Awful service. Do not use this company

I wish we could give negative stars as we paid £450 for a end of tenancy clean and upon arrival we was sent pictures of minor things in the property (a few wrappers etc) and of our landlords items such as a raditator in a cupboard.

We also received a picture of our oven.....but we paid them EXTRA for an oven clean soooo why are you sending a picutre?

Upon receiving the pictures they demanded £210 to remove 'excess'....there was no excess there was things to clean and there was the landlords items. We ultimately did not pay and they refused to clean the houst and stole £450. Luckily our landlord was supportive and had a very bad experience with our estate agents recommending subpar companies in the past.

I cannot stress how bad and unproffesional this company is. Please please please avoid and do not let them rob your money!

Wow! A truly five star experience from beginning to end. I was recommended to Gentle Touch Star and they were fantastic. I had to organise my brother’s end of tenancy clean for him as he is terminally ill and had to move in with me in Devon. I was impressed with everything from the swift initial response to my inquiry email, the empathy shown to me when I explained the circumstances, the efficiency and speed at which the clean was carried out, the hassle free organisation for collecting and returning the keys, right through to a great amount of photos of the each room after the clean. The rates were super competitive too which really was the icing on the cake.

Gentle Touch did a great job on my end of tenancy clean-up. It is now in a far better state than when I first moved in!

They are an expensive company and will charge you a significant amount for end-of-tenancy cleaning. Additionally, your landlord might deduct these charges from your deposit.

They make false promises or guarantees about rectifying any cleaning issues that arise later, claiming they will clean it for free, but they end up asking for more money to do so.

They seem to have a side business with building management for end-of-tenancy cleaning, which results in you being charged twice.

To avoid extra charges, ensure that everything you want cleaned is specified in writing, including hall carpets, sofas, mattresses, bathrooms, cupboards, and chimneys. Otherwise, they may leave out additional items, and building management will charge you a hefty fee.

Their workers are skilled but do not understand English. If you provide any cleaning instructions at the house, they might not comprehend, and there will be no guarantee on that task. It is better to email your instructions.

They do not clean the balcony unless you specifically mention it as part of your flat. Be sure to mention the balcony, chairs, tables, and everything else that needs cleaning.
