Avoid avoid avoid - over priced and will rip the customer off. Kirby vacuum sales approach. Engineer nice man but sales team were Dick Turpin - thank heavens I had other quotes and they were £250 cheaper. Avoid this company

same experience as others Wudhus Limited through GDF Wakefield, is this how they sub works out ??? couldn't give price had to sit in van couldn't really hear over the phone but needed door fixing, then decided to look into cost of part ... ripped off I have emailed them and told them, hopefully they will do the decent thing and refund part of the monies paid.

Wanted garage door repaired the fitter said it needed new cables and cones he wasn’t allowed to give a price someone from his office had to ring me while he sat in his van . They quoted £300 I said absolutely not , she then said £180 I said far too much and don’t bother. Got a local repair man charged me £120 and came same day.

Awful company - misrepresented what they were doing when quoting; and, quoted for something different to what we got. What we got was a £230 part; it took an hour to fit. I then got charged, not according to the heavily overpriced estimate of £950 (despite the work completed being different from what was suggested); but £995 was taken from the account. I phoned up and said that the fitter had screwed the mover motor to the plasterboard, generally poor practice. The chap on the phone (customer service) was aggressive, and basically his view/approach was ‘that’s tough’. So circa £1000 for a part that cost about £230 retail and took an hour to fit; not a bad profit. Total rip off firm!

Fixed garage door took around 45 mins charged £295 abs ridiculous overpriced service unfortunately the tenant needed to be in garage so had to do it. No wonder they come straight out to do work they’ll be making a fortune😡

My elderly mother got charged £160 for replacing a couple of screws. These then came out two months later. Company claimed they’d carried out a ‘mini service’ not a repair and so the work wasn’t guaranteed. Mum still requested they come out again as she wasn’t sure where else to go. After promising to come out on two consecutive days they failed to come out so we got involved and cancelled. Not impressed

Booked 8-1 time slot online and had confirmed via text, mid morning a very polite lady rang to confirm 8-1 advising we’d get a call 1 hour beforehand.
At 12 noon we rang for an update, a young man with an awful attitude said “It’s an all day appointment” when I said not I was told “Well it’s not 8-1 it’s all day” and when challenged he said “Well are you a bundle of joy” arrogant or what - needless to say we cancelled the appointment - DO NOT USE !

Called out this company as my up and over garage door was sticking. An engineer attended and stated that the door needed a reset The company then contacted me with a price of £145 plus VAT. I declined as I thought this was expensive. However they came back with a price of £100 including vat. I asked the enduro carry on. He then turned off the power and turned it back on whilst holding the electric button. The door then started to work. £100. What a rip off.

The electric fob on my door failed and I called out a Wudhus company to fix the problem. The technician (Tim) installed a new circuit board and supplied fobs but charged a whopping price of £890. Three days later and first use the door will not open leaving my carer, I am disabled, with no way of getting the ramps out of the garage. The first time they can come out to break into my garage again is Friday (3 days) Poor work, service and no apology. Now Friday 4.10pm and no one has turned up.

Wudhus ltd /garage doors fixed trading under several different names. Do not purchase a roller shutter garage door from this company. Sold as safety device where garage door should stop if anything is obstructing it. It does not . damaged my car costing £590 to repair. The rep made all sorts of excuses saying his manager will call me. Nothing heard from them dispute follow up letter of complaint again no reply from the company.

Man came out to install a new aerial on the roof. Seemed nice enough and did the job. However he failed to tell me that he had damaged my guttering in the process. Now I have to pay for repair. Not happy. Go elsewhere.

I telephoned Wudhus Ltd to come look at my electric garage door and Mark G turned up gave me some professional advise about my door. He was very efficient did a great job and got my door working again. I would fully recommend them.

Had a problem with a garage door when the cable snapped. Phone and they attended the same day and replaced both cables at what was a reasonable price considering there were 2 fitters time plus parts. They arrived and asked for the best place to park the van and fitters had a very pleasant and helpful manner. They really helped me out with the same day service as couldn't shut the garage door.

My partner asked your employee to move his van from outside our house because I was coming back from work and I park my car on the front.Your employee said No.I came back and asked him to move it.He said No again.I asked him to move it up abit. He said No again.If this is the attitude of your workers I don't think I'll be using your services any time soon.

The company responded really quickly to my parents garage door issue . At considerable expense a new one was fitted . Turns out it’s rusty, dosen't lock and half the seal is missing . My parents are elderly and are very stressed by the situation. Wudhuskeep saying their supplier Garador is at fault .. it’s now been 8 weeks . Avoid this company

Hi I was quoted £354 for an outside aerial on my roof the engineer came he was very polite and went outside to have a look.Hec came back inside and said think ill put one up in your loft as I had an old aerial up on the roof.cut a long story short he still charged me the amount quoted for the outside one.no wiring was required as he used the wires off the old aerial screwed the top of the aerial into the rafters taped the hanging wires around the joists tuned in the TV and off he went lucky if he was half an hour. We never got all the channels. Phone calls since Monday no joy reported to trading standards and now my bank gor at least partial refund my email was blocked the company also do garage doors.

I contacted Garage Door Care online for someone to repair my garage door. They should have come on Thursday but I got a phone call with a recorded message saying they were running behind and couldn’t come but will come Friday. On Friday at almost the same time as the day before I got another recorded message saying the same but would be with me on Saturday. Guess what, on Saturday I could have set my watch with their repeated recorded message saying they will now come on Monday. They can take a jump, what an absolute non event, shocking customer service. I’ll be contacting a different company.

Garage Doors Fixed (GDF)

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Bunch of cowboys who are not interested in repairing your garage door, but more interested in replacing. They quoted over £8000 for a new one!!!!!! What an absolute joke. We had them out in January as our roller door had come off the spindle. As we had waited 3 days, of which we were promised each day they would come and didn't, the engineer felt guilty and repaired for free. We now have completely different issue where the door won't open with either the fob or manual override. Customer service is appalling, Olivia was rude and called me a liar (in effect), she deflected from the truth in an attempt to not have my business. They are also trading under numerous names: ddstafford.co.uk, garagedoorcare.co.uk and dawesdoors, gdfstafford.co.uk and garagedoorsfixed.co.uk As stated on their other sites on trustpilot, it's done for tax evasion. Don't deal with any of them. They are liars, thieves and try to swindle money from innocent people.
