I bought a pair of frameless Foster Grant reading glasses and within a couple of days they fell apart!
As they were not cheap I contacted Foster Grant to request a refund or replacement only to be fobbed off with "take it back to the shop you bought it from". As that's in England and I'm in the Isle of Man that's not a realistic option as it would cost me several hundred pounds to get back to the shop, that, unfortunately, didn't seem to matter.
Gee thanks Foster Grant for your dreadful customer service. Whatever reading glasses I buy in the future they most certainly will NOT be Foster Grant.
For a company that pushes a name for quality, their products (at least this one) isn't good quality at all, it's expensive rubbish.

Foster grant frameless type reading glasses. Around £20 price sold in store, had 2 pairs different strengths.
Only minimal use as have varifocals. When tried them vision good without moving to other positions, unfortunately the minimal frame design/manufacture is no good as both pairs have broken / fallen apart, screws fell out lost so would not advise those types.

These reading glasses are such poor quality. The first pair broke within seven weeks. So, I took them back to the shop and chose a different pair that I thought would last longer. They lasted 10 days before a screw came out. After the second pair broke, I went to my local high street opticians and ordered a cheap pair that come with free lenses as long as I pay for the frames. The frames at the opticians were cheaper than the Foster Grants. Okay, I have to wait a week for them to be made, but they'll be tailor-made for my eyes, and much better quality.

Fell apart after a couple of weeks. Waste of money

I needed a pair of reading glasses ASAP and my local pharmacy sold FG. Never bought this make before. Really pleased with my purchase and extremely good value and contemporary compared with other suppliers/manufacturers that I use (Boots). They do the job they were bought for

For the price, FG’s are excellent. I use them for knocking around in places where I don’t want to risk damaging my Tag, Hackett, Ray Ban, Armani and Oakley glasses. The beach, the pool, and the garden spring to mind as places where I can afford to be a bit more carefree when leaving them lying around. Better to damage or lose a pair of 10 quid petrol station glasses than my other more pricey ones. The thing is this - I’ve still found them to be robust enough so long as reasonable care is taken. No complaints here. I’ve had a pair of FG Wayfarers and Aviators for a few years now and have no complaints.

Bought three pairs of reading glasses, All of them fell apart ,the arms fell off and they will not mend. Total waste of money . You can get better quality from the £ shop. How they have not been pulled from the shelfs is beyond me. They are dangerous especially is you have small children , the screws fall out and are incredibly hard to find. Foster Grant sort your act out!

Bought a pair from Tesco, nice looking but stupid, stupid, STUPID Packaging, impossible to cut through, had to use a knife which resulted in a scratch across the lens. I don’t understand why you use a cable tie that is impossible to remove without a blade! 😡

Absolute junk. Literally the last 5 pairs have broken. Frames have snapped, screws on the arms have stripped out. No more. Wouldn't have another pair for free.

28 quid I paid for a pair of sunglasses and the quality is appalling, I certainly will not buy another pair ever

FG's reading glasses cost me £12.00 for a pair of 3.5 readers. One month later they broke across the top. Hoped it was a one off so bought another pair from some place far from home, 2 weeks later frame cracked and lens fell out!! Honestly they are just cheaply made junk now and barely worth a couple of quid at best. I have now discovered a much better product that look great, last a lot longer and only cost £2.00....get yourself to Primark, their reading glasses are great!

Absolute rubbish. Frames of very poor quality and poor fit compared with my previous pair. Loose screws on arrival also.
Arm connection to frame broke with less than 2 weeks of normal use. My last pair of FG metal frame reading glasses lasted very many years, hence I ordered another pair, I should have checked the reviews first.

My second pair of glasses in about 2 months and each pair has fallen apart and they can’t be mended…a complete waste of money…£40 down the drain!! Don’t buy!!

I would give this site no stars PLEASE DO NOT ORDER. placed an order cam to £15.50 with delivery. took the payment no confirmation just said oops there is a problem. It did this twice. so £31 pending in my account. On using the web chat you will get an american that cant help. Then rang phone number after an hour still no call back. Rang again to be told the billing address didn't match. surely this would have flagged up before the authorization for my card payment. so they took payment no email and ive spent 3 hours and 5 phone calls. i was told i would have to wait 3 days until it is returned in my bank. The glasses are well rated but be aware their website is rubbish and customer service is slow and unhelpful when you get through to them so if you have time to waste good luck if not go to specsavers it would be quicker.

I purchased a pair of foster grant glasses from sainsburys 4 weeks ago the arm dropped off not having the receipt I took them back to sainsburys an they gave me my money back

I could have bought cheaper ready specs, but decided to spend £15 on Foster Grant specs, they lasted three weeks until the arm fell off.

Polarised sun glasses received in 2 days of ordering. They are great quality and look lovely.i was going to buy from boots as I usually do but they had very low stock in and I decided to try Foster grant. I think these are actually better quality at around the same price. Glad I bought them

Excellent glasses. Received my order my only gripe is you didn't send a dispatch email. But glasses are fab. If you order from them remember to use discount code. Just phone them and they will give it out over the phone. I got 25% off.
