone can be picked away by hand.

Misleading Maintenance: We were told this was a low-maintenance option. We have since had the floor professionally cleaned and resealed three times in a single year, yet Floors of Stone had the audacity to suggest we have been "misled" by the cleaning companies rather than admitting their stone is the problem.

The Customer Service Failures:
Dealing with their Customer Service Manager has been an exercise in frustration. Information I passed onto the company is then used to suggest that we had a faulty installation and that we have caused the problems.

Hidden Requirements: The company now claims we should use epoxy resin filler on the tiles. This was never mentioned at the point of sale. To expect a customer to manually fill and sand hundreds of holes in a "premium" product is ridiculous.

Refusal to Inspect; Despite multiple invitations to view the floor in person, the company flatly refuses to conduct a site visit. They prefer to hide behind photos and claim the floor "looks like their showroom," completely ignoring the physical degradation of the stone we are describing.

No Complaints Procedure:When we asked for a formal complaints policy, we were told they simply "don't have one." They have been dismissive, patronising, and defensive.

Conclusion:
Floors of Stone seems to rely on the fact that once a floor is installed—especially around a high-end DeVOL kitchen—it is incredibly difficult and expensive to remove. They have shown zero interest in resolving this complaint. We have now been forced to involve a specialist and the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO). We have spent lots of money buying a small Devol Kitchen and Devol table. If we had been told about the possible problems with this floor we would simply have bought a Porcelain floor.

Please save yourself the stress and the money, buy your flooring from a company that actually cares about quality and customer rights.

Beautiful and affordable tiles. There was an issue with processing the order but I contacted customer services and Liam O’Rorke was extremely helpful, processed the order and even allowed me to collect the tiles from the warehouse so I could get them in time for my bathroom renovation. It also saved me £75 on delivery! Thank you so much Liam.

Sometimes small ordered are a pain but Daisy was amazing. She took time to explore my needs. Checked if the warehouse could trim the tiles to my needs and get the delivery to me in perfect timing and excellently protected. Star quality is hard to find but I know there is no other place I will be recommending for Floors of Stone tiles. Thank you Daisy. You made a purchase a delight.

Ellie and Liam within the company have been very helpful with my queries on the type of stone floor I wanted, sending additional photos for reassurance and checking the order and delivery date were all in hand. We received an excellent level of support from Daisy at Floors of Stone. Our deliveries were quite complicated but she made every effort to help them go as smoothly as possible. Following some challenges with our first delivery of 20sqm of wooden planks she initiated a change to the delivery process to help with our second delivery of 40sqm of flooring. She was also attentive on calls and emails and ensured we had the best possible experience of Floors of Stone. We love the flooring, it's a very high standard of product and suites our home very well.

Customer service was great - super friendly and reliable. Tiles have just arrived and they are a beautiful, quality product. Would definitely recommend Floors of Stone.

Highly recommend! I was impressed from the get-go with Floors of Stone because of how well they presented their sample pack. After ordering countless samples from various companies, some of which turned up broke with no note to say which company it was from, I was blown away by the quality and care taken by Floors of Stone to present such a helpful and well-packaged sample pack. Their customer service is fantastic. Molly was incredibly helpful throughout via email and brought my vision to life. I’m so overjoyed with my terracotta floor in my kitchen and it’s the first thing people mention when they come in. It’s definitely the star of the show!

Very happy with the product - great price and no breakages. Katie and Morgan were very helpful, with timely and detailed communication. No issues with the delivery - courier was happy to wait while I quickly checked for damage but there was none.

Really good personalised service. You can call them and ask knowledgeable staff about the tiles you like. I ordered the beautiful checkerboard flooring which arrived safely, a member of staff called me same day to check the order was satisfactory. Then when we were let down for the wall tiles delivery by a big warehouse company on the week of fitting I ordered alternatives from Floors of Stone as they do an express delivery. The tiles were much better quality than the ones I’d chosen elsewhere according to the tiler for only a small price increase. You do pay for delivery but it is an excellent service in my experience. Our new bathroom looks really luxurious even though it’s just a normal small bathroom the tiles have done wonders.

From request to quote to delivery Liams customer service was excellent. I over ordered on tiles and he also made that process really simple down to directions to site to return them and having Tom the yard manager waiting to offload quickly. The tiles arrived undamaged and are really good quality - on one breakage when laying 48sqm.

Exceptional customer service from floors of stone, in particular Daisy. She was fantastic, very friendly, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately in the end the tiles I purchased were not quite right for the space intended, due to the size and not quality. Daisy made this process as stress free as possible and communicated throughout to keep me informed of what the process was with the haulers and returning the tiles, keeping me informed at every stage. Great service!
