Avoid! Overpriced and not worth your time
I completely agree with the other posts on this site and wish that I had taken heed before signing up. I signed up for the Data Science with Machine Learning & AI Career Accelerator in 2025. I had high hopes due to the fact that it was associated with the University of Cambridge and had links with numerous well known companies. I was a little concerned that my level of coding was not up to the required standard but was given reassurance, asked to take a coding test which I passed with no problem and then the course began.
Right from the start the course was confused and hard to follow - I could have forgiven this if the teaching was as I expected but it was way below. There is one online lecture per week and an online Q&A - these are open to all - meaning up to 90 students to 1 tutor! The tutor was not able to control question asking etc and so the session often went off track so we would get through only a portion of the material.
The marketing information states that the course should take approx 20 hours per week. Most of my fellow students found it was taking them far longer and they were still not fully understanding the subjects.
Those without a professional coding background struggled in particular as new concepts are introduced on a weekly basis, with little explanation and almost no time to practice. The content bears no relation to the test set to determine whether you have the knowledge to enter the course.
The weekly materials are released on a Monday lunchtime and the lecture is on a Wednesday evening - if you don't have chance to do the work in that small window, its very hard to follow - this isn't conducive for part time study whilst working.
I know many people wished to withdraw during the first module but did not as you only get 50% of the high cost back. I have asked to withdraw on the basis that the course does not meet the standard that it promised but am still in dispute about a refund.
My advice is not to be sucked in by the brands involved - it is overpriced and I really feel that they only care about making money, not about providing quality education.

As you're aware, we noted your concerns early on and proactively reached out during week 5 to offer additional support. While we respect your decision not to pursue the support offered, and to ultimately withdraw from the programme, we remain firm in our commitment to providing each learner with the support needed to succeed.
Regarding our refund policy, this is transparently communicated at enrolment and consistently applied across all our learners. Although we understand your frustration, these guidelines were fairly and appropriately followed in your case.
Given that our learners' success directly drives our own, ensuring that every learner feels adequately supported and equipped to succeed, remains our highest priority.

Poor course delivery for the high price
I did the Product Management Career Accelerator from Oct 2023 to June 2024.
FourthRev was great at marketing and selling the course to me, reassuring me of the quality of the course and the job opportunities off the back of it.
However, from the first day of onboarding until after finishing the course, I remain disappointed with the poor quality of FourthRev's delivery of the course support and structure.
Some examples of FourthRev's poor quality:
- Course is advertised as having product leaders (plural) teaching the content, when in reality you get 1 facilitator who you have face-time with and the other "product leaders" are simply in pre-recorded videos in course content. So if you're looking for networking opportunities with multiple product leaders, this is not the place.
- Employer Project is interesting as you get to work on a "real life" problem with a real employer, but you don't actually get much face-time with them so it doesn't actually feel very "real".
- Support Managers are assigned to learners and are meant to provide admin/pastoral support, however they are slow and require chasing in order to respond to simple questions (e.g. link not working in course content). Considering this is meant to be a fast paced course where new content is learned each week, this is not acceptable.
- Some inexperienced "product managers" grade your assignments. Feedback is generic and unhelpful.
- Course is advertised as having product leaders (plural) teaching the content, when in reality you get 1 facilitator who you have face-time with and the other "product leaders" are simply in pre-recorded videos in course content. So if you're looking for networking opportunities with multiple product leaders, this is not the place.
- Course assignments are meant to be graded like Master's degrees, but having done a BSc and MSc, I can say that the confusing requirements and structure of assignment tasks and grading rubrics felt very unprofessional and not like a Master's degree.
Overall I thought FourthRev advertised a meaningful and high quality course, however their poor organisation and support of the course tainted my overall experience. For the high price you pay for their courses, I would expect better quality organisation and more real opportunities to learn with different product leaders.

Firstly, we acknowledge your concerns around live interaction with product leaders. While the programme is primarily asynchronous (and by design, in order to offer flexibility to working professionals), we recognise how important live engagement can be. In response to feedback like yours, we’ve since introduced an initiative where associate facilitators, previously active only in the student community or 1:2:1’s, now also attend selected live sessions alongside the primary facilitator. This enhancement aims to provide more varied, industry insights and voices while maintaining the flexibility of asynchronous learning.
We’re also disappointed to hear that you experienced delays in receiving timely support. That’s not the standard we aim for, and we’ve since taken steps to tighten our internal response times and ensure our support team is better equipped to assist learners quickly, particularly where access or content issues may impact progress.
The Employer Project is a core part of our programme, and we appreciate that limited face-time with employer partners can be disappointing. While this format is partly shaped by the availability of senior stakeholders, we continue to explore ways to make these engagements feel more interactive and connected.
And then finally, with regards to assignment feedback and academic quality, your comments have been noted and shared with our team. We're continuously working to improve clarity in assessment expectations, as well as the consistency and depth of feedback provided.
It’s unfortunate that your experience didn’t match the high-quality standard we strive for, and we thank you for highlighting these areas. Your feedback directly contributes to how we continue to improve the programme for future learners.

Poor value for money, but some good teaching
Poor value for money because of administration and execution, although the primary teaching was good.
I did the Product Management Accelerator with FourthRev from October 2023-July 2024. I was lucky to have an excellent lesson facilitator who delivered value, and have therefore given this two stars. However, FourthRev does not fulfil many of the promises made during selling and advertising this course:
- “Contact time” with the facilitator was limited and restricted to one facilitator only, where they had advertised contact time and teaching with several industry experts. Instead, we got short YouTube videos from these experts instead of any live discussion time.
- Most of my interaction was with success managers, who are not subject matter experts but rather there to assist with administrative issues, whereas this was misleading in the advertising. Additionally, administrative issues were either not addressed at all, or took many months to rectify impacting assignments
- The program was poorly executed and administered
- During advertising I was informed that we would be connected with and work with employer partners, and have access to such networks. The employer project felt like a tick box exercise to service this without real engagement with the employer partner
- The worst part was when FourthRev attempted to sell us paid job opportunities, ie. We pay hundreds of pounds for a “guaranteed internship” that doesn’t pay us. It took a lot of back and forth to convince them that this practice is illegal.
TLDR: If you are lucky enough to have an excellent facilitator like I did, this course will provide some value, but is not worth nearly how much they charge for it for all of its issues.
