What an outstanding collaboration between Global Doors & the fitters Martindales, exceptional in every sense of the word. Two separate companies who provide an outstanding product and fitting service.

The Global Doors website was so easy to use, a lot of different door style choices, colours and fittings, we had a lot of fun designing our perfect door.

The best part was being in total control of the final design of what we personally wanted in our new front door, without any time constraints instead of being rushed and lead my an over eager salesman which we hate! And of course with salesman it's inevitable 'hidden costs' appear, not with Global Doors, you can clearly see the price with no hidden extras, which was just brilliant.

After designing our door and choosing the glass and fittings we submitted our order on a Sunday evening, we immediately received confirmation of our order within minutes and then a second email minutes later from Martindales confirming the surveyor appointment for the very next day, incredible!

The survey was carried out by a very competent and friendly man who explained options and answered our questions we had.
That same day we received the surveyor results and after checking the details we confirmed our order, within hours we were told when the door would be fitted, which was 05/08/2026.

When we saw the new door for the first time, we were so pleased with it, it was even better than we expected, extremely well made and very good quality. The glass we chose (FLAIR) is incredible, we had no idea of the finer detail in our choice of glass because of the limitations of the website, we could clearly see the design of the glass, but had not idea the glass is diamond cut and catches the light beautifully like crystal and has tiny little fern leaves etched into it, (which was not visible on the website) it's stunning.

Personally we think Global Doors should add a description to each type of glass they offer, just to clarify for future customers, or perhaps add High Definition photographs, or like us, you could just be over the moon with your choice when the door arrives as we were!

The fitters from Martindales were just brilliant guys from the moment they arrived they were so happy, smiling, friendly and a pleasure to deal with, they both worked to an incredible standard. Absolute brilliant service from both companies, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, which I all ready have to a family member who wants two new doors!

A huge thank you to everyone involved with our order, between both companies you have everything 100% right, many other companies should follow your lead and learn from the masters!

From my initial order through to the door being fitted has been a stress free experience - something I really appreciate in my later years!

Refusing a fair compromise on door height remake despite courier damage
I am leaving this review to urge Global Door management to review my file and reconsider their rigid customer service stance.
My items arrived poorly packaged and physically damaged by the courier. Upon inspecting the delivery, there was a mix of errors on this complex layout:
• Their Error: Global Door manufactured the side panel to the wrong width.
• My Error: Due to the confusing terminology on the website regarding a side panel versus a "flag" height, the door is 6cm too short, and the side panel is roughly 50cm too short. I own this measurement mistake.
The ordering process urgently needs an upgrade. The confirmation process lacks a detailed, visual technical diagram with multi-point dimensions. Text-only data is not sufficient and traps laypeople into errors. This is especially the case when ordering more complicated door frames with panels. Furthermore, the confirmation lists the overall height as “including frame and add-ons,” whereas the ordering software mentions cills and add-ons.
I actively sought guidance from Global Door during the ordering process because I didn't know what "add-ons" meant. I was advised that add-ons were only needed if a doorway was larger than normal, so I assumed I didn’t have any. This direct guidance heavily influenced how I interpreted their confirmation email; I had no idea their system lumped standard cills/sills into the "add-on" category. They are now rigidly claiming I should have known this, despite my effort to check it with them beforehand.
To their credit, customer service agreed to remake the side panel for free. However, they will not compromise regarding the door. Because the original door arrived physically damaged, Global Door must manufacture a brand-new door from scratch anyway.
Despite this, they refuse to let me pay a financial contribution to correct the 6cm height discrepancy on the new build sheet, rigidly insisting on cutting the replacement to the exact same size. The suggestion to use add-ons for a brand-new door is disappointing. Refusing a customer's offer to make a fair contribution toward this adjustment seems incredibly inflexible.
I am acting in good faith. I will gladly update this Trustpilot review to a 5-star rating the moment management contacts me to accept a fair cost-sharing compromise for the correct door hei

My custom made quality composite door was delivered in 2 weeks after I designed it on the easy to use global door website.
The website walks you through the whole process from initial measurements to suggestions to add the finishing touches to your chosen door style.
Supplied by a driver that showed care for what was on the wagon.
This has been a first for me but with online guides and the documentation received from global door fitting was relatively easy for anyone slightly handy.
Great experience overall and really pleased with our new composite rear door. It's a shame I can't post a photograph on here as I want to show off how good it looks lol

very unpleasant stressful eeprience from the start to finish. I ordered 2 composite doors from Globla doors, Before I paid for my orders the staff were calling me and following up on me, but once I had paid, i didnt hear back from them. I had to chase them to find them when the delivery would be and they gave me a few wrong dates, Eventua;lly when my delivery was bnooked for the 1st of May for both doors, they sent on ly one. I trook time off from work to be in at home only to recieve 1 door, They tried to shift the blame on their suppliers. The problem is I had paid a carpenter to fit them both on the same day and since the carpenter would have to return to my house on asecon occasion it would cost me £150 extra. Gloibal door staff anmely Jordan in orders and Sharon McNamee were very unempathetic and never bnothered to address my concerns. Eventually I just wanted to cancle my order and buy from anothe rsuplier as i was not prepard to lose more money and time from an unreliable and unscrupulous company like Global door.
