You’d best hope you get lucky in the tombola!
Was looking for a hair and makeup provider and happily paid the full fee only to get a confirmed provider which from reviewing their portfolio was certainly not to the expected standard! If I shared their photos on here you would laugh. Obviously cancelled within 10 minutes of seeing who I had been allocated and now have the privilege of paying £14 cancellation fee for my efforts. Maybe better for massages etc but certainly NOT hair and makeup based on the draw you pay your money towards in the hope a provider who accepts is quality.

Upon review, we can see that the booking was placed from your end without selecting a preferred independent provider and was made available to nearby providers working with the platform. As a result, the booking was accepted by an available provider. Because a specific provider was not selected during the booking process, the assigned provider may not have fully aligned with your personal preferences or expectations.
While placing a booking, clients have the option to select their preferred or favourite providers. When a preferred provider is selected, the booking request is sent only to them, and only they will be able to accept the booking, helping ensure a better match for your needs. With this option, clients can review provider profiles, reviews, and portfolios beforehand and place a booking with the provider they prefer.
We would also like to clarify that all providers on the Blys platform are carefully screened professionals who meet requirements to provide the service. However, we understand that services such as hair and makeup are highly subjective, and individual preferences may vary.
Regarding the cancellation fee, as the booking had already been confirmed by the provider, the applicable charges were applied in line with the Client Cancellation Policy. If you have any concerns regarding a bookings, we are always here to review the situation and explore possible options and assistance.

Charged me without confirmation - complete waste of time
Absolutely terrible experience. I waited for two full days trying to get a booking confirmed and received no response whatsoever. After all that time chasing them, they finally "confirmed" an appointment for a day that didn't even work for me — completely ignoring my availability. To make matters worse, they still charged me despite never properly confirming the booking in the first place. No communication, no accountability, and money taken without a valid confirmed appointment. Would not recommend to anyone. Avoid.

My mum loves her Blys massage!
My mum, who lives in an aged care home, receives a massage from a Blys therapist every three weeks. On the weekend, when I asked her how last week's massage went, she was full of praise for her therapist - a perfect balance between kindness and gentleness, and a very satisfying, professional remedial massage. Mum is just delighted at the treatment she receives.

Venus was professional and friendly
Venus was professional and friendly. She arrived ahead of the scheduled time to set up and was very respectful of my home. The massage was gentle, but effective. Venus offered advice on things I could do after the massage to prolong the effects of the massage and prevent tension building up again
