UPDATE: The reply from Frugal Flyer confirms my initial rating of the experience. There was no acknowledgment of my experience with email notifications being absent. The context they provided on the decline was never communicated to me directly. Referring me to an FAQ with the answer being "Possibly" was the cherry on top.
My overall experience has been very negative. I applied for a rebate that ended up being declined without any context and without any notifications. Even though I've been actively using the credit card I registered via their own portal.

Hi Arnaud,
We send multiple emails to alert you to check on your rebate status on your rebate dashboard or on your rebate application page. We update the rebate status for our customers daily, as soon as we hear back from the institution.
Ultimately, rebate status is determined by the financial institution and it is then communicated to us whether you are eligible for the rebate or not. Although rare, sometimes the rebate can be declined by the financial institution. In these cases, we do not receive any additional information as to why you were not eligible for the rebate.
However, by the structure of your reference number, it appears that your application was completed in branch. If that is the case, that is the likely reason for the denial, and I would direct you to the relevant item from our FAQ:
Q: Will I receive FlyerFunds if I finish my application in branch?
A: Possibly. If you continue an application in branch that was submitted online, it may be attributed to Frugal Flyer. However, it may depend on the institution, the in branch associate, and other factors out of our control. Ultimately, if the approval cannot be attributed to Frugal Flyer, then the application will not be eligible for FlyerFunds.
Regardless, I am sorry you had this negative experience and hope you would consider using Frugal Flyer again in the right circumstances, knowing that this was an institutional decision and not likely to have resulted in a different outcome no matter which rebate provider was chosen.

Thank you for the review. We work to get rebates paid as fast as possible. Numerous factors, both user and institution-specific, but out of our control, contribute to how long it takes before we can confirm a rebate transaction with our partner. This means that yes, two people can apply at the same time and one may get paid faster.
The only way for the payment timeline to be truly consistent would be for us to artificially delay paying out rebates for a set amount of time for everyone, as some other rebate providers do. We don't want to do it this way as then everyone gets paid slower...

Easy cash
Application sign up for a BMO promo was very easy. Make sure to read carefully though. I was kind of in a rush. The screenshot of my approval email said the last 4 digits of my savings account number but I needed my checking account number for verification. I put down my savings account number and didn't realize till about two weeks later. Emailed them, let them know my mistake and they got back to me within 24hrs, told me it is fine they are in contact with the bank for verification. Got money in my PP a week or two later! SO easy! My promo app happened around end of October, 2024
