Unfulfilled collection dates, not acceptable customer experience

Second time I have ordered items for collection on a specified date and the items have not been delivered. What is he point of giving dates that you clearly cannot fulfill. The delays on both occasions have caused significant issues for us, I would not have ordered if I had been advised of the dates which have ended up outside of our requirements. Asda need to review their customer service, it's not acceptable.

Get your bank involved and it will be okay!

Just an update on my review a month later..In a nutshell, I never received my order and I tried everything I could to complain, I called, I emailed, I even wrote to the CEO. They didnt care in the slightest and werent going to pay me back. I was even blocked on an email address. My last option was to get my bank involved, which I did. And surprise, surprise, I got my money back 7 days later! So just make sure you write and complain, take screenshots of everything, A month later get your bank involved and you will get back what you are owed. Dont stress. Screenshot receipts and you´ll be fine. The bank will take care of it whether they like it or not.
I will never order anything from them again, they completely lost my trust.

George - More than disappointing

Have lots of 27L storage boxes with lids. Purchased 2 more sets of storage boxes, They arrived VERY poorly packaged. Very high proportion of broken items. Agreed to return 1 of 2 sets of boxes for replacement with undamaged boxes and lids. Replacements arrived with same ineffective packaging and very badly damaged, My reviews politely mentioned the above problems as MANY others did, but in more detail. They weren't used!

The returns process is a joke

The returns process is a joke. Despite returning in store the even manage to lose the return and make ou wait 14 working days before you can even submit a form, then will take forever to investigate and even longer to issue the refund even when the finally agree to it. A simpel return shouldn't take 2 months to process

Order not delivered

I placed an order which was meant to be delivered by DPD. I had a notification to say it had been delivered, but it hasn't been. The DPD driver who photographed it outside has a van and signed my name.
I'm having to chase for a refund!!!
George is showing it as delivered on my account, and I have no access to tracking info.

Returned an item - no refund

Returned an item, but as a 'third party item', it wasn't refunded automatically. I've had to call to initiate the refund.
Why oh why, do they use call centres not in the UK?
When I was asking the customer service agent three times to repeat himself (many times) it becomes very frustrating! He spoke so fast I couldn't understand him. Paying them for the number of calls they complete no doubt.
ASDA George really is the pits to order from.
Broken packaging, broken items as a general rule, and having to chase for refunds.

Worse service

am extremely disappointed with the service from George at Asda.

Their website does not provide correct information and is very misleading, especially regarding “Next Day Delivery”. I placed an order on 27/02 and PAID extra for next day delivery because I urgently needed the product. It was absolutely essential that it arrived the following day.

Not only did it fail to arrive the next day, but it also did not arrive the day after. It was only delivered two days after the purchase. To make matters worse, I received no communication or explanation whatsoever. I had to call them myself to find out what was going on, and the customer service representative simply said that the website does not make this clear and that “this is how it works”.

This is completely unacceptable and very misleading. Charging customers for next day delivery and then not honouring it, without any proper explanation or apology, is a total lack of respect.

I would not rely on their delivery promises again.

What a shame

Not only useless customer services but liars. Two "agents" promised to call me back and of course didn't. I would love to know if the owners/directors know what a shambles their company is in the UK? I am still trying to find a way to contact them. It is such a popular store and I have shopped there a lot, but I refuse to be treated as badly as they have and lied to.

What a shame! I have always liked GEORGE at ASDA and used them a lot both in store and on line. However, NEVER again (I mean it this time!) They are a complete SHAMBLES I placed an order with them for click and collect at the Brotherhood Store in Peterborough and went to collect it this morning to find the store closed for refurbishment and not reopening until 12 March!! This parcel contains a birthday present needed for Wednesday!
I called Customer Services to find out where my parcel was. They have taken my money but not provided the goods . The person I called did not know the store was closed! What??????
I was then told the store was accepting orders so perhaps I should go there again and check.
2 x phone calls, agents not listening, apologising but not doing anything, not believing the store is closed when I have told them it is because I have been there, and they haven't. Not allowing me to speak to a manager, not giving me the email address to contact head office.
A dreadful way to run a business and customer services. As much as the children's clothes are such good value I would rather pay more and get the service I deserve. NEVER EVER again George at Asda! You are a Sh*t show and the other reviews on here show that!

Is it too much to ask to have this…

Is it too much to ask to have this company actually put your items into packaging before they send them? I bought a duvet and yes it's in it's package but surely it needs to be protected in another outer bag of some sort? It arrived burst, of course. I'll never buy from here again. Tracking is useless and so is customer support. I see all the other reviews are 1 star, well done Asda.

Terrible customer service

Just phoned their call centre in goodness only knows where, about two parcels missing again! she said it says on her system they are on their way as it has for days she then said ring again tomorrow baring in mind they don't have a phone number on their site you have to Google it what usually happens is weeks go then they cancel your order as it's missing and give you no explanation.

Wow - Asda basically a scam organisation now

Wow! Asda basically stealing money from customers.

They took my order, received the payment and then just never sent it.

There is no email or chat function and the phone number just rings out. Not even a queueing system.

So there's no way to contact them. They just get to keep my money!

3rd time calling today for my refund…

3rd time calling today for my refund owed for damaged goods that never even arrived and for the one item that was delivered third time that I've arranged collection for that as it doesn't get collected so I have to wait until item is returned to get a refund on that item ...oh and then wait for up to 14 days. Ridiculous

paid extra for next day delivery now evri are telling me it could be tuesday or wednesday maybe which is 2/3 days not next day so what was the point of me paying extra also evri they use just dumped my parcel last time in hallway of block flats parcel went missing it states on my email from george parcels delivered 23rd so i think refund i paid extra next day delivery should be returned 161847731 so after complaint they refunded delivery but i am still sat not knowing when my order will arrive one from evri who are still saying today and other yodel not very good service now sat waiting almost 3 hrs over time given still not arrived from yodel

I was sent a mirror in a bag and inevitably it arrived smashed. I contacted customer services, asked by Sikelelwa to respond with photos. I did so, and never heard back. I emailed again and got silence. It's been two months!

Order delayed for no reason twice

I ordered a kitchen bin nearly two weeks ago which was due to be delivered in 3 days. First delivery was “delayed”, as was th second delivery nearly a week later. No explanation given, and I still don’t have my bin. Extremely frustrating

Disgraceful service BEWARE OF TRYING TO GET A REFUND. Orders 2 items and one of the items I received was completely different to what I ordered so I returned both items and requested a refund. After two phone calls ( waiting forever to be answered ) and three weeks later STILL NO REFUND. Absolutely disgraceful service and I will never order again from Asda . PLEASE BE AWARE ALL CUSTOMERS WHEN ORDERING FROM ASDA . You might not get your money back .

Appalling Customer service

Item was left out in rain late at night on an Ind Est. It was open, most parts missing and address label for another person so clearly a return. Courier was sent to collect but said we were closed. Provided CCTV of driver just standing looking at our door and not opening it! Came back next day to collect. I asked for refund as I was not impressed with service. But was told I had to have replacement. Went back and forth, being told by three people that parcel could not be stopped. But then I was refunded but not the postage. Had to go back again and seek refund for postage. The service is very low standard. Impossible to get to a higher level or call. Sad to say would never shop with ASDA again,
