Being a retired Coast Guard Chief i was looking for a product that would work well and be easy to run for my newly formed small business. after about a year of research we decided to go with the pro 48 machine. We are very pleased and now are waiting on the second machine which is going to be the pro 24 that will be used not only in the shop but also at shows and for eight week in Bush Gardens Theme park during their Food and Wine Fest which we have signed a contract to be a vendor at. i would like to say a big thank you to Scott and Lincoln for all their help along the way, also to Nick GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The company is top notch from sales to service. I’ve owned a pro series machine going in two years and no issues. When I’ve had questions there were many staff members to help me out. And when you need a good laugh (and good advice) check out FSL TV the Host Nick and Waker are great.

Full Spectrum Muse Laser - Love
I have the Muse Laser and Love it!! I use the Muse Laser for my Handbag Business. I make Cork Handbags accessories, and I use the Muse to help me cut out bags and wallets, engrave / cutout designs and laser logos among other things. Having the Muse as apart of my business has taken my handbag business to the next level and has helped me standout!!
My Sales Rep BJ even called a few months after I Purchased my Muse to see how everything was going with my Laser which I was having a small issue and BJ helped me get in contact with Frank from customer service for my specific issue and Frank was awesome and helped me fix my small problem with no issues.
I also love that Full Spectrum has a Facebook Community Forum for members to post what we make or ask questions. Full Spectrum (Walker & Nick) also hosts once a week live in Facebook a Laser Themed discussion to teach new processes and techniques. They also take live questions from Facebook and YouTube to help with anything we need. If I miss the live Session I watch the replay to make sure I didn’t miss out on anything important or new!

I love our MUSE
I love our MUSE! It’s been a fun 1.5 years, learning and creating. My wife has even taken over the machine and I have to ask permission to use it - haha. The online RE3 is intuitive and easy to use, really like no other laser software today. Really happy we went with Full Spectrum Laser’s MUSE, after tons of research; we made the right decision.

great value in the middle price ranges
They make owning a decent entry level laser easy. In my experience, they have the best software in their price range.
They provide a lot of educational material, and support in English, in the US via email and phone, which is helpful if you have non-urgent requests. Shipping turnaround and spare parts ordering could be easier, but the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
The machines provide good quality for the money and lower points of entry than their commercial competitors, but higher quality than the eBay-only vendors.

I love my Muse!!!!
My wife ordered us an FSL Muse and we love it. When it arrived, it was packaged exceptionally well with only a minor ding (the top "shell" had popped free...not FSL's fault and easily fixed with some concussive maintenance). Was able to set it up and get the laser aligned in an afternoon. The software (RE3) is simple to learn and there's plenty of YouTube instructionals (from both users AND FSL). Also, Nick and the rest of the Customer Service team are quick to help out (they're a small team, but once you get to a rep they won't stop until you're squared away!).

Laser never worked right from day one
Laser never worked right from day one. I worked with customer service extensively, and though they sent replacement parts it still never work and they were out of ideas and I spent many many hours replacing things with no success.
It works occasionally, but most of the time I have to reboot to make sure the machine gets an IP, then when I start my cuts it freezes.
Finally, even after upgrading to a double UPS they blamed the power in my building and left me hanging.
It works sometimes, but super frustrating when it doesn’t.
Would not recommend.

As much as I would like to give more stars it’s just not possible. The machine, when it wants to run, runs ok. The customer service is the worst of the worst. On hold for nearly 20 minutes every time, then the call drops. When you get through the help is adequate.

Good engraver, lacking tech support
If you are familiar with laser engravers this is a good machine. Technical support is lacking, and this has been a historic issue. If you have a full time job and this is a paying hobby getting technical support that fits into your busy schedule will be difficult. Took me over 5 answered/returned calls and 8 hours on the phone over a month long period to resolve an issue with a dip switch not properly set from FSL. This resulted in the loss of the primary customer I used as used as justification in my purchase. Any further issues I have had I have used other resources to resolve.

I like my laser system and hope to use…
I like my laser system and hope to use it for a long time. Some things to consider.
1. When I first purchased my laser system it didn’t work. There was a dent on the top of the main door and a misalignment of the magnet close switch. I complained and never got response.
2. Would like to see better documentation available.
3. Would like to see email updates on “how to” with different aspects of the system.
4. Would like recommended power/speed settings chart to make set-up and cutting quicker and easier. Sometimes spend too much time figuring out these settings.
5. Like the look of my system.
6. If possible would like alignment of mirrors easier to do.
7. Software is okay, would have liked to see some updates to improve use.
8. Would like to see a way of keeping notes in cutting files. IE: sometimes I cut different thickness’s with same file. A place to store the different speed/power settings would be nice.
9. Would be nice to see example files sent via email to see different ways of using.
10. All and all a nice system; as a Engineering Consultant I use the system a couple times a month.

Had a bit of a hiccup at the start of a technical issue. Online response time was slower than average, phone support probably would have been better but our schedules never aligned to speak. Once I brought attention to the time it took for support they provided me with a discount and covered shipping on the replacement part. I appreciate the help and the discount. Shipping was super fast, part arrived next day.

Our school has a strong Design Thinking…
Our school has a strong Design Thinking and Maker Education program. We were fortunate to receive a grant to purchase a Full Spectrum 36x24 Pro laser. (We had been using a Hobby 20x12 for over four years.)
The buying process was painless. I was pleased to learn that the 36x24 had been upgraded from 60W to 90W. The machine arrived securely crated and with no damage.
I have four recommendations:
1. Note in your product description the dimensions of the shipping crate. It didn't occur to us at the time of ordering that the crate might not fit through a doorway. Fortunately, we were able to remove the divider between two exterior double doors to bring the crate into the building. Our makerspace also has double doors. Whew.
2. Apparently, the manual for the 36x24 is an adaptation of the hobby laser manual. The manual recommends that, if bubbles appear in the laser tube, you can raise one end of the machine to help clear them. This works great on a 20-pound tabletop machine, but not if the machine weighs 400 pounds.
3. Improve the control panel interface!! It's confusing on the 20x12, and no better on the pro model.
4. Use a bit more care in selecting the exhaust fan and air pump. The included fan and pump are cheap Chinese products--noisy and of questionable build quality. It wouldn't hurt to supply a longer six-inch exhaust hose, as well.
Looking forward to getting to know the machine.

Very quick resolution to an issue with…
Very quick resolution to an issue with the laser. Was covered under our extended warranty (which we purchased). Cost us $20 to ship our part and they waived the shipping on their end for the power source unit.

I haven't had any problems with the laser at all. The only problem is I don't like the web based program. Not this one in particular, but any on them. Also you have to be in proximity to the laser for the program to work.
