When meeting Nigel, I was comfortable with his presentation and his explanation helping me to understand how solar works he listened to my requirements. And problems and helped to solve these both from a financial aspect and installation issues
I then had a few other discussions with a couple of other companies and came to the conclusion That Nigel offered me the most flexible Options to suit my circumstances
The system was fitted very quickly. And.
To my satisfaction.
And I have no hesitation in recommending home comfort enterprises as a professional installer Once again, thank you, Nigel. And the team so much for all of your help.

I see a lot of positive reviews here for Nigel and he was friendly but I also thought he was untrustworthy during his visit due to these reasons :

- he showed me his Octopus energy account on his iphone which was £2000 (two thousand) in credit which he claimed had accumulated in only 6 months since the start of the year from selling solar energy from his home back to the grid falsely building up my expectations (i have since learnt a more realistic amount would be £200 for the same period)
- to entice me, he openly breached GDPR rules and shared his other customers contracts/proposals with me from his iPad, I could clearly see the customers' names/addresses and high amounts quoted (~£13k each), then later quoted me £13k too
- he offered a lower "cash only" discount price explaining he could avoid corporation tax and so could reduce my quote by £900
- offered further discounts which he said were only available whilst he was at my home, pressing me to make the deal immediately.
- called his electrician Abdullah to arrange a site visit to my home (costing £250) even before I agreed to a sale
- claimed to be a member of HIES and left his company brochure with "HIES Accredited member" printed but later when I checked I could not find 'Home Comfort Enterprises' on the HIES website.

His tactics left me feeling pressured and I just had to share my experience here

Nigel and the team were excellent. Everything was clearly explained and the installation went smoothly. They did not interfere with our day to day activities as a company.
Since the install it is clear that they have been keeping an eye on everything to make sure that it's all working correctly and as we still aren't 100% on how it all works it's great to see this aftercare taking place.

Nigel is different to most company owners-he really understands his field and can explain everything very clearly.
His company provides a polished performance with great info,hassle-free delivery of panels/batteries and brilliant professional electricians to make sure that your product does what it should.
Problems encountered were only of electrical supply companies making and Nigel and Abdul spend time on helping even where it is clearly not of their making.
This is the company you need when youre an ignorant medic like myself!!

I don’t often leave reviews, but feel in this instance I have too!!! I have always been interested in solar, but thought financially it was out of my reach . Step in Nigel and his lovely team !!!! Nigel came to my home and gave me an education, it was wonderful !!! At no point was I pushed , I was presented with facts , and more importantly if it would actually benefit me and my home. The speed and professionalism in which everything was arranged was second to none, everyone in the whole process was courteous and friendly and I can’t thank them enough !!! There is a minefield of providers/installers around , but I am sure you will not get a better, more informative and courteous service anywhere else , I am so glad I chose them !!! Just take the plunge, you won’t regret it !!! I haven’t looked back since, I love my new solar life !!!!

When we enquired about solar panels Nigel came to our home and explained everything to us in an easy to understand way. After agreeing to go ahead everything went smoothly with scaffolders electrician and fitters all very professional and respectful. All done in a couple of days. Thank you to all involved.

There are numerous Solar Panel installers on the internet. Home Comfort Enterprises Ltd (HCE) make you feel part of the family offering advice (on the whole integrated system not just the panels). Nigel walks you through the options and costs. Once selected the team support you through installation and post installation. The HCE team (Nigel, Abdul, fitters, scaffolders) from start to finish provide a fast and proficient service.

If you are looking for solar panels then this is definitely the go to company. There is no hard pushy sell. Nigel, owner of the company, explains things as they are so you can understand what is involved and his team of scaffolders, electrician and solar panelist’s were an absolute delight. Very professional,efficient and very tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company absolutely. And the price was very competitive too

Selecting a vendor/installer of solar panels is far from straightforward. The former needs to be knowledgeable and to set accurate expectations, based on listening to the customer, and the installation planner needs to propose a credible schedule. At HCE, they stand out in both key dimensions. Nigel provides fact-led, credible, and fair presentation of the deliverables and Abdul exceeded our expectations in terms of the velocity and quality of the installation.
Equally the fitters, Ilya and Ivan, were outstanding in their respective competences. The parts deliveries and neatness of their work meant the installation was completed in a single day. The scaffold team were equally responsive and professional. From start to finish our experience of dealing with HCE has stood out from the crowded field of providers. Everything was explained in great details by Nigel. From the scaffolding, the installation of the panels, plus the removal of the scaffolding was really quick. The men who installed the panels, were really tidy, it's as if they never came. Would highly recommend.

The service provided was excellent. The work was done quickly and efficiently with helpful information and explanations of how the process would work.

Super quick installation process from start to finish. Nigel was very knowledgeable, handled all questions and the team delivered everything super smooth! Everything was delivered on Thursday, installation day was Friday, roofer had a van breakdown and one piece was missing from delivery but it was all sorted Saturday morning and we had scaffolding and all trash gone on Monday. Very happy with everything, especially when the sun comes up 😉

After an initial enquiry via an online portal, HCE were the first to respond (within minutes) and a meeting set up for the following weekend.

Meeting Nigel was a pleasure and his passion and depth of knowledge regarding solar power is very impressive. From the outset we established a great rapport and Nigel explained all the facets involved with solar power, covering current utility companies, billing and through to the advantages (savings).

Six companies submitted quotes and it was neck-and-neck on the last two shortlisted - very difficult to decide, however HCE won the race after amending the various scenarios available (panel numbers, battery sizes etc). As soon as we signed the contract, details regarding delivery of the equipment and installation dates quickly followed. When it came to installation; Jay (Scaffolding), Matt / Max (Electrics) and Dal (installer), were fantastic – all knowledgable, professional, great to speak with and discuss the process.

Very impressed, delighted to be up and running and being self-sufficient (sunny days at least).

From our first meeting with Nigel hce were very professional, knowledgeable and gave a first class service right through to after installation.
Had a couple of quotes beforehand but found Nigel to be refreshingly different, very straightforward and helpful. The price was in the same bracket of the others (all within 1k)
The surveyor was very helpful and the contact from the office was good too.
The fitters arrived early on the day of fit, worked hard (drank lots of tea) left the house immaculate. The battery is hidden nicely in the loft and we're already generating electricity!

Can’t recommend them highly enough!

HCE were quick, professional from start to finish. Nigel is a knowledgeable and committed supporter of solar and made the decisions easy for us. Abdul and his friendly team installed the panels on the roof in one day (including scaffolding) and we were up and running with the battery and using the fabulous Fox info App the next.
After just over a month and even in Winter we can see the savings mount. More importantly, we feel so comfortable about reducing our reliance on the grid and an added bonus is that we will soon be selling energy back into it. A great investment and the right thing to do.
