I believe that I was misled by your representative. I understood that I was being offered gap insurance, which I was interested in, however when I was told the cost was £495 I realised that this was for gap insurance, key insurance.i had already told them i had key insurance
Motor policy excess. I had told them I was happy with my excess. It also included a feature that you keep all your insurances in one place.
Help if your car was in an accident.
I only wanted the gap insurance and didn't want the other four policies so I cancelled the policy and bought gap insurance elsewhere.

We have listened to your call in full and we are pleased to say that our advisor did a thorough job of explaining everything that was included in the CAP policy before any agreement was made. CAP is a combined protection product bringing together five valuable benefits, and all five were explained clearly during the conversation.
We want to reassure you that you were not misled. Had you told our advisor at the time that you only wanted the gap insurance element, she would absolutely have been able to help you with that as a standalone product. Unfortunately that was not raised during the call, and as CAP is sold as a complete package it was offered and explained as such.
We completely understand that on reflection it was not the right product for your needs, and we are glad that you were able to cancel without any difficulty and find a policy that suited you better.
