Took a little too long and transfer…
Took a little too long and transfer from PayPal isn't great. I'd rather have an Interac payment. It would be much better. I do appreciate the offer and service though.

Thanks for the review and for using our FlyerFunds offer, Dan. We paid out your rebate in around 30 days which is a fairly normal lead time. We try to pay as fast as possible, but a number of factors go into how long it takes to confirm the transaction on the backend with the institutions. This can result in some rebates taking longer, and some taking shorter amounts of time.
Regardless, we appreciate the feedback and hope you'll consider using FlyerFunds again in the future! :)

Scammers
Scammers. Applied through their website. I waited more than 3 months. Going back and forth with customer service. I had to call the bank myself to verify and get the reference number to the credit card I applied to. Updated the reference number and I got an answer back stating ‘there is no application to this reference number confirmed from the bank’ and closed my file….what a scam and not wanting to payout the $150 and getting someone to apply for a credit card.

This complaint is in relation to a BMO credit card application. We followed up three separate times with the BMO credit card affiliate team to attempt to confirm this customer's rebate, using two different reference numbers the customer provided, and BMO was unable to find a credit card application that was attached to either of those reference numbers.
Since BMO cannot find a credit card application with either reference number, we are unable to confirm that this customer was approved for the credit card in question, and thus, cannot pay out the rebate.
I've got my cash bonus just a bit over 1 week
I've got my cash bonus just a bit over a week after my application was approved, this is the fastest I've gotten compared to another platform which took a bit over 2 weeks. For me, 2 weeks is already ok for me to wait till my cash bonus gets received, so Frugal exceeded my expectation. The whole process from start to finish was easy and smooth, no complications at all. I would repeat as long as the experience remains exceptional!

ITIN application
I recently used FrugalFlyer to assist with my ITIN application. While the process was impressively quick, I felt the $149 fee was not justified given the lack of personalized support or detailed guidance on next steps. The forms were auto-generated without clear instructions for completing the submission, which left me feeling uncertain about the process.
Additionally, I reached out to Reed with a question regarding my application and received no response. There was no follow-up support whatsoever, which was especially disappointing given the cost of the service.
The lack of communication and support makes it hard to recommend. I believe this service could be improved by offering timely responses to customer inquiries and providing clearer instructions or follow-up guidance for ITIN applications. It was clearly generated by a software.

I am sorry to hear this was your experience. I am generally quite responsive to emails sent to itin@frugalflyer, at most I take a couple business days to reply. I don't see any unanswered emails for ITIN customers over the past few weeks, so wondering if I somehow just missed it or it went to junk. If you provide your email I can look for it.
Regarding the value of the service - yes we make use of software to complete our 1040NRs. Almost all tax professionals make use of software to automate a lot of their work. And our service is vastly cheaper than any of our competitors. So I respectfully disagree on that point as it isn't relevant whether we use a software or manually complete forms. The product you receive is the same.
