GRC Solar have been fantastic. Great communications and a reasonable price. Installation Team did a good job today: 14 x 500w panels up (third storey), 6kw Inverter in the basement and 2 x Hanchu 9.4kwh batteries down there too. Friendly and professional throughout. In the initial consultation, Andy helped demistify the process and despite a few changes to the final install today (pretty normally most accounts), the system was up and running flawlessly by about 3 PM. Looking forward to some tariff optimisation with Octopus and then slashing large lumps off this crazy £200+ a month electricity bill. I'm slightly obsessed with the Hanchu App at the moment, but so far so good. Highly Recommended. Looking forward to finalising all the paperwork and even getting some exporting going. Great Job guys. Mine was not a typical installation, but the service and attention to detail from GRC were exceptional. Despite their deserved popularity, their response and communication skills are fast, accurate, and make what can be a complex paperwork trail their business, to ensure that the customer is well and truly looked after. And that’s a phrase I haven’t used for 20 years previously….

Andrew from the start, Listened to what I wanted and then discussed the options for me.

Great overview and the quality with a marketing leading 12 years guarantee on the battery's.

Went for 14 Panels as have the best roof for solar captor and 3 x 10Kw Battery's with 7 KW Inverter, Gateway and EV Charger.

They have been back 2 times to changes some setting within my EV settings, My request as I having been having problems with my broadband and they proved to Virgin is was their router causing the issue. Johnathan one of the engineers was amazing with no requests being an issue and excelled every time above my expectations.

I have left leaving this review for 2 months to see how it all worked together and amazed how good the system is. Currently generating over 40KW per day and sending late 20's to the grid everyday. This will cover all costs of electric and daily surcharge and some.

Thank You, Team GRC Solar, I am already starting to recommend the team to family and friends as i discuss my system and what the saving are.

Just installed close to 20 solar panels & a 10 KW battery/inverter & EV charger with the help of GRC Solar. Really pleased with my experience with GRC Solar. Andrew explained the overall project timeline during sales discussions and then all things occurred as per that timeline. Engineers team who came on site couple of days were friendly and knowledgeable. They showed pre/post photos of installation and explained the app as well.

Excellent service from start to finish. The installation was completed professionally and to a very high standard. The team were punctual, knowledgeable, and kept everything clean and tidy throughout. Communication was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding at every stage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels.

The service has been absolutely first class from all the members of staff that we have dealt with. The products are all top quality. The app gives lots of information which is always current.

What made my experience great was being helped to purchase something i wanted but did not understand.I had spoken to other companies and they were determined to sell me what they had. GRC identified what exactly i needed for my circumstances, and then negotiated a price that i could cope with. I am a non tech granny the whole concept of solar was frightening both to my understanding and my finances. The boys of GRC have walked me through this step by step and i couldnt and wouldnt have done it without them.

From the initial call with Beth, we were really impressed with GRC. Really friendly people and no hard sell.
Andrew visited and looked at our requirements, explained everything very clearly regarding the various options and answered all our questions. Andrew also thought about future changes - eg if we decide to get an electric car (not yet!)
We were really happy with the proposal and signed immediately (we also had a quote from our energy supplier Octopus, which was not as competitive and had lower quality battery/ inverter).
On installation day, the guys arrived early (7:30am) as it was during the heatwave. Jonathan and George were great (apologies I can’t remember the young lads name but he was fab too). They got on with it and we just kept them topped up with cold drinks throughout. They explained what they would do, respected our property and showed us all the work once completed. They were finished by 1pm on one of the hottest days of the year.
We are seeing some great savings already and can’t wait to start selling energy back to the grid (registration takes a couple of weeks).

Andrew at GRC was very helpful and patient throughout and explained everything in understandable language. The guys fitting the panels were professional and again explained everything and cleaned up before they left. Since it’s been fitted Andrew has always been available if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend GRC.

The whole process from initial discussion to installation was taken at my pace allowing me time to get alternative quotes. This was the best deal I was offered. Installation was completed within five hours on the day promised and the installation team were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Follow up was prompt and bills reduced from the day it was installed. The installation was in October 2025 and I can safely say bills have been reduced by over 50%.

My wife and I had 21 solar panels fitted by GRC at the beginning of 2025. In the 18 months since then we have been delighted with the performance of the panels and the two batteries.
In that time the house has consumed a total of 11,500kWh but only 6,640 kWh has been supplied from the electricity mains grid. The other 4,860kWh have been generated from our roof panels.
In addition we have fed 2530 kWh back into the grid.
The combined effect has been to significantly reduce our electricity costs.
The installation was carried out neatly and efficiently with the minimum of disruption and we have not had to call on the services of GRC since the original installation.
I have now contacted them for the first time in 18 months to enquire about the cost of adding a third battery to increase storage capacity. The response has been immediate and very helpful and we remain totally satisfied with the service GRC have provided to us.

Great explanation of what is a minefield of options ,no pressure selling involved great bunch of guys to deal with ,already seeing the rewards of the installation ,looks great and an easy app on the phone to use which is set up by the team which shows everything thats going on with the system (14 Panels ,Inverter and Battery fitted )

They always replied to any of our questions and we had many in the beginning !!

Its a scary first step but these guys make it alot easier for you.

Cold Call from an automated Bot followed by a call from a Human being, I am registered with the TPS so shouldnt be receiving cold calls. I can show it was a cold call as the human being started asking for address details so they have no idea who they are calling following contact from the Bot.

Great staff great installation great answers to questions. What’s not to like!

Everyone involved at the company were excellent. Darren the surveyor was outstanding, he was so helpful and explained everything in great detail and had the initial quote back with us in 2 days. He was really professional and knew everything we asked. The installation team were excellent, with Jonathan, George and Brodie providing and excellent level of work. they were neat and tidy and were done by lunchtime. Ian, the owner then called to see how everything had gone with the installation that afternoon. I couldn't rate all of them highly enough. An excellent product and outstanding team.
