Been thinking of getting a battery and new inverter for several years to minimise electicity usage, prompted by huge rise in electricty costs, and wanting to make best use of very efficient solar panels bought 12 years ago (so glad I didn't skimp then on those versus cheaper panels). Andy did a first rate honest introduction to GRC. Certainly the warranties were a massive plus, and the reviews on line of the inverter another. The app for monitoring electicity generation / battery charging / export / usage is perfect and very user friendly. All of this plus a very competitive fitted price sealed the deal.
Mattie and Cody did a first rate job of installation, even to the point of fixing their wiring from the battery / inverter to the mains via a route I wanted rather than trunking. Thanks men.
Andy back today to collect payment whilst going throuh the excellent app (got it on my PC and Mobile since put in last Friday). Andy very open to me contacting him with any questions / thoughts / ideas going forward, but other than a review in a few months time, can't see any problems. Hopefully can sit back and enjoy the fruits of a good investment.

A VERY disappointing and in many ways negative experience. Firstly we got the B team installing the panels and had uneven bits of metal left sticking out from under the panels. This was finally put right five weeks later.
Paperwork has only been provided because we have chased the company. Our neighbour who also had panels installed a week or so before us by the same company is still waiting his paperwork.
We were promised a £200 voucher plus one for the neighbour who referred us. Still chasing that.
We had this company not because it was the cheapest, it wasn’t, but because of reviews which claimed excellent customer service. This has not been our experience.

From first to last the procedure was efficient. The initial advice given by the manager was helpful and everything was explained in detail. The installation was conducted efficiently and with a minimum of disruption.

Everything went well on the installation. Competitive price. Latest technology. Explained in full without pressure. Did the job cleanly and explained the gismo's. All good really. Nice people and patient!

Very efficient, friendly team who explained everything very well.

The contact by phone from the team to advise of visits and progress was very good.
The team of guys who came to do the installation (young Charlie and older Charlie), worked hard and were very courteous and behaved in a professional manner. They explained what they were going to do and what they were able to complete each day as 3 visits were required for the initial installation. They were short some components when they arrived on the first day, but Charlie the electrician ended up making a 100 mile round trip to get the components!
On the second day the roofer Terry explained that the roof space could accommodate a further 4 solar panels, which we are going to have installed soon.
Overall, the experience has been good, just awaiting the finalisation of the paperwork (carried out by GRC) with our electricity supplier so that we can be paid for the power we export.
GRC Solar have been a good company to deal with and I would recommend them!

I would thoroughly recommend this company. From start to finish, they have been extremely helpful to an OAP not used to technology, calling in to explain my queries. Everything was done in the timescale quoted and to a high standard. Office staff and installers all very pleasant and helpful and installation work was done to a high standard. Very pleased indeed!

Everything from the initial chats through to installation was spot on. Everything is professional and really done to a high standard. You can tell they take a pride in what is a very efficient business. Also the end result is brilliantly installed solar panels and infrastructure that will make life easier and pay dividends. I’d like to add the chaps themselves are a great bunch. Highly recommend GRC 👍 🙌

Interaction with the company representative with regard to setting up export of energy to grid was excellent. Charlie was very helpful and efficient and made the procedure relatively straightforward.

I’m more than happy I told him,wished I’d had them installed years ago.
The most important thing about the phone call,is that Ian from GRC phoned.
I’ve had the Solar and battery’s nearly 3 years.
I had confidence in the company,when GRC Solar installed,my panels and battery’s,the staff were excellent and well mannered.
This however gives me more confidence in the future!

i spoke to ian about 4 weeks ago about export payments during the conversation he asked me about my wife.i told him she had just been admited to hospital with a stroke He called me back today to set up the export payments the 1st thing he asked me was how is your wife i was amazed he had remembered and he said he would sort everything out for me

Excellent company. Good communication keeping us updated regularly. Any issues are resolved VERY quickly, with suggestions on how to proceed if we get stuck. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for solar panels.

I have had a very good experience with GRC, Ian was very informative, the scaffolders were very efficient and the installers were very experienced, quick and tidy.
I have had my solar panels for a week now and the after sales service is very good, both in the office, nothing is too much trouble, and Ian has visited and helped me understand the app… and switch over to another energy supplier. All good so far!
