No fitting room — unbelievable and unacceptable
It’s honestly absurd that this store doesn’t have a fitting room. For a place that expects people to buy clothing, refusing customers the chance to try anything on is completely backward. If we could try items in-store, their sales would instantly go up — it’s common sense. Instead, I have to take everything home, try it on, then come back to return half of it. It’s a waste of time and energy, and I’ve simply given up shopping here because of it. A basic fitting room isn’t a luxury — it’s the minimum.

I have placed perhaps 5 orders from George at Asda over the last 9-12 months, and every single time there has been at least one item missing from my order, leaving with the stress of phoning to try to get my money back for the missing item, and being left without the item purchased.
The last two times I have had to chase for a refund. Really poor service and really no excuse for the lack of care and attention.

George Stand mixer
I bought the 600 watt stand mixer for butter making, it struggles but eventually gets the job done. But it makes a terrible mess, obviously not designed with any chef input. It gets cream all over itself and the surrounding area and even gets inside the mixer case, which is a future hygiene hazard

People are human and make mistakes apparently but they cant change the policy and send out the correct goods until they have the incorrect ones and wont expedite anything regardless of the fact that the recipient is going overseas on Tuesday. Last Monday a very lovely lady from Head Office called me regarding my review.
She confirmed that my order had now been cancelled, I would receive a full refund and also a £20 gift voucher for all the aggravation.
On Wednesday I received an email saying "Good new, my air fryer is on the way" so I immediately emailed head office telling them of the mistake and not to send it.
Today the EVRI driver turned up and didn't bother to ring my door bell. That's what you get for using EVRI. I only knew that somebody was outside because my dog barked. By the time I got downstairs, he'd scarpered and left the air fryer on my doorstep.
I emailed ASDA telling them and asking them to get EVRI back to collect it or get somebody from my local store to collect their air fryer, as because it is theirs, it is their responsibly to collect it.
I also phoned their customer care team in South Africa. At least they didn't cut me off today. I explained the situation and told them I AM STILL WAITING FIOR A SUPERVISOR TO CALL ME BACK.5 DAYS SO FAR!!!!!!!!
Isn't it shocking that the only way to get a response from ASDA is to leave s poor review.
And..... I HAVEN'T HAD MY MONEY REFUNDED OR MY GIFT VOUCHER!!!!!!

I phoned Asda again to speak with a manager. I was asked to explain for an 8th time why I wanted to speak to a manager, and as I declined to explain yet again, I was CUT OFF and the call disconnected.
ASDA , THIAS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE. YOU WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE MY MONEY, BUT NOW I WANT IT BACK, I KEEP BEING DISCONNECTED.
I bought a George air fryer which arrived last week. The first time I used it, unbeknown to me one of the rubber feet broke off, and I ended up with a chewy rubber foot in my mouth.
I spoke to Asda on the phone and to be fair - the guy I spoke was great.
He organised for my faulty air fryer to be collected. Apparently, once collected that is when the will arrange a replacement.
Well, that was last Wednesday and today (Saturday) I phoned to ask when I would get the replacement.
I was told it would be with me by next Thursday. No date, time - NOTHING... Just by next Thursday.
The guy I spoke to got quite upset that I asked for my money back and said that they need not send it to me.
I was told to refuse the item when the delivery driver turns up!
I pointed out that this was ridiculous and it was not the fault of the third party driver and upon saying this I was given a first warning!!!!!
The guy on the phone confirmed that I had not been rude, aggressive or hostile. I was given a first warning because I apparently refused to accept his instructions.
It takes up to 48 hours to get a supervisor to cll me back.
I called back twice, and on both occasions I was cut off.
I got through on the third time and asked if Asda have a policy of cutting customers off, and was told "Not really". That means yes, a little bit.
The lady I spoke to was lovely and said a manager would phone me back around midnight UK time, because there was a long list of customers to call back.
ASDA - Get your act together, and please can I have my money back for the faulty item I returned.

Worst experience ever with George.com. Customer service, warehouse, and delivery system all failed completely. Two weeks of waiting, damaged items, zero responsibility, and rude support staff. “Next-day delivery” is a joke and totally misleading. This is my second time facing the same problem. Absolutely unacceptable — 0 stars.

Worst shopping experience ever, bought a washing machine thanks to their useless delivery company its damaged and gone back, all I got was sorry but you'll have to wait 2 weeks for a refund no washing machine and no money to.buy another one fantastic eh also if you pay for instalation be prepared for the delivery folk to know Nothing about it.

Very poor customer service
Bought a microwave online. Don't use it every day but noticed an excessive amount of moisture in the oven. Contacted customer services and they said they would arrange for it to be collected by courier. Got email giving a 2 hour pick up timeslot only for the driver, Yodel, to come 2 hours early so I wasn't in. Went back to asda to re book collection. This time driver turned up but refused to take it as I didn't have a return label. Back again to customer services who just kept repeating the same thing and now have to rebook collection again so they can tell yodel what they need to do. Absolute joke and I still haven't got my money back.
Incompetent worst service ever
Ordered 2 X bedside cabinets, delivery was Tues, advsd it had changed, no reason. Got notification Wed to collect, arrived only one item there. No reason or clue when other item arriving. Phoned customer service to complain, couldn't take complaint but could tell me it got broken in transit and that I should cancel order and reorder. Too late I was home with one of them so she couldn't refund. Funny tho cos half a refund came today and process started for other one when I return it. I live half hour drive from store and would then have had 3 journeys and nothing that I've ordered. Waste of my time and petrol. Very poor service, very disappointed customer. Still waiting on callback too.

Incompetent company with terrible customer service skills. Never received most of the items ordered and no refund offered. Keep getting informed that someone will look into the matter but nobody ever gets back. Avoid using George online and go elsewhere!!
Ripped open box
Ordering was fine and pick up easy, except when I collect from store. It was open and ripped so can't be closed again. Not good as it is a Christmas tree and need to store it on the box.

I`ve ordered a microwave oven on 20th with 24th delivery (paid the extra fee for it) I made my whole day available as the delivery window was 9am-9pm (what a joke) Around 2pm got a message about my stuff has been delayed, no eta, nothing about is it coming on that day, next day or anything....As now, still "delayed"...they refunded the extra fee immediatly but no option to cancel the order! I wondering how legal is that.....Anyway..they are at least so bad like ASDA itself..Avoid at all cost
Don’t leave customers waiting
The bad thing about leaving customers waiting over 15 minutes for their click and collect parcel is that they have time to write poor reviews. It says it opens at 8, I requested the parcel at 8. The lady told me she was plugging her machine in and then went to work on self service checkouts! Um, ok.
